Guest Reviews
- Mariah (10/5): - The staff was amazing, she was kind and had great communication. Satisfied
- Goitom (10/5): - It was an excellent environment to stay in. It has convenient and an easy parking area. it is also close by the freeway entrance and exit. I would like to recommend this motel to everybody.
Thank you,
- Dutch (8/5): - The room was clean and the staff friendly.
- Gay (10/5): - The parking area was great lots of room and big parking spaces the room was very clean
- Kathy (8/5): - The property was great was clean ,the staff so helpful and kind. We finally had to go down and complain about the noise overhead. It sounded like they were dragging furniture all across the floor right above is. At 2am. The lady on duty apologized and said she'd take care of it.. That noise stopped but a few minutes later , someone ,we assume ,the people that were asked to be quieter , started setting off a car alarm, every few minutes. That lasted several hours. We just have up and tried to doze. I can't believe some people can be so unthoughtful and rude. I would stay hear again. Clean and comfortable. Thank you,Kathy Roath
- Caitlin (10/5): - We really like Sierra and the lady who is sometimes maintenance! Both very nice!
- Lou (6/5): - AMY was very great staff but another woman staff knocked on door at 9pm, I was not dressed so only opened crack but she demanded I open door and I did then she started yelling at me about "being inappropriate" because of lack of clothes. I immediately went to office, clothed, to complain vehemently
- Kari (2/5): - When we arrived the lobby was closed due to flooding in laundry room. The girl working was rude & told me & the other people waiting to check in she didn’t know when she’d be able to check us in & to go somewhere else if we wanted a room right away. I asked her what the time frame was going to be before we could check in & she said she didn’t know. We ended up waiting a few more minutes & she did check us in. She did apologize in the end but I will never stay here again.
- James (10/5): - Really nice place to stay now staff are great and wonderful
- Grace (6/5): - The room was clean. The bathroom such as toilet seat and shower had seen better days but it was doable for our one night stay. Location was convenient for our travel plans.
- James (10/5): - Nice clean and I felt safe
- Reed (4/5): - The floor in the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous renter (hair and debris), the phone system did not work so when there was a drunk man outside our door using profane language talking to his dog for two hours there was nothing we could do but endure it.
- Nick (2/5): - The door going outside doesn't close all the way. It has large gaps underneath door. No wonder I saw roaches in there despite not bringing in food. Very loud. Heard people outside yelling and in room next door. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but after first I checked out and still billed for 3.
- Caila (10/5): - Great
- Joshua (8/5): - It was quiet at night, but during the day the door did not block out the noise. The room was clean and came with a useable kitchenette. If needed, I would stay again based on the value and cleanliness.
- Kyle (6/5): - Pros:
Clean, affordable rooms consistent with Motel 6 standards
Full-size refrigerator and stovetop in kitchenette
Heater/AC worked well
Beds and linens in acceptable condition
Cons:
Kitchenette lacked utensils, cookware, plates, and dish soap, limiting usability for cooking
Firm mattress and flat pillows provided limited head support
Some exterior areas, such as the stairs, showed wear
Located near the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable
Occasional barking from animals in nearby rooms (pet-friendly policy may be a plus for some, but worth noting for light sleepers)
Some transient activity in the parking area; management was making efforts to address it
Bottom line: A reasonable budget choice for short stays, especially for travelers who value pet-friendly accommodations, but less suited for extended visits or those sensitive to noise.
- John (10/5): - We stay very often and have always been treated well. The ladies at the desk have always been sweet. Had a few issues with crazy people staying next to us, but that's not something that the employees can anticipate and they have always handled it well, so not really a complaint.
- Dana (10/5): - My room was directly opposite the IHOP and we even get a discount if we show our room key! Elmer's and Burger King are also close by, but there are lots of places, even a Bubble Tea place and two convenience stores! The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There were roaches in the room as soon as we walked in. They moved us to another room which also had roaches. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean however, we will not be staying there again. They need an exterminator.
- Rick (6/5): - A lot of freeway noise
- Ron (10/5): - It was good
- Rodney (6/5): - If I had known this was a Motel 6 I probably would not have booked it. You know you are in a class joint when you open the door to find bare floors.
- Ron (10/5): - It was good
- Cathleen (10/5): - Very close to everywhere I wanted to go.
