Guest Reviews
- Thierry (10/5): Séjour très agréable - Alex qui a été très réactif à nos demandes, résidence très agréable, appartement propre et fonctionnel. Rien
- leni (8/5): Great except wifi connection - Location, comfortable l Wifi very very slow
- Adelle (8/5): - Clean, tidy, affordable with everything we needed for an overnight stay.
- Courtney:-) (8/5): - Clean and tidy. Electric blankets on the bed was a nice touch.
- Kristie (10/5): -
- Grahame (8/5): Pleasant outlook from the property and clean, comfortable place to stay. - Pleasant outlook and relative proximity to Blue Fox restaurant, Hassans Walls Lookout and Garden of Stones National Park. There was nothing we did not like. It met our needs although we thought an oven would be present based on viewing a photo of another villa in the complex beforehand.
It was no 'big deal' but initially we were unaware that we had to activate an unidentifiable and non-illuminated black box by touching it to illuminate the keypad for entering of the code. Will know next time as we would be quite prepared to stay there again.

- Marion (10/5): - It was very clean, simply but adequatly furnished. Very comfortable and very clean. Plenty of room to move around.
Directions supplied and key code sent in plenty of time.
Good, quiet location. Because we arrived in the dark it was a bit difficult to read street signs. When we left in daylight yes, it was easy.
- JIAN QIN (10/5): Worth the Price! - Property is surprisingly well maintained. Equipped with all the necessities and ample parking spot.

Ran the shower & the water smelt musty….. WiFi was poor & kept dropping out, outside the property was not nice!

- jv_oz (6/5): Our stay at 52 Mort met our expectations. - The place was clean and reasonably appointed, nice fluffy towels and the beds were comfortable. The neighbour’s home smelt of cigarettes and we couldn’t work out how to get the TV onto local stations.
- Jonas (8/5): Good option in Blue Mountains - Well equipped apartment in quiet area. Comfy beds. Good option when visiting Blue Mountains. A bit dark, some more lamps in the living room would be good.

- Brenton (10/5): Warm, cosy, homely, comfortable, the perfect accommodation for us a real home away from home. - We loved feeling at home in our apartment, comfortable and warm a real home away from home. My sleep apnea/snoring problem is hard when we travel and share a room so the two separate bedrooms were perfect both bedroom doors were closed and the quality of sleep was high. We loved Lithgow all the locations were close to our accommodation so we could meet up with family to watch them and their kids play soccer hang out with them then leave them to their bedtime routine and come home for a quiet dinner easily prepared in our homely kitchen and an early night to get up and go again the next day. Also very convenient to be able to throw on a load of washing anytime we needed to.
The weather was not unexpected for the mountains in the winter cold windy a lot of sleet and patchy rain throughout the day so was great to have our homely and warm apartment to come back to for a warm cosy quiet evening.
We first stayed here approx 9 years ago when many of the other apartments were booked by other family and friends as we were all attending a family baptism for a firstborn son. It was great as this was in the summer and on the Saturday night we all sat on the outdoor deck and had a lovely evening together. Wifi was adequate at times and a little patchy at other times. I feel this is more a problem of the coverage for the area rather than the accommodation. This does not impact in any way on our intention to book and stay again.
- paul (9/5): Was great accomodation ,well priced would not hesitate to stay again - i liked the fact that every thing was well presented ,neat tidy ,and ready for our arrival ,although we only stayed one night we would not hesitate to stay again, the whole family were impressed ,the motel is a bit cheaper ,but i would rather spend a little more and stay here. The only thing i could pick at was that after getting the key from the lock box we were a little confused which apartment was ours,( probably our fault. )And it looked as if the carpet is due to be replaced ,there were a few holes in the living room area ,,did nt affect the use of the room but looked unsightly.

The kitchen & bathroom in the 2 bedroom apartment was not as recently refurbished but still clean & well maintained.

