Guest Reviews
- Katrina (2/5): - Room had a strong alcohol smell , bed was kinda hard and flooor was dirty
- JACQUELINE (2/5): - This property and rooms does NOT look like the posted picts. Every single person checking in was complaining about the same things- room cleanliness, safety, smell, damage.
- Amanda (2/5): - NO WIFI !!!! Can’t even connect HOTSPO to TV!!!NO TV SERVICE!!!! NO POOL!!!! And yet they ask for 50$ DEPOSIT UP FRONT WITH CARD NO CASH!!!!!!
- Jose (2/5): Terrible - Did not even stay one night, looked at the room that was on ready and decided to leave
- Monica (6/5): - No smoke detector in room, it was legitimately just removed out the ceiling and there was just a hole with wires sticking out. No wifi. Lights didn't all work.
- Celia (2/5): - Uncleanliness no hot water to shower, no housekeeping, had to ask for towels then told to bring them the dirty ones. No staff to help you, run down no pool or WiFi. Just overall disgusting. NEVER stay there again.
- Cynthia (2/5): - The property was very run down and in a bad part of town. Saw a few homeless drug addicts roaming around the area. The rooms smelled musty, half of the lights didn’t work, the room was dirty. The TVs weren’t hooked up to anything except local antenna channels that barely worked. No wifi or anything available. Stains in the showers and sinks. The front door wasn’t aligned properly so you had to almost slam it to get it closed.
- Kristy (2/5): - I did not like it at all false advertising there's no pool and the room don't have hot water and there are wiring outside exposed on the roof of the hotel I would not stay here they don't offer breakfast but want to charge a deposit fee this is the worst hotel I've been to in Corpus Christi
- Tapacia (2/5): - Front desk was very very rude..... Tried extending my stay he wasn't even being courteous shut my off .my niece stopped by for me to babysit he complained but it was a emergency.... So on top of that it was a deposit he refused to give me my deposit told me I could never rent there again....
- Brenda (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Miriah (2/5): - There's a pool but no water. Tv didn't work. The room was dirty. Most of the lights didn't work. The motel was run down and falling apart. But still asked for a 50$ deposit.
- Esther (10/5): - Cleanest hotel compared to others in that price range
- Ruth (2/5): - DO NOT STAY at this place!!! It simply should not be listed to rent. The place is molded, most rooms are vacant due to its poor condition. We experienced seringes outside the straiway entrance. Just not fit at all to stay in.
- robert (2/5): - Poor air conditioning its hot. No hot water, no microwave, poor service, place is on its last leg
- A. (10/5): - N/A
- Myriam (4/5): - Buenas tardes no está condiciones de rentar el baño la bañera mucho moho paredes rotas le hace falta mantenimiento. Los alrededores muy feo no lo recomiendo
- Alfredo (2/5): - Worse hotel
- Alexander (2/5): - Filthy no towels or blankets holes in the wall no smoke detector no pool trashcan were overflowing on to the highway it was a very terrible experience I wished I never booked this hotel
- Nicole (2/5): - The most horrible hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was run down and cracks on the wall. The sheets had blood on them and all type of stains on them. We also had no TV remote and the front desk rep was extremely rude.
- Francisco (2/5): - No internet pool not working room on bad conditions
- Wendy (2/5): - The hotel felt very run down and unsafe. The room was overwhelming with the smell of mold, and one of tge beds was broken. We didn't stay, went somewhere else. It was terrible.
- James (2/5): No hot water for showers cable is great no pool - No hot water couldnt take hot showers very unhappy wouldnt stay here again
- Michael (2/5): - Worst hotel ever.. old.. rundown and very sketchy
- Albert (2/5): Want a refund - No Tv the 2 days we were there! The toilet was wobbly!Holes all over.one of our suitcases...had some sort of liquid in it!That was not there when we went out!
- Angie (2/5): - TV didnt work, bathroom light flashed like a strobe light or didnt work at all, no toliet psper upon arrival didnt check in until midnight, no towels until the next afternoon! The front didnt help much on the tv situation just kept saying maintenance was coming and never did, had to go buy my own toliet paper, the bedding wasnt clean, just a horrible place to stay at..
