- Brian (8/5): - Great location. It is a remodelled hotel with lots of stairs. Bring your own cup/glass. Bed and sheets are excellent. Small bedroom with very nicely remodelled bathroom. Great TV channel choices (Crave, Disney). Good value for area. Nice coffee shop right beside hotel which is great. We are in our 60’s so I would not stay here again because of stairs or at least not on top floor. The gentleman who worked desk did carry our big suitcase up the stairs for us. It would have been nice to have access to a common fridge and hospitality coffee/tea.
- Bev (8/5): - It’s like a newly renovated 3-storey old building. No Lifts available, so if you don’t want an extra legwork after a long day, select or ask a room in 1st floor. Bed is comfortable, washroom is clean, sometimes the floor creaks as you walk in the corridors and inside the room. The room they assigned to us was at the end on the 3rd floor, the floor is slightly slanted it caught us off guard with balancing. We stayed for only 1 night so it’s still convenient considering the 6min drive to Central Station and a 10min walk to Bronsecours Market and La Grande Roue the Montreal.

Only bright overhead lighting so no reading at night. No where to put luggage and the tiniest closet. But clean and bed was fairly comfortable. Room was warm and air conditioner was loud.

Although small the rooms are Nicely renovated and the bathroom was lovely. There is no lift however the wonderful receptionist helped me get my bag to the room. The wifi was a bit hit and miss at the hotel however There is a nice cafe right across the street that sells great coffee and light meals including home made croissants and has great wifi

Toutes les communications ont été faites en anglais. La personne à l’accueil était très sympathique mais ne parlait pas français non plus et la communication était très difficile malgré sa bonne volonté.
- Elwyn (8/5): - The location provides great walk ability to all of old Montreal. A well used cycle lane is right outside the door with good connectivity to other bike lanes. Staff are very friendly but a little disorganized (it took 3 days to get the cleaning). The rooms are very small with no bedside tables or drawers for clothing. Beds are small but good. Shower was great. Not great soundproofing so your upstairs neighbours movements are noticeable. More like student accommodation than hotel accommodation. The price was reasonable. There is a wonderful cafe across the street.

- Daniel (6/5): - We booked a room that said we're getting a queen size bed. It is in fact a double bed which was not as advertised. We asked to be moved to a room that had a queen but its was just the same bed size just a slightly bigger room. Rooms are super tiny but clean and fine for what we needed. The building is very old. Foundation is sinking. Everything is out of level so doors don't properly latch or stay closed. Walls, windows and doors are all cracking. So feels like your on a sinking ship. If you don't mind that, the place is fine and overall not bad. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

I’d love to know the pillow brand so I can buy from home. There is not even a cup in the room so be sure to bring one if you want water. Location near the Old Port is perfect.

- Rahim (2/5): Not great, didn’t realize low budget meant these c - Website pictures are fake and misleading. The entire room was on a ramp, not kidding, please check. I had to keep everything to one end because it would roll around. I have a busted knee, and it was a challenge to go from one side of room, up ramp to other. Feels like floor is caving in on one end. There is no privacy or security, the room door had a 2 inch gap at bottom where would could see people walking in hallway. There was a one inch gap at the top of door as well so if you’re tall like myself, you can see into rooms. You can hear everything happening in other rooms, everything, from whispers, people taking showers and also sexual sounds all night long on second floor on first night I stayed. No elevator is on website but not easy to find, very misleading. I went downstairs 3 times to get toilet paper since there was none in room, but nobody on site. Very run down furniture and somewhat dirty. Except bathroom, which was immaculate. Towels were stained, sheets were dirty, and blanket / duvet had holes in it.

- Brenden (4/5): - This property has many problems and few positive attributes. Firstly the rooms are very small, the standard room seems to be less than 10x10 not including the bathroom. The floor is uneven and my particular room had a downslope between 2 and 7 degrees. The bathroom was updated and modern which was nice however the slope does continue. There is no restaurant, bar or elevator on location. If you plan on drinking don’t stay here as the staircase and sloped floors are a nightmare for anyone stumbling back after a night out. The sound proofing is not good either in the rooms. Overall I do not recommend this place it is relatively cheap but still does not reflect the quality of the room. Staff was helpful and friendly, there are no homeless hanging around and it’s in a decent location for activity in old town Montreal.

Attention pour les oreilles sensibles l’insonorisation des chambres est faible sinon la chambre est conforme aux photos.La chambre a été rénové, il n’y a pas très longtemps. Point fort la possibilité de laisser les bagages en dépôts gratuitement après le check-out. Localisation à quelques minutes à pied du vieux Montréal.

- Laetitia (8/5): - Hôtel bien placé dans Montréal. La literie était confortable. Dommage qu’il n’y a pas de petit déjeuné de compris. Le seul point négatif est que le mail envoyé est en anglais uniquement.

- Aaron (4/5): - This property seems to have just opened for business. No signage outside, and construction in the lobby. There is no elevator The is NOT a bar as listed The rooms are small and sparse with no mirror except in the bathroom. It has potential but was not as advertised.

- Laurie (10/5): - Lift hôtel is so cute and convenient. It was a perfect stay. The location is amazing and the room was super clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced, but nice - It's a cool area, but for the cost of the room we didn't have a great time. It was tiny, which is fine for us, but for $150 a night we sort of expected more. We also had an issue with the heating and had to message the remote concierge to try to fix it through this app, which resulted in us moving forward rooms in the late evening, which I was sort of inconvenient. The windows don't open so you can't control if it's too hot in there. There is also a set of endless stairs to get up to your room, so don't book here it you are faint of heart. Overall, I liked some of the places I paid less for better.
