Guest Reviews
- Katelyn (2/5): - The lady at the front desk was rude and the room was filthy.
- Tiffany (2/5): - My husband showed up and said that the pictures were extremely misleading. He rated
- Adam (2/5): - This was one of the most dirtiest nastiest hotels I've ever stayed in.
- Brady (2/5): - this was a very unsafe property that I feared for my families well being the whole night.
- Verified traveler (4/5): I'm just being honest - Nowhere on this app does it say anything about a deposit of $60 that is questionably refundable, they tell you as you're kind of forced to pay it are you are SOL if you already booked and paid through hotels.com that your deposit if everything goes well on your end should be refunded to your original payment method as soon as you check out 11am But here it is 6:30 p.m the day of checkout and I yet to get my returned deposit ,the people at the window weren't the kindest to say the least. The motel is for lack of better words disgusting and sketchy from the parking lot to the Halls leading to your room are very iffy and kind of scary. If I'm being honest there are numerous night workers if you know what I mean, walking throughout the whole property. Just a place I definitely want to return to. Are spend my money. Which is unfortunate because the property in the placement of the hotel has amazing potential if they clean cleaned up and I guess cared a little bit more about the experience that the customer is going to have.
- Crysta (2/5): - Honestly i just needed this as a last minute 1 night stay so i already had very low expectations. Honestly the bar fell even lower that i could have possibly imagined. Very unsafe. Very dirty. Not even an ice machine on the premises when its clearly in the pictuer. No ac. No smoke detectors. Broken door. Very very bad location
- Tracey (2/5): - The area was very shady. We found drug users, pimps, and prostitution out front. Our booking with Expedia didn’t say for adults only. I had my two grandchildren with me. And the place said for adults only. The listing is deceiving. I want a refund. Checked into the Holiday Inn down the street.
- Chris (6/5): - I’m going to say positive first. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean and had hot, warm and cold water. Now checking in required a deposit ( there are NO services) and no deposit was listed on expedia. The front desk is not accessible so it’s funny that’s the photo on website. Reception is through a slot in the window All Times. But the craziest was one pillow was a pillow case with a paper bag full of synthetic quilt filling. I can’t really mention the other guests and what they were doing for business “at the hotel” but I think it’s only legal in Nevada and Netherlands. Parking lot is dirty with litter and junk and actual dirt. Front office had a wooden pallet leaning against it
- Kenneth (2/5): Do not stay here unless you no other option - This was a seedy, low vibe hotel, where after i got there i felt safer at the airport and they never gave me my deposit back. Only stay here if you have no other option.
- Teri (6/5): - Its is ok for a super limited budget but I left a day early and won't be back. The family that runs it is very nice and the room was clean... it's just not a good neighborhood. Air conditioner worked well but There's no furniture in the room beside bed and TV stand, no chair or anywhere to sit.
- John (2/5): This hotel is really bad! - The Neighborhood is unsafe. The hotel Parking lot is unsafe, and very dirty. The Hotel Hallways are dirty and smell bad. The room was dirty. The airconditioning did not work well. The TV Remote control did not work. The Bathroom sink only dispensed extremely hot water. The staff was unfriendly and demanding. I recommend hotels.com to discontinue association with this hotel
- kerry (10/5): - I stay at this Hotel a lot and Everytime I have an amazing experience very clean newly remodeled excellent for the price ... definitely can't beat the price ...when I am in the room it fills like I am at the Hilton
- kerry (10/5): - Stayed here again once again highly satisfied....
- Luis (2/5): - Stay away! Terrible area with working prostitutes and not so discreet strip club sex clubs; unsafe rooms with 2 inch gap under the doors-anyone can use a hanger to open your door or use a mirror to spy; bedding and towels stained or unwashed from previous user. This hotel was in a residential area and clearly unsafe with police rolling through the property at checkout, a man was apparently robbed. Other guests slamming doors all night long. Yelling and screaming all night long with a domestic duspute. Inside the gated hotel parking area, there was what appeared a chop shop with a man spray painting the hood of his car. Car alarms going off at night but too scared to go see if it was my rental. This property needs to be removed from Expedia. No one should have endurred a night like that.
- ALVIN (2/5): - The only saving grace to this place was that the room itself that I rented looked exactly as the picture. But outside the room prostitutes were walking around in thong underwear. There were drug sales and prostitution propositions all over the place and the outside grounds were dirty. There was no security other than cameras and the staff were extremely rude and uncaring
- Carlee (2/5): - Made the mistake of staying here as I had an early flight out of PDX, absolutely terrible. The room was dirty across the board, with pillows and blinds covered in splatters and stains, scalding hot water coming out of the sink, so hot if you held your hands under it you would probably sustain burns. I didn’t even end up washing my face or hands in the night I stayed. I was approached and taunted in the brief 3 minutes I was in the parking lot. As a solo female traveler, this was extremely unnerving, and I do not recommend staying here if you are solo and female.
