Guest Reviews
- Barry (10/5): - Super clean! Great staff and customer service!
- Ryan (10/5): - Awesome stay!! Highly recommend!!!
- Yujie (10/5): - Awesome hotel! Great location! Staffs were very friendly and clear about checkin/out instructions. Recommend!
- Joshua (10/5): Great hotel. Happy family - We really enjoyed our stay. All the employees were so friendly, from check in to check out, they were so polite. The room was so spacious, very tidy and had everything we wanted. We couldnt ask for more. The location was great also, very close to a number of locations and Namba station was just around the corner.
- Omar (10/5): - Great experience overall. The hotel room had everything we needed including a microwave oven and a washer-dryer machine. Super specious. The location was not bas (about 10 minute walk from a station). In general we enjoyed it as it made us feel like we had our own little apartment in Osaka.
- Lauralee (10/5): - Cutest boutique hotel and staff were soo helpful and king with a smile on their faces always
- John (10/5): - Great location, super friendly and helpful staffs. Hotel is very clean, located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access, walking distance to subways, shopping and dining.
- Anne Lezette (10/5): - Recently stayed here as a family of 4 with both kids under 11. Staff has been bery helpful, especially Sandi who helped us navigate our transport options for our departure. Hotel room os spacious for what you can get in the area. About 20min walk to dotonbori and close to other transport/food options. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wishing to stay in Namba.
- Dohyun (10/5): - MONday absolutely met all of our family’s needs! After our long flight and long days of sightseeing, we were always looking forward to coming back to the friendly staff, the clean room, high-tech and clean in-room amenities! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
- Aroha (10/5): - Very nice place to stay. Clean.
- Pierre (10/5): - The place is very clean, the room is bigger than regular hotel's I've stayed in Japan. AC is really cold despite the hot weather outside and the staff are very friendly and have good English speaking skills
- Karla (8/5): Good stay, but not like a regular hotel. - We are a family of four and were comfortable in our room. The rooms are clean and the washer and dryer are a plus for sure. However, in our case the washer stopped working and when I asked the front desk, they would only come up and check if we were in the room. With our tight itinerary that did not work. Another thing to note is that they don't do housekeeping daily like a regular hotel. Also, checkout is at 10am. I thought it was at 11am like most hotels and ended up paying an extra fee for staying the additional hour.
- Vincent (8/5): - Good service
- Joel (10/5): - Love the Property
- Xin (10/5): - Mamba Station has so many food options. Can walk to Dotombori.
- Adeel (10/5): - Excellent quiet location, close to Namba area. Local food and shopping options next door. Clean and comfortable.
- Mylien (10/5): - The hotel was perfect for our family of four. We loved the charming boutique style, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel felt new, was very clean, and we especially appreciated having a washer and dryer in our room. Highly recommend!
- Khounepraseuth (10/5): - Everything was nice, just the pillow was small. Otherwise, it was perfect for us. We’ll definitely return there on our next visit. The accessibility to all major sites by train was just across a small bridge. We travelled by train and when we get tired at night from an activity we take the train to the nearest stop and call a taxi with TaxiGo (App.). I highly recommend this hotel.
- ying (8/5): - 24/7 convenience store downstairs, in room washing machine and dryer,
- Verified traveler (10/5): Would love to come back! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were exceptional; very friendly and helpful. We booked the Grand Family Room, which was very comfortable and spacious, perfect for our young family during our stay. The area is on a quiet street, close to a 7/11 and around 15 minutes walk to Dotonbori. Overall, we would happily stay here again!
- Nick (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay
- Raphyel (10/5): - Easy access to local convenient stores, fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and walking distance to train station and the main shopping district in the city. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a group of adults. Definitely would rec
- Lynette (8/5): - Great place to stay for families. We are a family of 5 and fit nicely. The staff was also very helpful. Would recommend!
- Cylena (10/5): - This was a very clean and very spacious place for my family of 4 to stay at. Very large living room!
- Zoyla (10/5): - Beautiful, clean hotel in an excellent location! Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend!
- John (8/5): Good stay - Overall it is good. Apart from the aircon broke down in extreme heat, the staff member could not fix and reluctant to change us to a different room. Eventually we swapped to a room with aircon working after long and difficult discussion.
- DKen (8/5): - Large size room with mutiple futons
- Stephen (10/5): - Great hotel in excellent location
- John (8/5): - was a nice place - beds were not that comfortable.
- Nga (10/5): - It is a very convenient location, easy walk to Namba station which is a central hub to a lot of places, walk to Namba walk and more
- Phan (8/5): - Area was residential but still full of life and activity. This Monday has more units, which means more neighbors. It was nice, but we must’ve had new ones a couple nights later because they were loud enough to be heard in our room after quiet hours were in effect.
