Took about 30 minutes of calling and asking for the code to get in and we realized that Some of the rooms DO NOT have private balconies even though the pictures online show a private balcony. I asked to be moved any it took a very long time to say they don’t have any other rooms. Also the power went out for 3 hours, our food went bad. They would not credit us for any of our stay.

- Steve (10/5): Beautiful Inn with Beautiful Views - We were extra pleased with our stay at the Inn. There were many surprises that we didn’t know about. The grounds were beautiful with flowers and a fountain. It was so charming. There was a hot tub for guests and a nice pool. Also, a central gathering room called The Sky Box to meet other guests or have get togethers. Our room was wonderfully decorated and we had a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker. The bathroom was stocked with spa quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was divine. Our favorite part was our balcony and view from Lookout Mountain to the Tennessee River and Chattanooga. It was so convenient to Rock City, Ruby Falls and Chattanooga. We loved our stay there very much.

- Gilbert (10/5): - This was our first time to stay at Lookout Mountain Riverview Inn cabin. The description does not do justice to the actual views. You will experience in person. The cabin was absolutely perfect for my wife and I to stay and the view from our balcony over the mountains and chattanooga were breathtaking. Esta is the manager and hosted breakfast in the morning at the skybox room just two doors down from our cabin. My wife is dominican, and we were both made to feel very welcomed as if we were visiting family. I can't say enough great things about this location, the people we encountered and the views. we will definitely be back.
- Kelsy (6/5): - Arriving we tried to unlock our room, and we could not get the electronic lock to work, we had to call to ask how to make it work. We finally got in our room to find out there was an adjoining door to the room beside us that wasn't stated in the room description. Day 2 we couldn't lock or unlock our room at all and had to be given a Key and were told that it would be fixed that afternoon, but it never was. There were opened, used body wash bottles and Shampoo/conditioner left in the shower, only 1 bath towel per person. The AC smelled like mold every time it kicked on. The K-cup coffee machine in the room had mold in the water tank. They need to set up time slots for each room to use the hot tub or each room needs their own. The hot tub down the back steps lights wouldn't work so everyone came to the one by our room (4) they were loud and playing music while they were in it and we felt like we couldn't go out on our balcony since the hot tub was right there. The staff we did see were very nice and I'm sure they are trying to fix the issues, but I just didn't expect so many issues, and I feel that the adjoining room door should have been disclosed in the description, we would have picked a different room or stayed elsewhere if we knew that. It's not an awful place it just needs to get things in working order and better descriptions of the rooms given.

The view and location on the side of the mountain was a wonderful surprise. Everything was clean and thoughtfully placed. The bed was comfortable. Downside is nothing was available for purchase or otherwise on the premises such as snacks or drinks and you have to use your own apps to use the television.

The only thing was the doors were very thin and we could hear the neighbors in the connecting room speaking. They were not speaking loud at all, but it sounded like they were in our room. It put a bit of a damper on a romantic weekend that ended up not being so romantic.

Had to lay in bed to watch tv. Balcony was great with 2 rockers. Biggest problem we were on the mountain and no food of any kind. We would have carried food if we had known that we had to drive the curvy road up and down the mountain. Did not even have bottle water. But it was very quiet and fine for one night.

- Audury (10/5): - Perfect couples get away. The rooms are private, clean, and beautifully decorated. The views are unbelievable and the hot tub/pool were perfect! The cottages look like a Tuscany retreat with perfect landscaping and peaceful surroundings. It is obviously right off the highway so some traffic noise but it didn’t bother us a bit. Will return!

Filled out in my car. They sent me a code that didnt work. Called number lady said been having problem with lock. Sent new code didn work. She opened it manually. Sent me 3rd code to use. I didnt use did not leave the room the entire stay for fear of being locked out after hours.

- Catherine (10/5): A Dreamy and Perfectly Charming Inn - My reservation was for two nights in room #7. It was picture perfect. Very well-appointed, very clean, SOFT towels, comfortable bed (and I have a bad back), and it gave spa vibe (Oh and there's spa towels and robes, too!). I loved the private porch with two chairs and a table for my coffee in the morning! Even the ensuite coffee was good. Whatever that wine was, it was exceptional! I drank every drop! I was nervous about parking because I got in very late at night, but it was a snap and mere steps from the door. If you want a romantic spot, this is it. I wish I had packed a bathing suit to take advantage of one of the hot tubs or the outdoor pool. I'm already looking forward to coming back! I loved it. Highly recommend.

- Brenda (10/5): - This place is the most comfortable inn I've ever stayed in. I stayed 3 nights and it felt like home. Very comfortable and beautiful view. Every day cleaning people were there cleaning hot tub , swimming pool and the patios. Loved it can't wait till I come back. I recommend lookout mountain Riverview inn to everyone. 5 star for sure or more
- Joanna (10/5): - This was such a cool place to stay! The room was comfortable and cozy, including a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain and river scenery. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
- Denise (10/5): - Very cute, well maintained. A lot of little extras. The ear plugs in the nightstand an usual twist, but LOVED it. Soft comfy towels and robe. Will definitely stay again. The view is amazing.
- Tommy (2/5): Terrible company amd inn - No signs showing where end 2 rooms were. Room reaked pf dead fish. Barhroom door handle fell off. Small tight room. Uncomfortable beds. Paid for 2 nights had to leave after 1 sue to smell bit management was not willing to offer a refund or future night stay to accomodate. WAY overpriced. Will never aoend my money with them again. Just horrible
- Leona (10/5): Perfect Setting - We came up from Atlanta to get away for a couple of days and enjoy taking photos. We were wowed that the best place to get a beautiful sunrise was from our back porch! It was also very convenient to Ruby Falls and Rock City… We actually wanted to extend our stay but it was booked. I really love cabins 7&8 for photography.
- Art (6/5): Poor visit - weather was good. need to add a fan that can be turned on and not just by the heat from a shower. Shower head was not adjustable?? Screen door would not close it's 2" to wide and it slams ever time it gets used. The ac unit is so loud it sounds like a big truck starting up. Some road noise until 2am. they need to turn off those out side lights at night or put in blackout blinds.
