Guest Reviews
- Charlotte (10/5): - Lovely comfortable room. But if you are a couple then make sure you take a set of towels, as they only provide one towel. In a student area bars can be a little noisy. But great place for amenities and Leeds centre.
- Henry (2/5): - Unbearably hot. Insanely loud until 5 AM some nights. Black out shades don’t black anything out. Poorly equipped studio kitchen. Contacted management about a window that wouldn’t open, they emailed back asking for a picture of the window like they didn’t know what ‘window’ meant then ignored me when I sent it. ‘Balcony’ was a half meter wide walkway that goes around the front of the building shared with everyone else on the top floor. One of the worst studios I’ve stayed in over the last 6 months of travel. Save your money and your sanity. Stay somewhere else.
- Jane (8/5): Cleana nd reasonably pricwd for a quick visit - Overall very happy with my stay although discovered the cutlery at the end of the stay and being small having essential items on the highest shelf wasnt the best. The accommodation was central although noisy due to local bars.
The fire alarm went off at6.25 on Sunday morning and it was gone 8 before the security arrived to turn it off.
- Ari (4/5): - Nice location and clean rooms, but noise from the night club nextdoor made it difficult to sleep. Fire alarm in the building went off three times during my stay and it took security more than an hour to turn it off.
- Steph (2/5): Worst hotel, it’s student accommodation - This was one of the worst properties I have stay in.
Firstly this is student accommodation via student halls that are being rented out for additional income by the owners. As such the quality of what’s received is as basic as possible.
The rooms are next to a busy area of Leeds, with music playing until early morning. The windows are not soundproof therefore you can hear everything throughout the night.
The bed is a twin, it’s small and the mattress is very uncomfortable with small flat pillows, 1 each to sleep with.
There was only 1 bath towel to use by 2 occupants. No towels, clothes or ways of cleaning the room if you were to use the kitchen area.
Although the room was clean, all other areas are shared accommodation with students, so be warned on the hygiene levels.
We stayed during a bank holiday, therefore no reception or welcome to the property. We received no communications from the property owners prior to check in, which we discovered on arrival you need to complete security ID checks before being given keys: due to poor signal it took over 2 hours to check in and collect keys.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible place to stay - to avoid - It is a terrible place to stay, the only (small) window of the studio was just above a generator running 24/7, so the smoke of the exhaust pipe would enter the studio if we wanted to open the window for fresh air! Plus constant noise of the engine.
They send like 10 automatic emails in a day but never reply to my messages about my request to change room, never offer for a partial reinsbursement. I left the second day (of a week stay) as it was impossible to stay in those conditions. The mattress is of poor quality, big sprung, very soft, not comfortable. The neighbourhood is very noisy as full of pubs, restaurant, clubs etc..
