Guest Reviews
- Jacqueline (10/5): - The house is unique & beautiful. The hosts are friendly & helpful. Breakfasts were wonderful in a lovely room flooded with sunshine overlooking the bay. Such a nice visit!
- Aileen (6/5): - Car park dark - was unsure how safe the car would be
Room was cold - no heating. Had to request heating to be turned on.
Function on first night - offered masks and ear plugs and then after check out discovered we had been charged £14 per person for these - rip off
Had to carry bags up three flights of stairs as no lift. No hairdryer in room.
- Randy (10/5): - Very Clean. Regular Housekeeping.
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Does not look much from the outside but inside very clean and comfortable. We had a great nights sleep following a friends birthday party in the function suite. Great breakfast at the The Hardgate Cafe across the road.
- Sam (4/5): Basic - Very basic, no clear signage to reception (just a little room with a blind over the window, no restaurant on site (not detailed in listing), no bath towel in the room. Not what was expected based on the listing. Very clean though on the positive side.
- William (8/5): - Elevator was out of order and no plan to correct.
- joseph (8/5): - Nice place. Hallways and surrounding areas were kinda run down. But don’t be deceived because the room itself was great! Room was clean and organized, bathroom was nice and clean! And some cool little things in the room like a mirror with a Bluetooth speaker built in (nice for jamming out in the shower lol) and a really cool lamp that turns on/off with just a touch! It’s also nice that there’s a Tesco right across the street, super convenient! Just kinda wish outside the room was better kept, but hey, I’m not sleeping the hallways right! Also there is no elevator; not an issue for me as I like walking, but something to consider if you don’t like stairs. Overall, good stay and would recommend!
- JOHN (10/5): - Rooms are clean and tidy
- Ian (6/5): ok - The hotel was clean, very hard to find, no one told us about the stairs, NO LIFT, could have been a big problem, only stayed one night, would not have stayed longer, stairs were a big problem.
- Neil (10/5): - Lovely staff. At the hotel. And local pub down the stairs
- Eleanor (8/5): - Area really let this place down. Not much in the way of amenities. And really could do with some curtains to block out the night time lights from outside.
- sharon (10/5): Excellent stay - I was staying to be close to the hospital while my husband had an operation. The hotel was clean well decorated and furnished. The security was excellent and for my first solo stay i felt very safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful
- Chris (10/5): One night stay - I had booked the Hotel for just one night stay, on arrival I was briefly shown around & I thought the decor throughout was excellent, very well maintained with a classic but modern touch, the room itself was perfect with king size bed T.V and all I required for an evening stay as well the room also had a large on-suite bathroom.
Overall / Perfect & good value for money.
- PAUL (8/5): - Impressive and very clean shower room