- Ian Darrel (6/5): - Its okay. Had a great sleep.
- Zina (4/5): - You can’t really trust the house keepers, when I left the property they entered my room and took stuff!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Want my refund please!!!!!!! - I WISH I WAS ABLE TO TELL BECAUSE I NEVER STAYED IN IT AND I STILL HAVENT GOT A REFUND I BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR DAYS I NEED MY REFUND I KEEP CALLING AND GETTING THE RUN AROUND. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I DID NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL
- Roman (2/5): - There were tons of prostitutes. The pictures are not what you get and it’s in one of the most unsafe areas.
- kerry (10/5): - I love this place. I have stayed here several times, and every time, I’ve had a great experience. The hot water is reliable, the rooms are super clean, and honestly, for the price, you can’t beat the value.
I’ve also stayed at the Hyatt, which costs about four times as much, and the rooms were very similar. I will definitely be staying at Evergreen more often — the price and quality can’t be matched.
The front desk staff are friendly and professional; I’ve never had an issue. Also, the receptionist at the front is gorgeous, which is a nice bonus!
- Sonia (2/5): - The ourside of the.places really nasty dog crap on the outside of building hall way dirty floors dirty inside roomstay 2 day did not come to change towels or replace toilet paper till i asked after 6pm and they just give my clean towels and toilet papar
- Erion (2/5): - Roaches and bed bugs
- kerry (10/5): -
Five Stars – Exceptional Value and Comfort
I've stayed in motels all over the world and have paid high prices for rooms of varying quality—but I must say, I'm truly impressed by the value I received at Evergreen Inn. I've rented a room here at least seven times in the past month, and every single stay has exceeded my expectations.
Each room I've stayed in was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—so much so that at times, I felt like I was staying at the Hilton. It's clear that the staff at Evergreen Inn take great pride in the quality and care of their rooms.
For the price I paid, the experience was honestly unmatched. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a clean, peaceful place to stay without breaking the bank. Well done, Evergreen Inn!

- Keenan (2/5): Do not go here - Horrible hotel used as prostitution and drug ring. Was terrified to park my car in the parking lot. Felt very uncomfortable tgrough the entire stay. Room smelled of cat urine and the beds had plastic sheets
- Jeffery (6/5): Mediocre at best - Reasons that im giving a 3 star review is:
Because the was nothing posted about a $60 deposit in addition to room rate.
Our refrigerator was not working and had to be replaced. It was taken care of, but it took most of the day to accomplish. When I went to the window to ask about the refrigerator, I stood at the window while the manager ignored me, as well as other paying customers, for over 20 min. Because he was on a phone call with his family.
Room was clean, but floor had not been mopped before we arrived. The entire 1st floor smelt of Marijuana smoke, and the rules regarding smoking was not enforced according to state law.
Finally, there was nothing posted about 11am checkout, and we lost half of our deposit since we weren't out of the room before 11AM.
Overall, a decent place, a little high on price, no customer service, and lack of communication on policies (deposit, check-out). Not certain that ill return, but I won't necessarily avoid it.
- Sunil (4/5): - The lady who checked us in was professional and nice. However the outside of the property is quite run down and seemed unsafe though the lady assured us that they had CC TV cameras all around. The shower area was dirty (full of hair from previous guests), towels had stains, only 2 bath towels for 3 people. We asked for extra bath towel and it was the size of the hand towel. There is no place in the bathroom to keep the soap or anything else. We checked out early due to early flights (3:30 am checkout) and there were people who were drinking in the parking. One person was loiterning around talking on phone. Will not stay in this property again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nightmare Roach Motel No Safe - This place is not as described it is a nightmare, like a brothel with addicts everywhere of you are a woman uou are not safe here, the men who work here just sneak in your room even with security lock and make a weird excuse. It’s also extremely filthy, feces on the counter, trash everywhere, bed bugs, the biggest roaches I have ever seen! All the good reviews are completely fake amd they stole deposit and I didn’t even stay there or sleep in the room.
- Anthony (2/5): Beware scammers!!! - We booked a room showed up to check in and they said they had no rooms. Our credit card had already been charged. And now they say there was 8 rooms available. And won't refund our money!!! Crappy customer service could t even speak English!