- Dylan (2/5): - The air condition in the room barely worked. We didn't have any soap or toilet paper in the room. There was a couple living in their car parked right next to my car.
- Sarah (10/5): - The staff was amazing. The rooms were nice. Loved the beds. Very comfy.
- Julie (4/5): - The room we stayed in was pretty nice and clean but they had construction going on like 10 feet from our room banging on the roof and building on the building plus did not know that there is a $50 deposit on the room.... But the front desk people are nice
- Ron (6/5): - The hotel was nice and it was weird that there was no
- laron (6/5): - Was ok, saw bugs in the room tho
- Emily (2/5): - Dirty floors, my feet turned black walking barefoot, the bed was springs and had stains, reeked of cigarette smell, alarm kept beeping, instantly got a headache. The receptionist was absolutely rude. I’m trying to get my money back. She told me there was a $50 fee to check in and we’d get it back if the room was clean. Will I get it back if the room was dirty when we got there? Absolutely terrible experience. Never again will I come here. Sketchy people sitting in the parking lot. False advertising, room looked nothing like the pictures, the whole place was under construction, the pool, the hot tub all closed. People coming out of there room smoking pot, cigarettes whatever else. In no smoking rooms. How can you have cameras on every inch of the place and not care about what’s happening. Not to mention I had my 16 month old baby with me during this. And couldn’t afford to get another room at a different hotel. I want my money back.
- Kevin (6/5): - Booked with the studio 6 side 3 times. The first room there was no problems, the second room the shower head was coming apart. The third room there was roaches
- Simon (6/5): Nice enough room sketchy area - The room was actually quite good . The area is a bit sketchy. But everyone I spoke to from the hotel was very nice
- Reginald (4/5): - OK JUST HAD VOMIT ON STAIRCASE
- Jessyca (6/5): - Affordable value; parking very close, which is great; Even in the non-smoking area, the room, and everything smells like cigarettes. Excellent shower.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not very clean - Had dust in the panel bad frame
- Andres (4/5): - .
- Tamiris (6/5): - Fare for the price , just not to clean , but good location
- zack (2/5): - Got woken up twice once at 1 AM by a staff opening my door, and then at 3AM by loud pipes... there were roaches, it was crazy
- Marcelo (2/5): - The room, bed and pillows smelled of cigarettes, the bathroom smelled of marijuana. Disgusting! Homeless people in the parking lot and hallways leading to the rooms. The atmosphere was unsafe and disturbing, with fights and arguments in the hallway almost in front of my room.
- WELLINGTON (8/5): - Good
- Luciana (4/5): - Not very clean
Noise from guests at dawn, with loud sounds and voices.
No coffee maker in the room as advertised.
- Jonatas (6/5): - Not bad for the price, but some outlets (including the ones powering the microwave and the sink). Bathroom sink was clogged, terrible. I called the front desk, but nobody went there to have it fixed.
- Shaquina (8/5): Pleasant stay for the weekend - We were there for a weekend. The room was ok and the staff was very courteous. This property is strategically located a minute walk to ihop and 5 minutes walk from many other food options. We would definitely return to this property.
- Bernard (4/5): - Stayed for a week. Never once was housekeeping in to check linens or towels. The memory foam mattress lets you sink in and holds you suck that you can hardly move. Noplace other than the bed to watch TV from. Door fits poorly and lets in light all around, also light spills in around the curtain.
- Tammie (2/5): Roches - Cockroaches are everywhere I left room early and was out of the cash
- Maricela (6/5): - Floors were dirty, trash under the beds. Toilet did not have a cover. Unable to change channels on tv.
- Michael (2/5): - Staff literally told us to unclog and clean their toilet when it was broken in the first place. The door to our room was also broken and when we asked for the door to be fixed maintenance made it worse and it didn't even close after that. Will not be staying here again....
- Jennifer (2/5): - DONT WASTE YUR MONEY HERE
- Tina (4/5): - Toilet flooded and water wasn’t completely wiped off the floor. The room was dirty. There’s was dust all over the heating vents so I decided not to turn on heater because it smelled. The blankets were itchy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Run down with poor quality, service, and lack of transparency in costs.
- Jennifer (2/5): - GO SPEND MORE MONEY AT A BETTER MOTEL
- Jennifer (2/5): - DONT RENT ROOMS HERE. THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO STEAL YUR MONEY. MANAGEMENT IS FRAUDULENT!!!