- Dustin (10/5): - Osaka Castle bedroom was awesome, we liked having the swivel TV so we can watch from bed & relax. Don’t mind bed was made perfectly but we accidentally messed it up before we took the picture.
- Kevin (10/5): - Reception staff were truly excellent from before we came to Japan with online questions that they helped with. During our stay nothing was a problem for them, they were so helpful throughout.
- Avigail (8/5): - Great place for family. About 15 minutes walk to Dotonbori
- ANGELA (10/5): - A basic apartment hotel that is perfect for our family of four. Short walk to the metro station. Nearby grocery store and 7-eleven. Lots of restaurants on the main street. Washer in the room is a plus.
- niki (2/5): - Please avoid this hotel if you are claustrophobic. it has very small windows that are tinted and you can not see outside world and only slightly crack open for some air. I could not stay for more than 5 minutes inside the room and had to leave the property with my kids and all our luggage to another hotel. I have not gotten any refund for my 3 days booked. I am hoping Expedia can help.
- Lashawna (10/5): - We stayed 9 nights and it was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful. The room was great and having a washer/dryer in your room was so convenient. The location was a short walk from the subway. Overall it was we loved everything about this place.
- Zafer (10/5): - Great hotel. Large rooms that are very clean. Very good staff. Would recommend for families with children.
One improvement - TV has no channels in English. They need to add a few.
- Cindy (10/5): - Friendly service
- Mohammad (10/5): - It was great. Room sizes are small everywhere in Japan. This is no exception. Room itself was great
- Carlos (10/5): - MONday Apart Premium Osaka Namba WEST was a great choice for our stay in Osaka. The room was spacious, with a comfortable living area and a big sofa—perfect for families or groups of friends. We especially appreciated the in-room washer unit, which came in handy since we packed light. Highly recommended for a convenient and comfortable stay.
- Alex (10/5): - Really great experience and property. Very friendly staff and the room was huge but we did book the grand room. Location was excellent with two stations nearby that can take you to Dotonbori or Shinsaibashi as well as others of course.
Will definitely stay here again if i come back to Osaka.
- eleazar (10/5): - Friendly staff and very helpful!! Great location and close to Namba station.
- Kevin (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place great location short distance from busy Dotonbori
- Brian (10/5): - This was the second MONday apartment hotel we have stayed at. The first one was the MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi which really set the benchmark. This one in Osaka is also good and spacious by Japan standards but the family room in Tokyo Ueno was much bigger than the 2 double/queen that we had in Osaka. We used the in-suite laundry washer/dryer several times - it’s super convenient. Room could use more clothes hangers for drying. Hotel is located several blocks away from an M subway line station and is walkable to the Namba shopping district. Would stay here again.
- Clara (10/5): - Accomodated a family of 5. Clean, friendly staff. Location was good.
- Kou (10/5): - Great stay. I would come back here. Great place for my family. Nice, friendly, and helpful staff members.
- Kelvin (10/5): - Very convenient , clean, amazing kind and helpful staff,
Small rooms/ apartment though, but comfortable enough.
- Jade (10/5): - We moved to this hotel when we were having very bad experience in another one. We booked a deluxe room with two full beds and two sofa beds. Even though we were only three, we wanted to live in a big room after suffering from the previous one. The price was really good even we booke on the same day. The room was spacious, new, clean, and modern. I've never been in such nice room in U.S or Japan. Usually the rooms and beds in Japan are much smaller than US, but the full bed in this hotel can fit two adults with no issues. Bathroom has a washer/dryer machine, which I like the most. I will definitely live in this hotel for my next Japan trip.
- Christina (10/5): -
- Charles (10/5): - Family suite was large and spacious. Liked having washer/dryer in room. Also had refrigerator and cook top. Bathroom was large with a separate toilet. Beds were comfortable. Very quite property. Very close to metro stations. Grocery store a block or two south of hotel to stock up on food. 7/11 across the street for quick treats and cofee on the morning. Close to famous Namba shrine.
- Vincente (10/5): - Rooms were spacious and clean. The location was close to shops and transportation
- Grace (10/5): - Great place to stay in a quiet area very close to everything. Staff are amazing!
- Amir (10/5): - This hotel is in a quiet area, yet close to the Dotonbori area, and only a few minutes to the subway. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is spotless and the room was very comfortable. We stayed in the grand family room, which was spacious for us and our 18 year old son.
