Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (8/5): - Great location
- Hannah (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay. Super easy and on a good bus route to South Bank.
Staff really helpful and room was lovely.
Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Only visited one night whilst staying in London but really friendly staff, room was lovely can’t really fault it. Perfect for what we needed.
- Scott (10/5): - Staff is awesome.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Confortable et sans bruit le soir. Ventillateur disponible quand il fait chaud.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
- Mark (10/5): Hidden Gem - Excellent hidden gem within walking distance to two tube stations; Lambeth North & Kennington.
Real friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Rooms have everything you need. Will definitely use again when wanting something affordable in London.
- Joanne (8/5): Blue room - Great room, location, friendly staff and very nice bar. Easy to walk to lambeth north underground in less than 10 mins. Walking down main road with beautiful area. Quiet at night. Great cafe for breakfast within a few mins walk on the way to Lambeth north called chocolatedinocompamy.
Soap dispenser did not work and had leak on base of shower, it still worked but less water pressure to head of shower. Minor things as said above , great location amd good value for money.
- Léa (6/5): - Sufficient room for one night but not for a full stay.
Clogged sink, stagnant water in the kettle, broken shower gel in the shower, no window... It is relatively expensive considering the condition of the facilities.
- kevin (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay. Really nice staff and a great location. Good value, and I would stay again
- Adrian (10/5): - Cracking location , nice and clean , staff are very friendly, highly recommend
- Rebecca (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay at this slightly off centre but still accessible to the areas of the city that we wanted to explore.
- Geraldine (8/5): Warm, but comfortable hotel. - We stay in the middle of a heatwave, so the room the first night was very warm. Thankfully, they had a fan, sadly they had no extension cord, so we could not put it in front of the window to bring in the cool outdoor air. The next day, I kept the blind down, so the room was not as warm. They had bottled water in a small fridge outside the door, was fantastic. In the fridge, there were also bottles of milk for tea / coffee in the morning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): One night stay - Really lovely staff and friendly check in. The room was comfortable but there were some maintenance issues, the blind was broken, no plug for the sink and some water damage from possibly a roof leak as examples, that being said for our one night stay the bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet, with thoughtful additions such as a fridge with cold still and sparkling water available for free in the hall, and a coffee pod machine as well as sweets for a treat in the room. Plenty of towels provided. There was a 10% discount at the bar for guests, and we were made to feel very welcome every moment of our stay.
- Baljit (8/5): - Great location
- Rebecca (10/5): - Friendly staff who let us in and looked after our bag as we needed to leave in the evening and checkout was earlier. Which was great as we felt more independent. The room was nice and had a big bathroom. However the shower tap was broken so it only had the overhead shower and I couldn’t use the hand held shower part. There was a fridge in the room but it was tiny. Transport to get into the city was best by a bus stop opposite the hotel but the busses were irregular, not really a problem for us as we liked to walk but prospective travelers should be aware that it is not nearby a tube station.
- Gerard (8/5): - Ok
- Mark (10/5): - We had a lovely stay. Rooms are really nice. Not many friills - apart from the coffee maker and milk frother - but perfectly suited for a short stay..bus stop opposite and a ten minute ride to Trafalgar Square means you can be right in the centre of London in no time, and the South Bank. Would thoroughly recommend. No breakfast option but just next to it is Kennington Coffee shop which is charming and perfect.
- Yolanda (10/5): - Awsone
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great staff and room was excellent for the price. Fantastic pub and close to London.
- Götz (10/5): - Great value for the money in a very short walking distance to Big Ben. Staff was very helpful and polite.
- Avia (8/5): - This is nice for a few nights. It’s clean. No hot water, so I didn’t get a shower. In an ok location.
- Harriet (10/5): - A lovely place to stay. Room was clean, smart and comfortable. Oat milk available for tea in the room! Amazing’ I would definitely stay again.
- Shaun (2/5): - No one available for check in and no one answered when we rang. In the end we didn’t stay from this wouldn’t recommend
- Francesca (8/5): - Oat milk in the fridge was amazing but the coffee machine just gave us lukewarm coffee. I'd have preferred instant to be honest. Also lacking a full size mirror or any kind of mirror in the bedroom. Carpet also needs replacing. Other than that, it was clean, comfy and convenient! Staff were super helpful too. I'd stay here again.
- Touhid (8/5): - We had a pleasant stay at The Ship Rooms in London from June 14 to 16. The location was excellent—just steps away from a public bus stop and within walking distance of major attractions like the London Eye, Westminster Bridge, and Big Ben. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. While we didn’t try the pub downstairs, it’s a nice touch, and they offered a 10% discount on drinks for guests. There were also grocery stores and a pizza shop nearby, which added to the convenience. Overall, a great place to stay for exploring central London.
- Paul (8/5): - Was good
- Gabriela (10/5): - Fenomenal
- Amelia (10/5): - Such an amazing stay, the room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The people running the hotel were super kind and helped bring my bags as well! would absolutely come back!
- MILKIA J C (8/5): - Trata-se de uma acomodação bem localizada, ampla, com atendimento maravilhoso. O ponto negativo são as escadas mas todos os prédios antigos são assim.
- Angela (10/5): - Top
- Sharon (8/5): - Vey reasonably priced
- CIHAN (8/5): - Temiz odalar, merkezi konum, iyi fiyat performans
- Iain (10/5): - Quirky hotel with large rooms comfortable beds and great staff in a leafy neighborhood. Nice pub downstairs.
- Darys (10/5): - Stayed for 2 nights. Loved the place.. the downstairs is a pub. The staff was super friendly and helped us carry our luggage upstairs bc they don’t have elevators. No ac but it was cold when I visited London so it’s not needed. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious. There is a bus stop across the street that takes you to all the tourist places.
- Alastair (8/5): Great staff and friendly welcome. Good value - Nice pub with rooms, very friendly and attentive staff. Food was good, not far from Waterloo. Good value.
It did get warm even with the Aircon.
- Joanne (10/5): - Great pizza !
- Jana (8/5): - Good location, but too expensive for what they are offering. Very small room with dirty carpet. For milk you need to go to hall, hm inconvenience for me as I like my cup of tea before I go to bed.
- Paul (10/5): - Excellent value for money . My room was 1st rate. Very nice staff on hand to greet me. Definitely staying again.
- Miguel (8/5): - All good
- Alan Alireza (4/5): - It is for me a hostel that is listed as a hotel. It was clean and ok but no lobby, no elevator. Nevertheless personnel were very nice, friendly and helpful. However I recommend the staff to fix the loose water faucet and the shower drain that was blocked.
- Denise (8/5): - Quirky rooms, plenty of space, comfortable bed- very quiet
Coffee pods and a sweetie jar were a nice touch
- Alexandra (10/5): - Very cute spacious rooms and staff was amazing!