- Allen (2/5): Don’t stay here. Ever! - When I arrived in the afternoon lobby doors locked and serviced from sliding window. Homeless and drug users in and around property. Appears some long term residents live here. Trash in stairwell. The room smelled of cat feces and the dander triggered my allergies. I immediately left and did not return. Called the motel and left a message. They never returned my call.
- Michael (2/5): - There were seven stains and public hair in the bed. Ask for new sheets to change the bed and the manager did give them and disagreed with me about the bed being dirty, I tried showing him the video and he did not want to see it.
- Irene (2/5): - I cringe to even give this place one stare. Charged me $50 for key. I had 3 $20;s, he took it, said because there was 2 guests the charge was $60. The room stunk & was filthy, I mean filth! I would have left but I prepaid & money is tight. I went bought cleaning & disinfectant products. Think before using this place. I told desk person, was told that should be told to cleaning person NOT her!!! Looked & sounded kind of looked like they rented rooms by hour (?). Not a nice place,I should of taken pictures but was so upset didn't even think too.
- Liliana (2/5): - Sketchy area and dirty room
- Amber (6/5): - No pool even tho one is advertised. Shower curtain had holes, bathroom exhaust fan was so dirty and caked up it didnt
- William (2/5): - The television did not work. And went to go take a shower and the handle completely broke off could not take a shower before i left.
- Louis (2/5): - Never st
- Natalie (8/5): - The price justifies the property
- Danielle (2/5): - The place is haunted! I'll never stay there again, nor will i ever recommend it to anyone.
- Kysha (10/5): - Good services, and nice peoples
- Phebe (2/5): - Not a place for family.
- kerry (10/5): - Really nice rooms super clean great staff .
- maritza (2/5): - It was completely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at
- Daniel (4/5): Not pleasant - Room wasn’t clean, stained sheets, slummy.
- Jared (6/5): - It felt more like a slum that had the interior remodeled. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything. The entrance is narrow. The exterior of the buildings is awful. You cannot enter the lobby to checkin, you have to use a walk up window and it is almost impossible to hear the attendant.
- Gregory (4/5): - only could get 1 key for 3 occupants, no luggage's carts. messy parking area.
- Chad (10/5): - It was very clean
- Jess (2/5): - My partner and I felt very unsafe here. The motel is located in quite an unsafe area of town. The room felt dirty and the toilet was constantly flushing on its own. We decided not to stay here for the night as we felt too unsafe. We tried to ask for a refund upon check out but the staff would not allow a refund. I’m not usually one to post a review but I feel like this was not a good experience that it is worth letting others know.
- Danielle (2/5): - This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked 2 nights and barely stayed one took the loss on the second night . The whole place smelled like poop, Never again
- Heather (10/5): - Room was nice easy check in deposit not paid back to my card yet!
- Meghan (2/5): - Expedia needs to take them off their website. This hotel is a predatory trap! Before I realized my room door didn’t lock, I was shocked to see the tile in the bathroom was ripped up. The bedsheets were stained and the room smelt of mold. I could hear everyone and everything in the hall and the rooms next to mine.
This 'hotel' doesnt even have a front lobby. Its in such an unsafe area that the staff have to assist you through a window like youre in jail. The employee was horrible and when I told him I needed a refund since I felt unsafe, he just rolled his eyes at me and muttered something I couldn't hear through the window he was behind.
I could go on more, but Expedia really needs to take 5 minutes to use Google maps to see juat how horrible this area is and take it off their website.
- Kathy (8/5): - My room was spacious and clean.
- Derek (2/5): - Slow check in and required an unexpected additional deposit rendering the low rate moot. Toilet didn't flush. Got bed bug bites, even fell out of the unsafe shower because the floor had no mat or grip. Felt unsafe. Condom wrappers in hallway, noises all hours of the night, prostitutes lurking in the parking lot.
- Jessica (6/5): - Not a safe area for a single woman
- Trever (2/5): - It was trashy hookers literally in the parking lot crack heads knocking on my door at 3a.m. I left after 4hrs and neither them or Expedia has done anything to get my my money back
- James (2/5): - My cousin called the hotel for directions, he did not have his hearing aids in and the desk clerk was hard to understand. They got into an argument and the clerk told him not to come to the hotel because he cancelled the reservation.
- Enas (4/5): - 😔
- Dinesh reddy (10/5): - Good
- kerry (8/5): - I stayed in room 222 and it was super clean everything worked great newly remodeled bed well made.. deff great price for the room...
