Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): - Comfortable stay in Craven Arms with a bar downstairs. No dinner served but had a good Indian meal a short walk away. Very convenient for the Discovery centre
- Alison (8/5): - A very friendly welcome and a clean cosy room. Good cooked breakfast. Ideal overnight stay for bike trip.
- Vincent (6/5): - Certainly not worth the £95 B&B, no food available on arrival, breakfast was only available after 8am, no good for business people.
- Stephen (6/5): - The staff were friendly and the hotel is next to a wonderful walk on common land with an orchard. The cooked breakfast was very good too and very big if required. My small dislike , but only minor , was breakfast was from 9am which is a bit later than I prefer, but worth waiting for !
- Rachael (8/5): - Only stayed for 1 night while in the area for a wedding and its a perfect base. Comfortable and clean, with a great cooked breakfast. Kerry, the new owner, was really helpful and friendly and made everything super easy
- Christopher (8/5): - Perfect location for an overnight stay to explore the local area. Bed very comfortable. Full breakfast if required.
- Charmaine (10/5): - Kerry the owner was lovely and very helpful, our room was clean ,tidy and had complimentary ,shower, wash, and soap items
Breakfast was cooked to order and there was plenty to choose from, we had a great time Thankyou
- Martin (10/5): - Excellent breakfast service. Cask beer on the bar from Ludlow Brewery. Good car park.
- Honor (6/5): - Staff welcoming but ptoperty needs upgrading
- VALERIE (8/5): - good sized room, comfy bed. close to town centre.
Ideal location for going to Shropshire Hills Visitor Centre
- Adeyemi (10/5): - Welcoming. Got to meet the owner too. He was so nice and kind.
- Ken (4/5): - A dog messed on the floor in the main bar at lunchtime (disgusting) ok service at the bar, breakfast very small and not great service
- Heidi (8/5): En natt I Craven Arms - Ønsket å teste en B&B i en liten «by», men her var vi nok midt oppe i nye eiere som tok over. Hyggelig, men bar preg av lite turisme.
- Mary (8/5): Welcoming & helpful staff. - The staff here are very welcoming & extremely friendly though cleaning could be improved, we had a lovely sleepover & would definitely stay again, as Craven Arms is a really beautiful area with friendly people & great amenities.
- Chris (8/5): - Good location for our needs.
- Vanessa (6/5): - People were lovely and accommodating. Room quite dusty and mould in the shower. However convenient location, good breakfast and WiFi.
- Gary (10/5): - Nice place
- Dave (8/5): - Lovely hotel.Very helpful.Top rate breakfast... highly recommended.
- David (6/5): - In comparison to other properties we’d staying in at a similar price this hotel seemed overpriced. On the positive the room was quiet but WiFi was useless and the room quite small. No one else was staying there at the time - we should have realised!
- Maurice (10/5): - will return
- Leon (6/5): - Stayed for a night, we arrived early met the owner who was nice and he allowed us to drop our bags at the room early before it was made up. Upon arriving back we had found that the dirty cups and milk packets from the previous occupants had been put in my girlfriends bag. After questioning this we were told that a staff member had been behaving in a strange manner and not to worry as theyd been sacked, shortly after we were told that we were in the wrong room and had to move, apart from all this it wasnt a bad stay at all, breakfast was good, convenient bar downstairs and very good parking. Bay window room highly reccomended.
- Lisa (10/5): - Beautiful
- russell (4/5): A lot of money for not a lot! - There was no TV in the room, complained and it arrived at 9pm when I was getting in bed. No chair or desk (I was on business and need these items). Black mould wound window frames and excessive dust on shower extractor fan and above the curtain rail. The bed was like sleeping on a bag of rocks, very poor quality mattress. think I have been generous a 2 stars.
A lot of money for not alot!
