Carli Jeanne (6/5): - We had a lovely stay, however this is a hotel not a resort. The only thing to do at the hotel is be in your room. No restaurant, bar, lawn chairs or anything else. The front desk was seldom open even though it says open 8-18:00, we felt like we needed to buy water in bulk because the free water filling station is in the reception and it was not accessible most of the time. The bungalows were great so if you aren’t looking to be social and just want to walk to the beach this is a great option.

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and neat the rooms were (the cleanest and best maintained place we’ve stayed at)! Plus you’re super close to a lovely beach! We would totally stay here again!

The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere with a nice beach just steps away, making it ideal for relaxation. The nearby restaurants and bars added so much charm to the experience, offering a variety of options for dining and drinks. What truly stood out was the thoughtful touch from the staff they surprised us with a beautiful Christmas gift filled with goodies for our stay. It made the holiday feel even more special and showed how much they care about their guests. Everything was well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with access to great local spots and incredible hospitality, Matcha Lanta Resort is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