- Zephron (8/5): - This was a great place to stay for a stop over to catch up on laundry and reorganise! The hotel was close to a subway and 10mins to a suitcase forwarding service (reception only forward to airports). It was clean, roomy and the washer/dryer a life saver for staying fresh 😁
- Grace (10/5): - Nice and clean property , with good eat in kitchen and laundry, heated toilet sit with bedroom😆
- Yazmin (10/5): - perfect for a family
- Jordan (10/5): - We loved our stay at this property. Incredible place and amenities abound.
- Debra (10/5): - Wonderful stay! The staff were so amazingly helpful and friendly. Very quiet
Very spacious rooms. Appreciated the storage space in the room and the in room washer/ dryer was a huge plus. Bathroom toiletries were very luxurious
Close walk to metro station and to the Dotomb
Would definitely return again
- ming (10/5): - A little far from Dotonbori, but walkable. Take around 20mins, parking available around area, but check the time and date for pricing, can be expensive, I used parking 3. Clean up every 4 days.
- Vicki (10/5): - The place was large for our family of 4 (2 young children). I liked that there was a kitchenette and a fridge and freezer. The space was clean. The only thing about this place was the location, although there was a 7-11 close by, it is relatively far to the nearby train station. Nevertheless, we would book this place again when we return!
- JAE WON (10/5): Excellent hotel - Convenient location, clean room and facilities, kind staffs, overall wonderful stay!
- Pradeep (10/5): - This was a great property. The hotel was clean. Front desk was staffed, and folks were friendly and English speaking. The room was spacious, clean. Washer in the room was actually great including a full drying cycle. We did not need to hang clothes like we had to do in other hotels. On our last day there, it rained and the hotel had umbrellas we could borrow. Overall, I would highly recommend. We were a party of 4.
- Karie (10/5): - Customer service was excellent! Staff was very helpful and kind. 4 of the employees we encountered were always so warm, cheerful, and nice! I wish I got their names. The room was spacious and clean. Easy walk to food, shopping, and train station. My family would love to return and stay here the next time we visit Osaka. Thank you so much! We had a lovely time!
- Takeshi (10/5): - 部屋が広くて清潔で、とても快適に過ごすことができました。
- ? (8/5): - キッチンがあり料理が出来て家族旅行に最適でした。
- Brittany (10/5): - We loved staying here. Beds were soft and room was quite large with a sofa and small kitchen area. Washer/dryer combo in room with laundry detergent available at the front desk for no charge. Close to Glico sign and area shopping, within a 10 minute walk. Close to metro too so easy to get around. We would definitely stay here again!
- Danielle (10/5): - This property had the perfect location between 2 subway stops. It made it very easy to explore many areas of Osaka by foot or train. We had a suite, and it was very large, which was very nice. Plus in suite laundry was a great plus, travelling with a family. 7-11 right across the street for cheap meals and snacks was a bonus.
- Dalton (10/5): - Great room and great staff!
- TING (10/5): - Not too far away from the train station, like 5-7min walk. A few 7-11 and family mart down the hotel. Brand new hotel and everything is clean.
- Yanna (10/5): - Staffs are friendly. Place is very clean and room is big. It has a washing machine in the room and we can do our own laundry. It has supermarket and 711 nearby. And it is close to train station. Highly recommended this hotel especially if you are traveling in big groups/ family members.
- Susan (10/5): A gem in Osaka - This brand new apartment hotel is very spacious by Japanese standards. Attractive and well appointed with everything you might need (including a washer/dryer!), it is immaculately clean and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is near a cat cafe, which enchanted my daughter. I would highly recommend staying here when in Osaka.
- Rayden (10/5): - Newly built hotel. Very friendly staff, rooms were immaculate. Close to the station, making it easy for travel. Offered luggage sending services.
- Sandhya (10/5): - I had an exceptional stay at Monday Apart Premium Hotel Osaka! The hotel just opened in December— everything was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and brand new. My room was spacious and incredibly functional — with a washer/dryer, well-stocked kitchenette, and plenty of amenities.
What made this experience unforgettable was the warm, genuine hospitality from the staff. Every request was handled with such kindness and enthusiasm — I felt so well taken care of throughout my stay.
A special thank you to Sandi, who was so friendly and welcoming when I first visited the hotel to check it out before heading to Kyoto. That lovely interaction convinced me to book my stay here when I returned to Osaka. When I checked out, she surprised me with a beautifully made origami gift — such a touching and personal gesture.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough — truly a hidden gem in Osaka with the kindest team and exceptional comfort.

- ? (10/5): - 雨が振りそうだからと傘を人数分貸してくれました。気遣いに感謝。
- Chelsea (10/5): - Property is nice and the service is great
- Sherry (8/5): Decent Stay for Family of 4 - The good - the property offers small extra amenities like pajamas, robes, toothbrushes, and combs. We had a little welcome present of sakura jelly for cherry blossom season when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The water pressure
- Michelle (8/5): - I did initially have problems with the amount of bedding which was eventually sorted out. The property is very clean, spacious, has everything you need and a family mart across the corner. I would stay again.
