The luggage cart was broken. It’s easy to get lost at this large hotel. Our overall experience was great.

• Andrea (8/5): - The hotel is clean and quiet. The check in process was smooth. The hotel "upgraded" us from a Standard room to a Suite, which we were not prepared for, in the process seem to have lost our breakfast being included, as I chose when booking through Expedia. The room was nice, although it did smell a bit musty and the bathroom was small. The vending machine is where you can get soft drinks and water at any time which was broken Saturday, making a horrific sound non stop. Night desk clerk Aeran had put a call in for it to be fixed, yet was still broken Sunday when we checked out. I think the DEV hotel might be dealing with some upkeep issues, as another guest mentioned that their coffee maker and something else in their room wasn't working. Shout out to Server Therese and Sous Chef Paul, who were very helpful about our free breakfast being denied by front desk staff Tiffany, who was quite frankly VERY rude and literally told me "prove it" and then I wasn't able to access my booking information about this on Expedia and made me wish I had printed everything before leaving home instead, because this is something I always check for when booking hotels and left us scrambling to find some place else for breakfast. There is a really nice walking/biking path across the road from the hotel, which has an aviation theme by the way. Despite our experience with Tiffany, the fact that Paul fixed it, improved my opinion. I would have given 5 stars if not for dealing with her bad attitude
• Penny (10/5): - The hotel is 100% brand new & renovated. It’s a really really nice room. The building is huge and it’s a bit of a maze, because of the meeting facilities, however when you do find your room, it is well worth the price. So glad we stayed here.
• Louise (10/5): - Welcoming staff in every area. Bar staff very friendly and helpful with knowledge of the local area. Pool amazing size and catering excellent. Would definitely recommend. So pleased we stayed an extra night and receptionist couldn't have been more helpful.
• Beth (10/5): - While getting around the hotel was a bit of a maze (tongue in cheek!), the building is beautiful, the staff are excellent (including the General Manager!), and the entire place is accessible for mobility challenged individuals. Our room was very comfortable - the only thing missing was a garbage can in the huge bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bravo!

• Tia (2/5): Don't be fooled by the misleading pictures ! - We booked this place as a stop in stay during travels for one evening. Based on the reviews and pictures we were convinced it would be a good option for a stop in. While i cant speak entirely to the common areas as we arrived late at night i will say from the moment we walked in it gave off vibes of a student residence/dorm rooms. Sadly that equally extended to the room. The mattresses were so old and terrible. The pull out couch mattress even worst with red and yellow stains. An extremely leaky sink faucet we could not get to stop. The laminate counter top was bubling and had mold on thr caulking and the caulking was also stripped in some areas. The toilet was the size of a toilet you would find in a kindergaten classroom. We all woke up swollen with extreme pressure in our heads and as soon as we got out of the building we slowly started to feel better and throughout the day the swelling in everyones fingers including out children started to go down. We travel often and stay many places and while I do hold a bar of places I am willing to stay having reviews claiming this was a 10/10 exceptional place this could not have been further from the truth on our experience.

Way overpriced at $208 for a supposedly queen room and bed was very uncomfortable and slanted to the middle. Don't stay there. Found out today that residents of Cornwall advise visitors not to stay there. Expedia should remove it from there site.

• Menchu (6/5): - The gym and swimming pool are large giving a wonderful experience. Lobby is spacious and nicely decorated with a a view of back garden and waterfalls. The ground floor hallways have good layout and accommodating. We booked a river view room and were given a very small room with wall and old roof view, soffucating. However the bathroom is renovated and clean looking. The phone in the room does not work. After a bit of a search for a better room, we finally moved into one with a partial view of the river and vegetation. Lovely! Though the room still small with tiny old but clean bathroom, the bed was comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast was also offered. The staff on duty was very warm, attentive, offered us more than we need. Finding your room is kind of creepy passing through narrow quiet aged hallways and small doors, plus confusion of labelling. Our room key says 4515 which we thought the 4th floor as it says, where in fact referring to room label V515 on the 5th floor. It took us a few elevator trips up and down wearied and frustrated. The lady on duty at desk was nice but failed to properly direct us.

Provided tips for surrounding points of interest to explore. Big Ribfest weekend! Not sure what the rooms looked like before the reno but they spared no expense in creating a comfortable environment to work and recharge. All the available amenities were provided - access to gym, tennis courts and onsite pub.

Not only are the property and accommodation in immaculate conditions, but tou will learn interesting facts about the Canadian military aviation history and some of its key players. You will not be disappointed bu coming here. We can’t wait to come back.

Bathroom door did not close and whole area was under renovation. I have never had issues with Expedia but this was a terrible experience.

• SANDRA (6/5): - Pool hours limited. I arrived at 730 pm to be told that I had less than 1 hr to use the pool. I booked this property because of the large pool which looked like you could do laps. The “River view” that I purchased overlooked the parking lot and was below grade. The halls were unbelievably windy and made no sense - I think that this is a repurposed campus dorm from the 80s. The suite was clean and nice but very cramped- like a dorm room. The mattress was comfortable and the room was quiet. I feel like this hotel is misrepresenting itself as a hotel.
