Guest Reviews
- Frederick (10/5): - Great old place
- Joe (10/5): - Cute little hotel in downtown Paguitch. Front desk was very helpful and the room was clean and adequate for our one night stay. Very good dining options close by along with a grocery store a block away.
- JANE (10/5): - Very quiet, large room.
- Jill (10/5): - This motel is outdated but well kept up for its age. It was very clean and the outside was well kept up. Even had real flowers growing outside each of the room entrance doors. I would definitely stay there again and the price was perfect.
- Suixi (10/5): - The best motel we ever stayed in. Room very clean, staff is polite/helpful, and check in and check out are simple.
- Sally (10/5): - I recommend staying here. It was comfortable and close enough for us to Bryce Canyon. Plus the owner, Cheryl is a very nice person. 😀
- Erica (10/5): - From check in to check out it was easy and smooth sailing. The rooms were clean and had everything you’d need fora comfortable stay. An easy drive to Bruce Canyon National Park. A great restaurant right next door, and 10% off breakfast at that restaurant for staying at the motel. Wanderlust Cowgirl Coffee had great coffee and breakfast options. The motel provided free laundry on site after 5pm, which was extremely convenient to wash hiking staples. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit.
- Michael (8/5): - It was nice. Panguitch was a disappointment.
- Minda (8/5): - Clean room. Hotel is older. Shutters were a little difficult to keep closed. Nicely appointed. Don’t hesitate to stay.
- Stephen (8/5): - Though motel is old, it is clean and comfortable. Convenient location to Bryce Canyon.
- J Kimball Hansen (10/5): - Great place to stay in Panguitch. Wonderful staff.
- Matt (10/5): Gem of a Motel - This is a gem of a motel in a small town, and it was a good place to rest and relax after a long day of driving. The room was very clean and comfortable.
- Peter (10/5): - We went Bryce Canyon
- Kristine (10/5): - We arrived early from a long drive. Even though check was at 3:00, the helpers/maids graciously cleaned a room and allowed us to check in early. Very gracious and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
- Susan (8/5): - Convenient to National Park. Interesting small town history. Owner was friendly and helped us with directions to our next destination. Very accommodating.
- Alexander (10/5): - Very very clean
- krissa (10/5): - Older hotel but extremely clean, very friendly and helpful front desk staff
- Fred (10/5): Excellent owner operated small town motel - The Blue Pines is a well maintained motel, cleaner and more comfortable than the big chains we have stayed at. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower spotless. Excellent location next door to the Cowboy smokehouse restaurant for dinner, and The Flying Goat for breakfast across the street.
- riccardo (8/5): Good stay - Motel curato e molto pulito. L'arredo della camera è essenziale e gradevole. Personale molto gentile.
- Michael (10/5): - Good location with several dining options within a block.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Older style unit, but nicely done. Flower pots by doors were very welcoming. Free laundry to guests
- Bang (8/5): - I don’t like the way they arranged the beds, just right at door.
- Dennis (10/5): - Wonderful stay.
- Richard (10/5): - Feels like home!
- Jessica (10/5): Nice place to catch some sleep while road tripping - This was our last hotel stay on a cross country road trip. After several weeks on the road, I was looking for affordable/nice and this fit the bill. It’s a motel so it’s not a 5 star resort by any means but that’s not what I was looking for. I wanted clean, comfortable, affordable and close to my destination for that portion of my trip and it was all of that at the bargain price of roughly $100.
There’s a smokehouse across the street that offers good food and the room had seating options for my college kid to work on homework while we had wifi.
We were there maybe 10 hours total - basically to shower / sleep and move on.
- David (10/5): - Great staff, great location
- Shachar (6/5): - Very basic motel. The location is near restaurants. The TV didn't work. A lot of parking. Great if you visit Bryce park
- Trevor (8/5): Great little place to stop. - Nice little motel. The only issue we had was that the water in the sink wouldn't get very hot, but the shower was really nice and hot. Beds were nice. Staff gave us extra towels without us asking.
