Guest Reviews
- Al (4/5): - Not a speakeasy or as magical as advertised. The “breakfast” that is included was three cold hard pancakes topped with apples and sprinkles or a soupy “smoothie bowl” akin to Smurf diarrhea topped with dry oats and even dried coconut shards, you have a “choice” of a paltry cacao tea or America coffee. Though the breakfast menu advertised at the attached Alquemista Cafe had more options, I was informed by management only vegan and vegetarian options are offered currently in the included breakfast. I found what was presented to be inedible and the Guatemalan Wizard option to be a joke as a traditional Chapin option.
The tin roof of the room is so thin when the neighborhood cats jump on it it sounds like a boulder dropping so good luck getting a good night rest. Though the room is decorated whimsically the bed is stiff and not in a magical way.
The water in the shower did get hot quickly and for the whole shower. Management was responsive via Facebook messenger but their on site staff lacked the initiative and understanding needed to make the experience enjoyable.
Would not recommend if you are a fae enthusiast, coven Queen, or a merman in need of respite. Mere mortals would do better elsewhere also.
- Jason (10/5): - Fun and unique atmosphere. The three ladies working here were great.