- robert (9/5): A very comfortable and quiet stay with access to all town locations within a few minutes drive. - Very clean and spacious property. Two medium size bedrooms with comfy beds, a large lounge/dining. Good value for money. The laneway entry/exit was very quiet. Easy access to the main street and cafes etc via car, too far to walk. Great location for those wanting peace and quiet, with a bush outlook. Lovely, updated decor and comfortable beds. Full size kitchen. Good location to base out of for longer trips around the area. Good communication with the owner in regards to the lock box key collection. Would definitely stay here again! Unit #11 isn't actually on Mort Street, it's in a laneway, parallel to and below Mort Street. Would have liked clearer instruction that this was the case.
A dryer would have been great in the laundry, due to strong winds during our stay I didn't use the line.
Unable to put car in garage due to steep driveway.
The unit was a bit further out of the town center than we thought, but was only a few minutes drive into town.
- Jenny (8/5): Great for a short stay and would stay again. - It was clean, quiet, had all the things we needed, and the hosts were very responsive. Needed to have a proper sponge to be able to wash up after cooking.
- Rodney (7/5): -
- Jeff (7/5): -
- Angela (9/5): - The apartment was really good value for money. Extremely clean and everything you need to have for a comfortable stay. Vertical blinds let's light in early morning.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Janelle (10/5): Great experience - The space was clean and modern and managed by very considerate people.
- Vanessa (5/5): Clean and tidy, but very dated. - Comfortable bed and roomy lounge Bathroom was from the 80s, very run down and not as per pictures on website. No balcony or suitable parking. No access to outdoor areas for drying clothes.
- annaleise (10/5): Wonderful, would definately stay again! - Clean and comfortable Other guests were very loud at night, no fault of the hosts.
- Dianne (9/5): I would definitely recommend 52 on Mort to anyone looking for accommodation in Lithgow. I was very impressed. - Very clean, bed comfortable and cosy. Every amenity needed for a good stay. The shower was hard to regulate and was quite noisy
- Xuewan (6/5): -
- Kwan (9/5): - a photo showing the location of the key box will be helpful.
- Melinda (2/5): -
- Jo (10/5): - This this the second time we've stayed here and found both apartments to be clean and very comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay is supplied. The only thing that the downstairs apartment needed was an oven. It had a cook top and microwave though.
- Null (8/5): Very enjoyable stay all round. - Our apartment was modern and clean. Excellent amenities were provided, soaps, tea, coffee and milk. Nice big, soft towels. Quality kitchen wares and everything was really clean and in excellent order. A couple of softer pillow options are needed. Other than that, personally I would have loved it to have been a queen bed, rather than a double. But it was in good condition, if a little on the firm side.
- Laura (8/5): Overall a pleasant stay - The heated beds, the coziness and the parking right on front of the apartment
Very clean There is a 2-3cm gap under the front door and spiders kept coming in attracted by the heat of the house probably. Luckily the house was provided with insecticide so we sprayed the door heavily and it stopped them. Since spiders in Australia are dangerous and some are huge, it is not exactly ideal to build with such a gap under the door.
I also would have liked the house the have at least salt and pepper and maybe some olive oil in stock as those are not perishable and it is easy for guest to forget to buy them when doing groceries.
- Rebecca (10/5): It was a great place to spend time with my elderly parents. - I liked being in a self contained unit for convenience of having meals at home instead of venturing out in the evening. It was a very quiet location, no highway noise to keep us awake at night. I think parking could be a problem if all units were occupied. We were lucky it was very quiet for our stay.
- Lisa (9/5): Always a lovely home away from home, with everything you might need covered - Very comfortable and private, easy parking, little touches like coffee and tea
- Sarah (9/5): - Fantastic base for families exploring Lithgow and the surrounds. Kitchen was well thought through and provided everything we needed, fridge was spotless. Apartments were cosy and clean. Easy check in, Thank you for leaving door lights on in case of late arrival. Little confusing to find via sat navigation, but signage and staff check in instructions were very helpful.
- Michelle (9/5): -
- Tiffany (10/5): -
- Gail (9/5): -
- Deborah (8/5): -
- Tracy (9/5): Lovely well cared for unit - Very clean and comfortable The town water was off most of our stay. No fault of the owner.
- GerhardGreyling (9/5): Comfortable base to explore from - Great location, quiet little town with everything you need nearby. Lithgow town had issues with water supply the whole weekend but the owners were very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place and we'll be back in future
- Phaninder Prasad (4/5): Ok, will not come back again - Bed Heaters No Internet, cleanliness of the room -some items were left in the bedroom draws
- Leanne (6/5): - Unit was comfortable & had all the basic amenities.
Property was clean
Shower had Good water pressure & was hot. Carpet was stained
Front door was not secure - we came home to find door had blown open. It needed to be really pushed hard for the lock to properly engage.
The outdoor area was not inviting
- Wilson (10/5): - Lovely well equipped apartment.
Comfortable and clean
- Justin (10/5): -
- Linda (8/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional comfort and value. - The apartments are very modern, clean and comfortable. More than adequate for a quick stay while passing through Lithgow. There's also a great restaurant 300m walk away called Frankies that we recommend for dinner. Couldn't fault it really. The entry laneway and the building itself is nothing special but the apartments are really nice and clean inside which is what matters.
- Stephanie (9/5): -
- Rachael (8/5): Lovely apartment comfy beds and well furnished - Nice and cosy with the heat pump Just a shame there were no complimentary pods for the coffee machine and no laundry powder for the washing machine
- Helen (9/5): Loved this unit. Very very comfortable - Breakfast was not included. Location was good and in town. The property was very clean and cosy, the decor was nice and the linen was excellent.
- Anton (9/5): -
- Bindesh (8/5): -
- Yin-Chung (10/5): -
- Zoe (8/5): -
- Megan (8/5): Lovely and quiet, clean and comfortable - Lovely and quiet, very private... suited my needs very well Was a bit awkward to get into the property from the back alley, but managed ok
- RJ08 (9/5): Very glad to find this unit - Cleanliness, powerful aircon, quiet location yet convenient to supermarkets and communication with the owner are some of the best things about staying at this accommodation. All blinds in the unit were a little short and we couldn't adjust them to open/close either. However it wasn't crucial as it's located in a quiet residential area.
- Kenneth (9/5): - Mort street is not well signed, but this is a Lithgow Council problem, not that of the host. It is divided into two parts with the main part continuing east as a broad road with a different name - Chifley Rd. There is no visible sign to the part up the hill where no 52 is located. However the map sent by the host was very helpful in this regard.
- Khan (5/5): - Location, communication from property manager The Flush was not working in 1st Day. Shower screen door was broken
- Svitlana (9/5): -
- Raheel (9/5): -
- Mathew (10/5): Alex the host was only a text and call away. Absolutely awesome - Cleanliness and location
- Robyn (8/5): Somewhere I’d come back to - Spacious and well appointed Hard to locate the keys
