The property was very nice, especially the pool and Jacuzzi area. All the folks in the office were accommodating, helpful and super friendly! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this facility!

Great quick and efficient customer service. This is our second time staying here and I recommend the property. The pool and hot tub were beautiful.

• RaeAne (10/5): - The location is perfect. Old town is right across the street. There are lots of different things for people to do regardless of age or interest. The accommodations in our unit were very clean and comfortable. I think people sometimes forget that these structures have been around For 20 years or so. So if you need to stay in the unit with updated furnishings and decorations then this may not be for you. Everyone that we worked with at the resort was very helpful. If you are looking for the most banged for your bug, I really don’t see how you could beat this place.

• Terry (10/5): - This was our second stay at Barefoot’n and we will definitely be back. Great location and close to everything but in a quiet setting. You can walk to Old Town. Staff is friendly, and the pool/hot tub is perfect. There is a large pond on site with a deck that you can walk out on. Fun to watch the turtles in the pond and various bird species fly in and out. The resort rooms are very nice and have a washer/dryer and full kitchen.

• Maria (10/5): - This is a cute little resort tucked away off the main road. The property is very clean and quiet and right across a side street from Old Town. We had a room with a full kitchen which was great. The teens enjoyed the pool. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. I would highly recommend this property whether for a longer stay or a little staycation.

• Wanda (8/5): - Diamond in the rough but the unit i was put in this time i had a few complaints. Had not been vacuumed indoor around the patio to well, no shower gel in unit and relayed to front desk but never was brought to me, no alarm clock in the unit, toilet broken kept running and handle was very loose, rug in bedroom stained need a sshampooing, i still enjoyed my stay.

• joseph (6/5): - We actually stayed 3 nights. Top floor of 2 story condo building. Check-in was good. Ahhh….the smell of Weed heading up to our room. (Insert Sarcasm Here) Parking spot blocked the entryway sidewalk to our room. Throughout our stay, noises and the smell of Weed permeated around us. Loud TV or music through the walls and floors. 7 am wake-up call with loud voices outside the window. Stayed here a few times before and was much nicer. Front gates remain open where they use to be operational for guest security. Really like this property but not sure “Weed”stay here anymore. J. Dove

• Joel Anthony (10/5): - This place was a Pleasant surprise, we absolutely loved this place. I was a little disappointed as the apartment didn’t match the photos when I booked it was a bit outdated but for the price it was worth it. I enjoyed the wild life l, there was an alligator that lived in the pond by the pool as well as plenty of deer and many over friendly raccoons that would come to the sliding doors. If on the floor level it was important to keep sliding doors closed as the raccoons would come right in. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

• Lynne (8/5): Great resort but looking shabby - We have stayed at Barefoot many times over 10 years. Although we lover the resort, especially the facilities, location and outlook, the rooms and grounds are getting shabby and the place really needs a refit. Room and ground staff are very friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Although we would prefer not to, we may look for a different location later in the year until the resort is refreshed.

• Phyllis (6/5): Be careful of room type - We had booked a 2 bedroom condo and that was not what we got. We had 1 room downstairs and 1 totally separate room upstairs. They were only connected by a stairwell, and each room had its own doors and keys. The office staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. The owner/manager was very nice and helpful when we finally got to talk to him. The rooms were clean and roomy, they simply were not the room type we had booked.
• Judith (6/5): Barefoot Resort - Late check in and early checkout was the worst part of this stay. You wake up tired and have to rush out of this property. They do not have any Ice on the property and although they had a coffee pot in the room, they did not leave enough sugar or creamer for the coffee. Otherwise it is a nice place for a family and the location was good too.

There was hair in the bathroom floor. No ventilation in the bedroom in order to get air in the bedroom thermostat needed to be put on 68 which ment you would freeze in the living room kitchen area. All of this was told to the receptionist

This is our 2nd incident, prior trip our flight was delayed. Called the property to let them know we would be late….They left and we had no room for the night. Everything about this place is great except that.

Walk to Old Town and check out the shops grab a drink or some dinner or snacks. Great options, live music and amusements for the entire family.

My husband had to fix the shelves in the refrigerator and also had to Google how to adjust thermostat It was locked at 68 degrees He asked at front desk and they said it would stay on all the time. Young people continuously hacking and spitting in pool.

Watching the alligator and turtles in the pond was a highlight. Pool was above average and had a large hot tub as well. Area around the pool was very clean with loungers and tables for use. Would happily stay here again in future.

When we arrived, we were told no, check in is at 4. We came back later in the afternoon and again told no. I understand that it's based on availability, but they were short and rude and didn't offer to allow us to use the pool and were not at all welcoming. We ultimately decided to stay somewhere else, even though it was non refundable. I was not feeling well and after traveling all day, I just wanted to rest and this was not the place to do it.

Lo único que no me gusto fue que los apartamentos están en combinaciones de dos uno sobre el otro y se escuchaban los pasos de los inquilinos del apartamento de arriba en todo momento, especialmente en la madrugada. • Kalie (8/5): - Great value in good location. It’s not the ritz but the suite was sized generously for me and two young adults. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Pool area was solid. No extras here but that should be expected at this price point. Be careful of raccoons and cats in dumpster area at night!
• Donna (8/5): Nice Location - Perfect location if you like to walk around Old Town and be near parks. There are even dishes and pans in the kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. I love the pool and jacuzzi. The downside is to make sure you don't come in too late because no one is at the desk and last time I was there I had to sleep in my car because the person had left.. although I had called and emailed telling them my flight was delayed. This overnight issue is a problem if you have something like I went through where the people were upstairs were loud through the night and I couldn't sleep and being disabled I couldn't climb the stairs .. but then I might have been afraid to knock on their door and there was noone in the office to call to complain and help. The signs saying that they are not responsible for anything that might happen to your car are a little concerning. They are Under New Management and owners so could benefit from a night shift worker at the desk and security.

• June (10/5): Another comfortable stay! - Stay was very comfortable. I travel alone so always looking for secure safe places to stay. Everytime i stay here it is very nice. Bed was great, everything was very clean. Great having a full fridge and kitchen! Checked in late and was easy. Old Town across the street was a bit noisy but that died down. Security gate was open all night so not very secure at all.

Got me out of taking them to gator land. The bedding smelled horrible for the sofa bed. Had like a chemical smell. I just think they were brand new and white and not washed yet. I did wash it. Didn’t dry in enough time. Stains all over the sofa couch stains on a lot of the carpet. Was it a laid-back environment and fun for my kids? Yes! The pool was great. Would I stay here again? Yes, it served its purpose.
