- Cheryl (4/5): - Arrived at desk at 5PM to couple on 1st floor reporting room just assigned to them had "soaking wet carpeting and several fans running while smelling of urine", and a 2nd couple reporting "stained sheets and 3 bugs" in their room upon their arrival. Per desk clerk all rooms had been booked so unsure of resolution by management. Window in front door was dirty. Our 2 queen bed room had no coffee maker, no cups or glasses, no clock, no phone, no comfortable seating, stained dingy wash cloths. Pillows were poor and breakfast options limited. AC and fan, shower and hairdryer worked well and it was quiet, but overall a poor value and we will never return.

They put us in another room that had a bad odor, Many rooms near us had barking dogs. The continental breakfast consist of cereal, a few bagel and a few muffins, There was not enough to accommodate the guest. If you are not down there by 7am when they put the food out-You will not have anything. The elevator is sketchy and extremely loud, We thought we were going to get stuck a few times.

(I can see that it is vacuumed often but needs a good cleaning or perhaps it should be replaced. 4. Ran out of breakfast foods such as coffee, butter, creamer and milk, etc... 5. The bedding seems clean however, it looks old and worn. 6. There weren't enough towels for 2 people. We were told that guests had been stealing them, so they're aren't enough. (How about buying new ones?) 7. Upon entering the room for the first time, I realized that there was a bath towel that was damp and had a hugh stain on it. I must say that the staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, I also noticed that there is not enough staff. The morning manager was running around doing all the jobs by himself. I had a few more issues but I think I've said enough to make you understand.

The room was clean enough- bed was clean- entry floors had a few spots and could have used a mop upon entry. The location was out of the city enough it felt pretty safe.

Noisy hallways & we could hear lots of room noise above us. I don't understand why Hilton would want to associate with this establishment. Not only would we not stay here again but I seriously would reconsider staying at Hilton Hotel.

- Alan (10/5): - The property had just been updated October 2024. It was very clean. The bed that we had was somewhat hard though. The room was very clean. However, it was very basic. There was not a coffee pot, or an ice bucket, or even drinking cups. There was coffee in the lobby though. They did not have the small sizes of the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. They did have larger bottles that were attached to the wall by the sink, and also attached to the shower wall. This was more convenient than having the tiny bottles. Overall, we really like this property. We will definitely stay again.
- Cherise (10/5): Super clean - Very clean hotel. Close to the expressway depending on what side of the hotel you are on. Nothing turning major just turn up the tv a bit. Excellent service from the front desk representative Steven. Basic breakfast, but free breakfast is free breakfast. Only thing I didn’t like was house keeping knocking on my door at 9:45am asking if I’m checking out when checkout time is noon. Air conditioning a little on the noisier side but could be the room I was in. Other than that every thing super clean. Walking distance to a gas station to run and get snacks and also a McDonalds
- Katelyn (2/5): Don’t go - From the moment we walked in the floors were filthy, and sticky. The elevator floor had filth caked in the corners, but it looked like the floor had been mopped with dirty water and left to dry- and it smelled. We go to our room and my 4yr old plugged his nose and said it stinks. I believe the floors were damp and musty as my socks became wet if I walked on the floor. There was a nicotine pouch stuck to the wall. The air conditioner didn’t work and was loud on and off all night. I turned the bathroom fan on and the air circulating reeked of weed. Some of my neighbors forgot they were in a hotel and kept us up most of the night. When I checked out the staff was apologetic and gave me point for a free night stay- but you couldn’t pay me to go back.

Noon I left and came back at 10 AM and my room had already been cleaned and the general manager Steven Poelman informed me that just because checkout is at 12 that doesn’t mean they start cleaning rooms at 12. They start cleaning rooms at 9 AM and I did not inform them that I was leaving overnight and I should have told the front desk that I was leaving for a few hours and coming back when I asked where does that state at in a policy he told me it was common sense. All my belongings was taken out of the room and when I asked where my things were, he said he doesn’t know things end up escalating. I called the police to retrieve my things and I still did not get all my belongings. Don’t stay here unless you want you privacy invaded!!!

I am not real sure, but I think that maybe the air conditioner was making banging noises all night, and our window in our hotel room was cracked. But the thing that worried me was when I was checking out, a patron was complaining to the checkout clerk, that one of the side entry doors was open all night. He claimed that at midnight, he had told one of the staff about it, and he found that the door was still ajar when he woke in the morning, He claimed the staff never fixed the unsafe problem.