- sarah (10/5): - Goodness
- Heather (8/5): - Staff was rude demanded a deposite and I’m not even local! Didn’t stay and had to wait for my refund
- zachary (2/5): - Nothing. It was a dump and there was a added on 60 dollar fee
- Aaron (2/5): - Just awful
- Vivek (8/5): - Peaceful location with parking facility
- Mark (2/5): - Dirty beds bad service
- Samuel (2/5): - Nobody at check in for 25 minutes, everything locked, no lobby, stand outside waiting, and waiting,,almost called cops thought they were dead inside, don't go there,,sleep in your trunk save your money!$$
- Temesgan (2/5): WORST PLACE EVER - We had to go down to the help window 5 separate times
1. We got the wrong room
2. The next room we went into had people in it
3.the next room the card didn’t work
4. The card didn’t work again
5. They tried to kick us out cause they thought we only ordered for 2 people when we ordered for 4 so we had to agure with them for about 20min
Not to mention each time we went down we had to wait an hour for the guy to come back to the window with a line already formed. Also there was a prostitue doing work on someone right next to were we parked!! THERE WERE CHILDERN THERE!
BED SHEETS WERE GROSS AND THERE WERE POOP STAINS OUTSIDE THE BUILDING DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SANITY
- Bradly (6/5): - The man who help me (named Nish) was very nice and did his best, but he was new and took a long time to complete my check in. He seemed over-worked. Having said that, Nish was very polite and cooperative but his work load was too much for one person who'd only been there a short while.
My room (#112) had several problems:.
1. The faucet in the sink was loose. It actually moved when I turned the water on and off.
2. The AC unit mounted in the wall did not function. It was plugged in but couldn't be turned on to adjust the temperature.
3. There was no mention of w-fi, nor was a password provided if wi-fi did exist there..
4. There was no chair to sit in.
5. I had a 2-day reservation, but my key expired after 1 day and I had to get it re-set.to get into my room.
6, There was a cigarette burn in one of the 2 bedspreads.
7. The "closet" area had no hangers and no rod to hang clothes on ...even if there were hangers.
8. Basically the room itself looked like the renovation was not completed and nobody examined the room to notice these issues or fix them.
If I'd known what the situation was before I reserved the room online, I would not have rented it. I had to stand outdoors to complete my check in because the lobby was deliberately locked to prevent entry. The renovation of the motel was not complete but they were renting rooms that weren't ready anyway.
There was a vending machine machine for beverages in the hallway in my building that was not operational at all.
- Omar (8/5): - There is no fridge or microwave in the room as mentioned
- Christina (4/5): - I was charged a $10 pet fee for my service animal and the blankets had cigarette burns and holes. Water temperature only got warm.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Sleeping in my car would've been more comfortable. - I paid for my room prior to arriving since I was flying in late and thought it would make things go faster. I got to the hotel and they told me I needed to pay a $60 deposit before I could get my room key. None of this was disclosed when I was booking and I didn't have $60. They finally gave in and gave me the room key after I threw a fit.
I entered the room and it was filthy. Tub was dirty and there were burn holes all over the blankets. It was nasty all artic around
- Ben (10/5): - The staff is awesome
- Hazel (2/5): - The room didn’t look like it was ever cleaned. The bathroom, toilet, the tables or surfaces were dusty, nasty. Whenever you walk in you smell pot. I would not even sit on the toilet without putting a cover on the toilet seat. The tub, the shower curtain smelled and begged for changing. So nasty! I regret going cheap for that trip. Ugh
- Sava (4/5): - .
- Ma. Socorro (4/5): - No one at the front desk, had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to come check me in. The blankets in the room had holes in them and the pillows were tiny. The bathroom looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a while. After having checked me in the front office lady barged into the room without knocking stating that someone told her I had checked out. The other guests were loud and in the morning when I opened my door the light fixture was broken in the middle of the hallway and no one had bothered to clean it up.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Where to start... The hotel says it's an airport hotel but is about 4 miles away and there is no shuttle just mass transit. They desk was unattended every time i went including to checkout. They never answered so i had to send my keycard through the slot and hope for the best. The room did have hot water but it was to the right not left. The water pressure is low. The shower head is about perfect if your 5'5" or under. The water temperature fluctuates constantly. The mattress was new but rock hard. The room was surface cleaned but needs a deep cleaning. The vent in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The trip gard for the bathroon door was not attached fully so it became a trip hazard. You can see under the room door. One of the outside security doors doesn't even latch so anyone can get in. Everything echos and you can hear everything in the hallway or rooms next to you. There is a collection of broken vehicles in the back of the lot that I would guess belongs to long term residents which there seemed to be a few of. As a whole it is uncomfortable, loud, unsecure, and run down. I won't be staying again.
