- Ambika (10/5): - This is such a great, cosy place with wonderful, friendly staff. We ended up here at the last minute due to other lodging falling through, and they were super accomodating, getting us checked in early. The rooms are a good size with charming wood-trunk & plank furniture, and the bathrooms are super modern and up to date. The rooms have lovely views of the water (we started in one and shifted to the bigger room on our 2nd night). The breakfast was robust and they serve dinner if you don't want to head into town. If I had friends in the area, I'd absolutely recommend Cumbres!