- Michelle (10/5): - Every staff member at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. No complaints about our stay.
- jinyong (8/5): - 난바역에서 가깝고 방이 깨끗함.
- Keith (10/5): Great boutique hotel! - The property is a great concept. It has a lot to offer at its price point. I would book again without hesitations.
- Lynae (10/5): - What a gem to find! Big property and affordable rates - it was perfect for our family of 4. We did the grand family room. There was a washer/dryer INSIDE your room (complimentary laundry detergent at the lobby). There's a 7/11 right across from the property and some great local restaurants nearby. It's about a 15 minute walk or so to the Dotonbori area...we would walk there during the day and taxi back at night. The front doors are locked between 12am-5am which I appreciated and they give you a code to open it. We felt very safe and we would definitely stay here again. We also were able to sign into our Netflix, Disney , YouTube, etc. on their TVs. The only negative side is the floors seem on the thinner side. I could hear the people above us walking and tried to be careful walking quietly for the people below us.
- Elaine (10/5): - Everything was excellent.
- Peter (10/5): - Our room was very clean, modern and spacious. The room layout was more practical than the other hotels we stayed in while in Japan. All the staff were super friendly. We would stay here again without hesitation.
- Brianna (10/5): - Place was great—might’ve been my favorite property we stayed at the whole trip. The place was very clean, looked new. There were toiletries and such that they have at the front desk counter and you’re free to grab whatever you may need or like before heading up to your room. The room was neat, had an a/c unit and washer-dryer unit.
The hotel is about an 8-minute walk to the Daikokucho, and a 20-something minute walk to Dotonbori. Not bad unless your feet are already hurting. But the good thing is there’s a 7-11 right around the corner!
The staff were extremely kind and communicative. They even noticed a couple of us taking photos outside at check-out and offered to take a group photo for us!
- Yu Yan (10/5): Excellent stay at MONday! - The stay was amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very clean. Location is good, close to main tourist areas and subway stations. We will definitely stay at MONday again.
- Che Keung (8/5): Stay for short trip is great - Room is big, staffs at front desk are very professional and nice.
the location is a bit far from namba station, it take about 10 mins walk.
- Andreia (8/5): Newer property, clean rooms - Nice property, clean rooms. Sandi at then front desk was helpful with information about the area, food recommendations, etc. Just a heads up, you can’t control the air in your room. It got quite warm so I had to open the windows. Luckily it provided a nice breeze.
- Melissa (10/5): - This place was amazing. We booked 3 nights on short notice after our homeward bound flights were cancelled. We got a large family room and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. We had the sofa beds made up to give the kids their own beds. The in room washing machine was a godsend for the extra days holiday we were not expecting to have. The staff were the best and so happy to accommodate and make sure your stay was good. This place was amazing to stay at.
- Theodore (10/5): - This was perfect for our family! Staff was extremely friendly and our room was awesome. Thanks for everything!
- erwin (8/5): - Property was brand new with washer in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only downside is the distance to nearest train station is around 500-600m or 10 min walking to Namba. Also, no luggage delivery service was available at the hotel at that time.
- Anthony (10/5): - It was amazing, stayed with 5 people and they helped around with everything.
- Sheila (10/5): - It's a new hotel. The location is in between 2 stations so you can choose base on where you want to go or which one's convenient for you. A few steps away from Namba Shrine, convenient store and Cat Cafe. It was a nice area, quiet for a night sleep after a long shopping and sightseeing day. Everything is accessible and very easy to go anywhere. Staff are extremely helpful, lovely and friendly even with little English, they will try their best to help. Loved the washing machine and dryer, we have the supplies we need for our stay. We'll stay here again if we go back to Osaka. They are also very responsive if you email them with luggage storage before check in and accommodating for storage after check out, we were able to go out for a bit to eat lunch before catching our train to our next destination. Thank you Monday Osaka Namba West team. We enjoyed our stay.
- YUN FAT (10/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): - Fantastic and large space for our family of four in the Grand Family Room which included a separate bedroom with two double beds and a large living room with a massive modular couch which also serves as beds. Separate bath and laundry.
Modern and new given it just opened (Dec 24?). Generally well considered apartment design and friendly 24 hr reception. The location is good but just a 12min walk to Namba station which is slightly further than you may typically expect in Japan. But Namba is a good station to be close to. Was also great value noting we benefitted from a significant discounted price.
- Tyler (10/5): - Very spacious, nice and helpful staff, clean, good amenities.
- Divini (10/5): - Love the amenities provided like washing machines inside the room, microwave etc
