Guest Reviews
- Murtadha (6/5): - Its ok but not great facilities
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful, should be shut down - Arrived and no sign posted well. Spoke to someone through a ring door bell and was told to get a key from the safe. Upon arriving in the room, well pictures speak for themselves.
- Timothy (2/5): - Property looked as though it was closed down. All furniture removed and bedrooms were uninhabitable. Left after 2 hours
- Leah (6/5): - I had clean bedding/ towel and somewhere to park. The housekeeper who greeted me was friendly and couteous. So far so good. However, the rooms are in a converted pub (but the pub isn't open) and to call it a 'hotel', I think, is stretching the definition. I would say it's more like an HMO/hostel. There was unfinished laminate flooring in the corridors which was noisy when people were walking past, the kettle had to be put on the floor to reach the plug socket and the shower tray was damaged and black mould was evident. Overall cleanliness/state of repair was not good (eg the pull cord for the shower room light was filthy (ie dark brown in colour) and had no finial either. However, it was very reasonably priced for London so I guess that's all I could have expected but I dont think it should be listed as a 'hotel'.
- Ahmed (2/5): - Room not clean, carpet need to be replaced, toilet and bath not clean, people smoke in side the room bed need to change
- Glenn (4/5): - Bed, toilet and kettle were ok. No warm water. Tv and some sockets didn’t work. Wardrobe was damaged at the back. Shower was dirty. Floor was dirty and old sweet behind draw. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- Henri (6/5): - Loose tiles on bathroom floor. Very tiny tv that had basically 1 channel. Pillows on bed were very cheap quality. Room was extremely tiny.
On the positive side, location was great, water pressure was very good, and price was good.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid like the plague - This is the very definition, of a bed in a room, I reckon, most modern prisons are more inviting.
The location was convient due to an event on the outskirts of London, it was cheap, but not so cheap I had 0 expectations.
The chap who welcomed us in was nice enough, but the reception was a dark, gutted out pub floor with limited lighting and junk furniture scattered around. There was nothing inviting about the room, which barely fit the bed in. most of the plug sockets either didn't work or weren't attached. The TV had no signal and rendered pointless. We were treated to two of the thinest pillows possible, and lay on a cheap matress.
The worst part was the thin walls and loud noises at all times of the night, what felt like a tin can became an echo of all the conversations had by the owners? and their friends in the lobby all night.
To top of our questionable stay, when leaving, my partner was requested to "come here" by an older gentleman, when she refused to entertain the idea she was asked again and again, being told "i want to give you something", most unproffessional and frankly disturbing.