- Kristine (8/5): - Good
- Valerie (8/5): - n/a
- Becky (2/5): - I would give this place 0 stars if I could but since you can't I have to give it 1. I paid for my room in advance for my daughter and her friend who came along with us. We traveled almost 3 hours to get to the location that we went to and then went there so we could stay the night. We get there to check in and there is only about 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot and the lady working the counter proceed to tells me "oh sorry but we are completely sold out." I told her "And what does that have to do with me? I paid for my room ALREADY, I know that there was the option to pay later but I didn't pick that option I paid for my room. So I should have a room already." She tells me "We have nothing, we can't accommodate you sorry. We will have to refund your money." I told her "Are you serious right now, I drove over 3 hours after not sleeping all night and now I have to drive all the way back home because no other place around here is available unless I want to spend over $200 or $300 for a room and it's already dark out and I've had no sleep. That's messed up."
NEVER AGAIN will I use this place when coming to Corpus Christi EVER, especially after traveling a long distance just to get here and paying in advance. The people who picked pay later should have been given their rooms away over someone who paid in advance.
- Annette (10/5): - out was clean and staff was amazing and room was clean.
- Kiana (6/5): - Overall the motel was pretty decent, my room specifically the sink barely threw out any water and the floor did feel slightly dirty when walking around
- Mylisia (4/5): - Nothing in the room worked. No phone, no WiFi, shower had no pressure,
- Oscar (2/5): - expedia is misrepresenting this property, first of all it’s not even on the same name as listed, the property is not in the conditions listed in expedia pictures it is false advertising. The room has a hole in the wall, has a strong mold smell, the furniture was filthy, the building had open wires that felt they could cause an electrical fire, fence was broken, property have an unsafe feeling.
- Joemaira (6/5): - Toilet was not clean. Issues with light fixtures inside and outside.
- Molly (2/5): - The room smelled like mildew. There was dirty towels hanging in the closet when I went to the front to ask for towels they said they didn’t have any. Mind you there was no other cars in the parking lot. Ac in the room went out the front desk lady was rude about everything I have never stayed in such a horrible hotel motel and will never be back
- Brenda (10/5): - Yes
- Justo (10/5): - Was is a good stay.
- Roger (2/5): - This property needs amajor face-lift and the rooms were decent. The hotel/motel hadno internet at all and there was NO POOL AT ALL JUST AN EMPTY SHELL OF A POOL. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGESTED PAYING A LITTLE FOR A BETTER HOTEL/MOTEL AND BY NO MEANS SHIULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER LOOKING AT COASTAL INN/OYO HOTEL/MOTEL NOT WORTH IT QND WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL/MOTEL EVER AGAIN
- Patty (2/5): - Asking for refund it was an unsafe place to stay and the looks of it was not nothing like i expected
- James (8/5): - Great deal for a last minute reservation
- Dvante (2/5): - I wasn't able to check into the hotel I was going to wear that there was a deposit fee. And also was told that it would be okay for me to use my paper ID but on the right way different I would not be able to check in, I am currently in the process of trying to receive a refund but it's videos that they have to contact the front days and have not been able to all day long so it doesn't look like anything
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The photos are very deceiving. The are of the hotel is not safe. My husband said across the street looked sketchy and there was a pool just no water. I never received my deposited back. We dropped off our stuff was gone for a few hours and decided we were not comfortable staying there with our kids. Was informed i would for sure get a deposit back and possibly a refund but that has not happened.
- Kurt (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay although I did not Like the fact that they charge me A fifty dollar deposit without letting me know online
- Juan (2/5): - The place was not completed with the renovation and the people in the place were very rude. I did not stay there. I went to motel eight and I paid separately out of my pocket.
- juan (6/5): - You get what you pay for. We just needed a place to shower and sleep and that's all. I had 0 especations and To my surprise it wasn't as horrible as I expected . The rooms were "clean" there was hot water and it served its porpuse .
There was a hole in the wall I just hoping no roaches or animals would come out of it lol. If you are going to be out all day and just need a place to sleep and leave again it does the job without breaking the bank
- Isaac (4/5): - The staff was very nice and very receptive to any of my needs. I think the main issue is that the hotel itself needs a lot of maintenance. The desk in the room seemed very loose and may have needed to be replaced. There must have been up to 6 lamps in the room and only one worked. The spectrum cable service was out due to severe weather the night before so there was no TV or Internet. There was no ice machine available. There was no Kleenex in the room. There was only one half roll of toilet paper sitting on the edge of the bathtub because the toilet paper holder was broken and hanging out of the wall. There was only one very small trash can in the room. The bathtub had a crack right down the middle and when I was showering I could feel it moving beneath me. Once again staff was very nice but need some assistance with upkeep. I was only in town for the night to do some finishing. If just looking for a place to sleep for the night and plan on spending most of your time outside the room this place is very inexpensive and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