No hot breakfast provided and can’t take food to your room to eat per front desk staff and sign in lobby. Bathroom not very clean, don’t recommend the community hygiene products. Pool appeared nice.
- Melissa (2/5): Cockroaches-bugs - Had to leave at 1am the first night of our stay because of cockroaches. The girl was new and didn’t know how to help, manager wouldn’t answer the phone. Told me they would cover extra cost of a room at another Hilton hotel, but that wasn’t true. They then charged my card 3x over the next 3 days, almost $900, then told me it was only 2x and that they were being nice by refunding me at all, because they don’t refund if you book through 3rd party, and to call my bank. When I called back to tell them it actually is 3x, they stopped answering the phone. The place is also filled w mold, that they cover w paint. You can smell it as soon as you walk in the room. The carpet was so dirty, my socks were grey. I was expecting more from a Hilton hotel. I’m afraid to bring my luggage inside my house, afraid to bring bugs in. Also random people hanging out by the front door. I wouldn’t have left a review, if they would have handled it different. This ruined by whole weekend, I had to drive 2 hrs back home and then back the next morning, ruined my experience that we were looking forward to all summer

- Kristy (6/5): Not kid-friendly - The room was clean, which I appreciated, but several issues made our stay frustrating. The toilet would only flush if you held the handle down until everything went down. The tub stopper didn’t work, which was a big problem with two six-year-olds who needed baths after a day at the waterpark. The front desk told me none of the tubs in the entire hotel work, and there were no rooms available with a functioning tub. The door to our room wouldn’t latch unless slammed, and breakfast was disappointing just bagels, cereal, and muffins, with the yogurt machine out of order despite the hotel’s advertised breakfast. While the cleanliness was a plus, the lack of basic functioning amenities and misleading advertising made the overall stay disappointing.
- Anita (8/5): - The property/room was nice & clean & i liked the bottles attached to wall instead of the little bottles you normally get. Very hot water in room. However there was no ice bucket in rooms & wish they offered a little better variety for breakfast. They focus to much on bagels & only had 3 different choices.

- robin (8/5): Awesome stay for the right price - I loved the big bathroom. The shower was awesome! The room was clean. The 3rd shift attendant was super cool. We were bobtailing to pick up a 53' construction work trailer at a job site. She accommodated us with no problem parking our semi ,and a smile and a joke to boot. The continental breakfast was just right. Bagels, muffins and cereal. Fresh hot folgers coffee. Ice cold milk ,oj and apple juice. And last but certainly not least, we were hooking up the trailer about 2 mile down the road, i get a phone call from the hotel. The man tells me that i had left a bag in the dining area. I couldn't think of what that cpuld have been. I double checked the room and decided it must be someone elses. Come to find out, it was my purse that had my drivers license, medical card and other important articles. I was very thankful they called especially when they did. because we were headed to benton harbor to drop the trailer off and head back home to fayette ohio.

- Amy (2/5): Filthy and Need of Repair - We chose to stay here because it was a Hilton hotel. Unfortunately, this was the worst Hilton hotel I've stayed. The property appeared in disrepair. The paint was chipped and peeling, it seemed there was a mechanical issue with the elevator, and the common areas were not air conditioned in July. When we opened the door to our room, we were immediately hit with the smell of smoke. I contacted the front desk and asked for a different room or refund and was told that was not possible. If these things weren't bad enough, there were dried buggers on the bathroom wall and hairs in the shower. Overall, this hotel is filthy, mismanaged, and in need of maintenance.

- Joey (6/5): Card hold not advertised, rude when disputing - I explained I was not advised of the card hold and had no card at the moment to put it on. Desk was uncaring even when I said I couldn’t get a refund in time and would end up in my car. Sorry with a smile. Only after I pressed and stated I had already paid in for for the room did she say Ok Ok rudely, slide a card across and flatly say room number X breakfast at … have a nice night. As monotone as possible.

- Lynn (8/5): - I thought the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Our family loved it that the pool was open late and the breakfast was available until 10. The single negative thing was the crowd gathered outside after dark at the picnic/seating area. They were loud and intimidating and trashed the entire area with cigarette butts and food wrappers, bottles. I felt there was not enough staff to confront/control this group .
- Chris (4/5): Should Have Started At Holliday Inn - Stayed three days, no room service. Had to go to front desk for towels and TP. No coffee in room, first day no cream for coffee. Breakfast offering were very poor, we ate out. Had to ring bell at front desk to get attention of attendant.

- Gary (2/5): Stay far away - Disgusting. The musty odor in our room was almost unbearable. We were on the first floor and there were a half dozen big holes in the privacy curtain. I asked for a replacement and was told there wasn't one available. Then there was hardly any food available at breakfast. Surprised that Hilton puts their name on this sorry place.
- Amber (4/5): - This hotel was not clean. They had beetles on the coffee stand. The sheets had an old red stain probably from some type of blood which is gross and unsanitary. The breakfast was lacking just some cereal and bagels and minimal fruit (not well stocked either)! After complaining when things went wrong to the front desk they called manager and said I’d get a refund I never heard anything about that and had to reach out myself days later.

- Brian (2/5): - Booked a king bed through Expedia, but when I arrived, the hotel said none were available and offered two queens instead. I declined and asked for a refund, they told me to contact Expedia. Expedia called them to approve the refund, and the hotel refused. They claimed the listing showing a king bed wasn’t their fault. To make matters worse, the front desk staff, especially Laurie, was rude and dismissive, acting like I was the problem. Poor service and zero accountability. Based on the most recent reviews, I’ve read, this is a continual problem for them On top of other issues you will read about.

- Joshua (2/5): - Staff entered our room to clean before we had checked out (and over an hour before checkout time) they threw away our leftovers from our anniversary dinner. Staff was rude, dismissive, implied we should still eat the food that had been in the trash, and offered no solution at all. Never been treated so unprofessionally at a hotel.