- Jennifer (2/5): - It's a health hazard
- Wayne (6/5): - Looked as if it had been renovated. Still had a very old HVAC unit that was all busted and looked nasty. Room was clean but the facilities looked run down. Lots of people sitting on the stairs smoking everyday.
- Morgan (8/5): - The room was as pictured, not a 5 year old picture of its glory days. The only complaint was the door seal was misaligned, had to use towels to seal the door. Management is putting in effort to make things look good and a nice place. We stayed in a studio 6 room.
- Brian (2/5): - Night staff did nothing to stop the loud music and loud drunken people next to me I didn’t sleep all night
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Can you please get rid of the cigarette smell from the room? That was Friday.
It smell like someone has been smoking the whole day. I had to spray cologne to mask the smell.
“Complimentary Breakfast” should be more than just coffee.
I was expecting the room to be clean with new bed sheets and towels on the second day. I came back on Saturday night and nothing has change. No new sheets. No new towels. And the smoke smell was still there. I had to spray cologne to mask the smell again.
- Larry (8/5): - Appeared to be fairly new remodel. The door was a bit worn you could see day light coming through the frame. But it was a nice clean little room.
- Jennifer (4/5): - get better management
- Steven (10/5): Beautiful stay - It was pretty awsome. My children loved the studio room a bunch. Just don't cook bacon on the stove not enough ventilation it set off the alarm......oops
- Lorena (4/5): No service at all for 4 days - We had to take the trash out exchange towels at the office. Noisy people playing music in cars doing drugs at 3 am bathroom floor torn up and door in bathroom is bad.
- Kevin (8/5): Exceeded expectations. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The overall condition of the property is good. The room i was in appeared to have been updated in the last few years. One criticism is providing only two relatively small bath towels. I would definitely stay here again.
- Derron (10/5): - It’s was an amazing experience
- Melissa (10/5): - I love this place it's like a home fore thanks for always letting me stay as long as id like.
- Eugence (8/5): - It was a nice room and my server was good. They failed to mention that you pay the $50 deposit that they return in 48hrs but though they haven’t retired mine to my account hopefully it will come back. Good stay though. Breakfast advertised is just a cup of coffee though.
- Curtis (8/5): - Good: Front desk person was nice and helpful. Also, The room looked modernized.
Needs improvement: The room was dusty on the fridge and upper shelves.
- Jamie (2/5): Horrible conditions! - Dirty! Linens had hair and urine and feces. Tried four different room and they all had Bugs! Ants in every room. Woke up to them crawling on us before changing rooms.
- Olivia (10/5): - Got a room here for super cheap, clean, quiet, newly renovated rooms, lovely staff, GREAT water pressure. Will definitely stay again.
- Melissa (10/5): - Clean rooms and mice staff
- Thomas (10/5): - Better than expected. No issues. Great service!
- Netra (10/5): - The area isnt the best, but the facility makes uo for it. The staff eas very kind and accommodating . The rooms are spirless. Housekeeping was vert respectful. It was perfect for my business trip, i like to cook for myself while gone from home for work. Having a kitchenette was perfect and all the appliances worked with no issues.
- Netra (8/5): - Late late night there's very loud music playing in cars in the parking lot. I heard it twice within a weeks stay. Aside from that. Its a really good place to stay for work while in Tacoma
- Andy (6/5): - The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating, however the “new” doors didn’t work properly so I had to move to a different rm. Tiara helped me and Noey, the mgr, comped me another nights stay for the hassle. Rooms are awesome: full fridge, stove, micro wave and bars in the bathrooms for handicapped or just old folks like me. What could have been terrible was made good by Tiara and Noey. Thank you ladies!
- sheri (6/5): - Staff not very helpful, noisy with people and dogs, shady area of Tacoma.
- Sean (6/5): - Toilet seat wasn't connected. Weird factory type noise coming somewhere in the building. Bed was not comfortable. Room didn't look like pictures.
Clean. Easy check in. Great staff. Restaurants in parking lot. Easy parking.
- Chris (10/5): - Everything went well but it just felt unsafe and the surrounding area was dirty
- Sharaya (10/5): - Rude staff
- Robert (10/5): - Front desk was awesome
