The bartender was very good at his job, too bad they were out of most of their beers on draft. They didn’t even have can or bottles for back up. The AC, had a fan option which helped with the quietness of the woods. The only thing that was a problem for us was their pre-check website didn’t recognize our travel number, and it was quite a ways off the road making us believe we had missed it. Once we found it, it was great. Also, our flight was delayed so we got there late.

We stayed here because we were catching a guided fishing boat at Drano Lake early the next morning and needed somewhere close. They were definitely understaffed in the restaurant when we went at 11am for brunch and were out of two things we wanted to order. The coffee shop was excellent, both for oat milk and matcha lattes. The place is dated, but it is clean and it is a great price for access to the mineral water. The rooms had minimal amenities, but we brought everything we needed. My one complaint was the pillows are over stuffed and they didn’t have other options. We will definitely be back because it’s a great weekend getaway.

- kevin (6/5): Parking lot view - We booked a room with a hot tub on the deck with a forest view, and once we got to the view was of the parking lot. Checked with the front desk and they said all the forest view were of parking lot views. Supposedly the wording is being changed? The hot tub was fine . The actual pool area, and sauna area was amazing and will go back for that. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT! The waitress was amazing but the meal was the worst of my 62 years. The steak was the only thing done right. How can you mess up mashed potatoes? I thought they gave me grits because they were brown with so much butter and the same consistency. I honestly hate being negative, because the spa area was really nice. We will come back but book a standard room and go for the spa and not eat on premise.

The links will work their way out and they will be more stronger! Everyone was super nice, coffee cafe was yummy and nice to purchase things still once they were not staffed but the front desk. We had a couples massage and my husband said it was one of the best massages he has had in a long time.

The food in the on site restaurant was fantastic. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed having such a large private covered patio. Top notch!

We had two large bugs in the room which my daughter killed. and there was small pieces of paper in the the top dresser drawer. I would have appreciated a glass in the bathroom. The pools were crystal-clear, and the jacuzzi was fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the surrounding nature is stunning, with a scenic dam and beautiful hiking trails. We did one hike, and it was amazing! It’s a place we’ll definitely return to.

- Tessarae (8/5): - This is a great property tucked away and surrounded by beautiful mountains and greenery. The hotel is slightly dated but still beautiful. Lots of gorgeous wood paneling, loves the staircase and relaxing lobby. Convenient coffe bar downstairs that also had light breakfast options. We ordered food to go for breakfast and dinner. Food was good. We got the pork schnitzel for dinner and we’re really happy! The bar was great too. The drinks and bartender was amazing. We also got a jacuzzi on our balcony which was so relaxing. Bed was comfortable, a/c in the room worked great, mini fridge was good, tv was good and the bathrooms were clean. We got a rollaway bed that was comfortable too. The food is a little pricey. $4 for a croissant, $4.50 for a cookie and as a bit excessive. The pool was perfect. However, not a fan of the adult swim from 8-10pm. Entitled adults harassed us for being in the pool at 7:30. It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. Wish that never happened to me and my family as it ruined our time and made my children feel unwelcome. We would like to come back but not sure we will if they don’t change the pool rules. All guests ahould feel welcome and not scared of being harassed by other people. It was an unfortunate interaction.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Beautiful property. We stayed for just one night but the mineral spa on our deck was a nice end to a long drive day. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. The night we were there a small fire broke out in the laundry facilities and we were evacuated at 12:30 am. The staff handled it as well as they could and we were safely back in within 30 minutes. Even after that eventful night we would still gladly return and relax.

The main outside sitting area is totally taken up by the restaurant and our group had to scavenge chairs and bring our own to sit outside. Crazy for a hotel of this size.

- Amber (10/5): - The hotel was so pretty surrounded by the woods and the fireplace in the lobby was stunning! The pool and sauna was incredible and the rooms were big and bed was comfortable. Staff was so friendly and their cafe made yummy lattes! Will definitely come back multiple times!

- Keith (2/5): - The lodge is situated in a friendly, serene area; however, at 8:00 AM (08.05.2025), a chainsaw crew arrived and started cutting down a tree right outside our room. The staff did not provide any information or a polite warning about this disturbance, which was quite disruptive for a restful spa experience. The food and dining experience were below average. While dining in the outdoor courtyard, we were disturbed by a group of people playing a loud game of cornhole right behind us. I suggest relocating the game to a grassy area where it would be more appropriate. The food was cold, and the service was mediocre. The breakfast was undercooked, cold, and tasteless. I recommend training and experienced staff to assist newcomers. The training seemed inadequate, and the staff did not perform well.
