Guest Reviews
- Nicola (8/5): Pleasant enough for time with family but I wouldn’t book if you are travelling with an older generation as the property - Spacious ground floor area, nice feeling and good gathering area for family. Quiet area. No down stairs Wc , bath on first floor and only shower was in the very compact en-suite on the second floor. This was very tricky as 7 adults 3 of whom could not step into the bath or manoeuvre the shower space or the narrower stairs . Also you would need to disturb the occupant of the room in order to access so not ideal. The note about the parking was adhered to on arrival, we only bought one car to the property however perhaps a note to the neighbours as we were unable too park outside the property again due to other vehicles being there and most of the road .the front door is tricky to open and close and should probably be looked at soon. The inside of the property is a little tired looking . Cracks in the hallway and kitchen ceilings and patches on the wall in the kitchen/ dining area that look like they need more attention…. No shortage of plug sockets though! The beds were not overly comfortable at best serviceable. Lastly there were quite a number of woodlouse spotted so you may want to investigate that.
- Burton (10/5): - No downstairs toilet
- mark (9/5): Excellent stay. Fully recommend. - Great host. Allowed early checkin. Lovely clean property. Great location. 5 min walk to station and sea front. Nothing
- Ian (7/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): It’s a lovely house and very comfortable - Ideal location Downstairs toilet would have been helpful as we had elderly parents with us and also a shower in the main bathroom although there is a shower on the top floor
- Colin (9/5): - Location was excellent, property was lovely.
- Tom (6/5): -
- Daniel (7/5): - Location and spacious rooms. Parking is awkward and an additional bathroom/ shower/ toilet would have been useful.
- W J (10/5): Brilliant and spot on. - The property and host both were spot on. Had few questions after the booking, sent a message and matters of minutes received a call explaining all the questions.
Property was brilliant. I can recommend it all day long. Kids really loved it, wanted to stay one more night but it was all booked.
- Marc (9/5): Brilliant holiday home. - Cleanliness.
Modern Facility
Layout and space
Very comfortable. The 2nd floor bath, needed a shower hose and screen.

- Christopher (8/5): Lovely place, that only needs a few tweaks to make this a 10/10 score. - The level of redevelopment is really good.
The bathrooms and kitchen are excellent.
Plus the location is ideal to nip the promenade or nip into town. The only improvements I would mention, should only be taken as constructive criticism and not a negative. The place really is good, but these would be measures that would make us return when we are next in the area.
1) the mattresses aren’t that comfortable at all, if these were replaced then this would make the stay that much better.
2) the front sitting room is only one with a TV, has a sofa that has seen better days, and the room is too small to fit the max number of 10 people that the house is designed for. If the kitchen sitting area had a TV then this would be more suited for a large group of people to chill out together. The sofa in here is much more comfortable and the room is more suited to a large group of people.
3) to suit a large family or group, they just need to provide more glasses and utensils in the kitchen. There are only 3 wine glasses and the cutlery needs updating.
- Claire (9/5): Perfect home for a family/friends trip - This property was utterly spotless and everything was to a high standard. The house was very spacious yet cosy and overall very comfortable. The location was good for local amenities and also connections to the ferry port and Liverpool via bus/train. Not having a downstairs loo was inconvenient (especially if you had a full house!) and just a few little additions would make this property flawless eg mirrors in bedrooms for getting ready, blinds/curtains in all bedrooms, bins in bathrooms.

- Monika (9/5): Superb -
- A (8/5): Great clean house with great social spaces - bedrooms could use an update. - We liked the clean open plan nature of the house with the downstairs being a great place for socialising.
The location was great, very central with just a short stroll down to the promenade or to the train station to go into Liverpool itself, and the friendly owner on the phone made the check in and check out process all very easy.
Overall I would stay here again in the future. The bedrooms particularly on the top floor needed better beds with some being a bit too short and not comfortable as they were on the floor with no proper bed frames but a wooden makeshift box. The only other complaint was the shower water pressure.
- Ken (7/5): Good - The property has a decent amount of space for a family gathering and in a nice calm area with easy access to the heart of New Brighton and trains to and from Liverpool centre. And a good host.
- Kate (10/5): Superb property, great location, fabulous hosts, plenty of room for a large group, clean, tidy, modern and great value f - Great property. Amazing in fact!
