Guest Reviews
- Dennis (6/5): - The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by the building next door and this is where you need to go to collect the key.
- Jonathan (6/5): Mostly good - Overall very nice accommodation and the shuttle driver was very nice. However, whoever actually manages the property really needs to do better with communication. The day of my arrival I was still trying to figure out how to actually get to and check into the property since no instructions were provided. I had to try to contact them multiple times and also had to reach out to hotels.com multiple times. I’ve been to Japan to snowboard before, I don’t need my hand held. However, traveling internationally is stressful enough and I want to know when I arrive at my destination that I’ll be able to get into the accommodation that I paid for and relax. Not walk around with a bunch of luggage/gear, hoping that I can get in at some point. In the end, I was able to access the accommodation without issue but again, communication is not that hard. All I needed was a message explaining the procedure and how to access the accommodation and I didn’t get that info until just before arriving.
- Carlo (10/5): - It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location.