- Brenda (10/5): - Small room but very affordable and clean. Great staff and convenient for loading and unloading.
- WILLIAM (10/5): - A unique lodging experience, comfortable, quie, easy walk to great restaurants, family owned and operated since 1903. These folks know how to make guests feel at home.
- Joseph (8/5): - Comfortable room
- Paul (10/5): - Great place. Clean room, amazing staff. Highly recommended!
- Paul (10/5): - Panguitch, Utah is such a cool little town and the Blue Pine Motel fits the vibe perfectly. The room was perfect, we stayed in the family suite. The service was so friendly and intentional. BONUS: Check out Gem Theatre across the street. Their ice cream is awesome and its a cool place to hang out.
- Lloyd (10/5): - Nice place for good price.
- Mark (10/5): - Q
- Ching (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and willing to assist us. The room is super clean. The price is very good for such nice room
- Tara (10/5): - The Blue Pine was the perfect place for our two night stay to see Bryce Canyon. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and walking distance to everything we needed in the charming pioneer town of Panguitch. Staff were helpful and friendly.
- Matthew (2/5): Keep your word - Got it—here’s an updated version with that detail included:

I booked this stay for a wedding and confirmed a late checkout for 1pm ahead of time. On the day of departure, at 11:30am, while I was in the shower, someone started aggressively banging on my door. When I answered, I was yelled at to be out in 10 minutes or I’d be charged. I tried to explain that I had a confirmed late checkout, but the woman wouldn’t listen. I had to throw my things together and leave to finish getting ready at a family member’s room at a different location. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and completely unprofessional. If you confirm a late checkout, you should honor it. I won’t be returning.
- Shimul (10/5): - Stayed one night—great value for the price! The washroom was clean and well-maintained. Also appreciated having two gas stations nearby—very convenient!
- Leslie (8/5): - Our stay was nice. The room was clean. We had to request extra towels as we were only given two for a double queen room. This hotel was ok but is definitely dated. If you’re looking for small town and basic, this is the place for you. It wasn’t the property owners’ fault but there was a parade of police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances that work us up at 11pm escorting the local track team champions home. It scared us to death to be woke up to sirens that sounded like they were at the hotel parking lot. Again, there’s nothing the hotel could do about that. It was hard to go back to sleep after being rattled like that. The restaurant next door had good food but didn’t seem to have enough staff. The wait was long and service was subpar. Otherwise our stay was good on our way to Bryce.
- Brett (8/5): - As advertised
- Jill (10/5): - The staff were incredibly kind and provided us with a fee recommendations for the area. Beautiful town as well
- Amanda (10/5): - Brought my kids here for a quick Mother’s Day trip to Bryce. Clean, great location, and I loved how there was a separate room for one of the 3 beds so I could pass out while my kids giggled 😂
- Michael (10/5): - This is an older place that has been very well maintained. I believe the owner is also the front desk person. He was very welcoming, professional, and helpful. They're is a nice restaurant next door and a small cafe a couple of buildings away.
- Suhas (10/5): - The rooms are very clean and homely. A great place to stay after a long journey.
- Peggy (10/5): - Proprietor was very nice. Room was clean. Could’ve used an additional blanket or thicker bedspread as temps outside and inside were chilly. Easy check-in and check-out.
- Karen (10/5): - It was very clean and the people were extremely nice.
- barb (10/5): - Great place to stay! Very friendly owner
- Damien (8/5): - Older style Motel but clean, calm, charming. We had a great stay.
- Bill (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable.
- Monique (10/5): - This place is a gem! Quiet, clean and friendly front desk service! After a full 6 hours of driving, loved the fact that we could just cross the street and enjoy the Cowboy Smokehouse! We also enjoyed walking on the Main Street where the motel is located!
- gustavo (10/5): - Perfect to rest and near Bryce Canyon