- Lavita (6/5): - It serms like homeless people live there people comming out smoking cigarettes walking up and down the motel walkway.I only wanted to stay for 2 days but paid for 3 so I couldn't get no money back.No ice buckets no phones in rooms .Only pop machine Holes in blankets toilet running Tub leaking.
- Paul (8/5): Budget Hotel Off the Beaten Track - Recently renovated, new floors and paint ... Great price. Very comfortable bed. Rooms include refrigerators and microwave ovens.
- CHERYL (2/5): - We checked in and there are signs posted everywhere "No Smoking" however upon entering the room that is all you could smell was smoke and must. The floor at the edge of the bed was sticky, and the remote for the tv was not in the room and when we did get the remote it would not work with the tv. If you needed to talk to the person at the front counter you had to go outside and talk through a window. I would not recommend this place at all!!!!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. The only convenience is that is was located 2.7miles from Portland airport.
- Hailey (2/5): - Rude, and angry.
- Richard (2/5): - Book a room that was super noisy and played loud music. Front desk did do anything refuse to give a refund. Hotel is extremely dirty and have dog pee in the hallway.
- Juan (6/5): Needs attention to detail - The tv didnt work
Thankfully the guy working there upgraded me
But there was no control for the tv in the room
I can however was able to change channels manually behind the tv
Didnt want to bother the guy for a control
Clean olace 4 out 5
- Kenia Yasmin (2/5): - This property was filthy, inside and out! Nobody at the front desk when we arrived. Was not acknowledged, handed key without any direction of where to go in order to find our room. People that stay there leave bricks on the doors to keep them open which is a security issue.
Upon entering our room, we were extremely disappointed. The whole building smells like cigarette smoke. Our room did as well; wholes on the bed sheets, filthy floors, and don’t get me started with the bathroom- it was disgusting! Tub peeling and filthy.
Our key stopped working and waited so long to get helped and no apology for the inconvenience was given. Our first night we also saw police activity in the parking lot.
The only positive thing about it was how close the airport was. I will never stay here again.
- Joshua (2/5): - Property is in a state of disrepair they have razor wire just laying by the entrance door that anyone or or they child could get seriously hurt if they touch it. The amenities listed are not right the rooms do not have a fridge or microwave the building looks run down and dirty the locking doors to the building are being constantly propped open by people do anyone ca. just walk in I am going to request a refund due to the inaccurate website description and the dirtiness of the room and property
- David (8/5): - Buen lugar
- Nike (2/5): - This place is definitely unacceptable. I needed something for few hours for overnight layover flight. Gave me a dirty room after waiting on the cold for a while to get someone to attend to me. I had to request another room. Shower wasn't draining properly, holes in linens. It was late and i was too tired to do something about it
- Adam (10/5): - Loved my stay
- Maria (2/5): - They took my security deposit when room was perfectly fine
- RICHARD C (4/5): - No microwave nor refrigerator
- John (2/5): - Absolutely worst hotel ever, no hot water, room is filthy, no one at the front desk nobody will answer the phone. Do not stay here its worse then just staying on the street itself!!
- Jay (2/5): - No staff was available for checkin. After ringing the bell for 30 minutes standing out in the cold I left to find another hotel.
- Andrew (10/5): Horrible - It was horrible
- Maryanne (6/5): - No fridge , no hot water to make even coffee or tea ,no iron . Just simple things
- Javier (2/5): - Nothing worked in the room , not the lights not the tv
- Sasha (2/5): - Totally unprofessional front desk employee took a hour to come to the desk and was sleeping and rude
- Tyler (2/5): Absolute worst place I’ve ever paid to stay. - This place shouldn’t be allowed in business. The drug activity? The prostitution, the homeless problem is over the top. My room didn’t even have blinds on the window. Most of the down stairs rooms windows were broke out. This place is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any one.
- Cruz (6/5): - I was waiting for long time to get my room no body was in that lobby and I am still waiting for my deposit still not get it back
- Gregory (8/5): - Decent & clean. Appreciate
- Andrew (2/5): - Hair Dirt and Filth everywhere. Very unsafe, random (non customer) knocked on my door. I called the front desk and notified them to which they said, "oh! Don't answer!". I'm pretty sure they were trying to mug me or sell me drugs, idk. I felt unsafe, didn't stay the second night. Lesson learned.
- Hang (2/5): - Was supposed to stay until Monday but the room was so dirty, we had no choice but to stay the first night. There were bugs there. The room had no heat at all, just an ac unit. On one of the walls there was yellow liquid that seemed to have seeped and stained it or something, idk. In the middle of the night there were people yelling and screaming and arguing. The walls were thin and we could hear everything. The room smelled like a smoke room when non-smoking was requested. We don’t recommend the Inn at all.
