- Richard (10/5): - Kitchen was very helpful. Very clean cabin. Will be returning. No cell phone service at this site. We will be back again
- Connie (10/5): - Cowboy Cabin was just the place we needed for one of our sister’s trip nights. It was easy to find and the cabin was roomy enough for three adults with luggage. It was also close to the National Park we were going to hike.
- Kai (10/5): - It is a lovely and unique place to stay
- Sandra (10/5): - Wonderful stay!
- Greg (10/5): - The cowboy cabin was such a fun place to stay! Complete with kitchette! The communication was perfect and check in was simple. The location is slightly out of the main area of town and offered perfectly dark skies for viewing the brilliant stars! We loved sitting on our little porch and watching for shooting stars. This cabin was close enough to local food options and the suggestions offered were appreciated!
- James (10/5): - The cabin was clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend.
- Emily (10/5): - Room was very clean. Had everything we needed. Quit, safe and great views. Also has a sweet welcome dog that said hello.
- Tom (10/5): - We relished our stay here. I would love to return.
The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was soft cotton, not the cheap polyester stuff hotels have that doesn’t breathe.
The stars at night were simply amazing. Make sure you step outside when it’s dark and enjoy the haze of the Milky Way.
The nights were absolutely quiet and I slept very soundly. It was the best sleep I’ve had in years.
It was a bonus when one of the farm’s border collies came over to the cabin and introduced himself. What a sweet dog!
The cabins are about a 5 minute drive from Torrey, a small town with a decent little grocery store and good places to eat. The entrance to Capitol Reef NP is about a 15 minute drive, so the overall location is excellent.
- Julie (10/5): - The cabin was neat, clean, well decorated. The kitchen included a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, while the bathroom had plenty of towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. Check in and out was exceptionally easy and the owner communication was thorough without being overwhelming. The chairs on the front porch allowed us to enjoy the evening and view.
This cabin exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend it.
- Becky (10/5): - Absolutely clean and nice and quiet. Beautiful space with beautiful skies at night. The bed was comfortable and everything was perfect!
- Kevin (10/5): - What a great escape from commercial hotels/motels. The cabins are comfortable and decorated for country and western living. Even though the evening started overcast, we were able to see the stars very early in the morning and the view was outstanding. It definitely was a welcome stay with all the comforts of home.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Cabins were well appointed. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
- Jana (10/5): - Great beds, easy access to restaurants and Capitol Reef
- Susan (10/5): Great stay! - We stayed two nights at these lovely cabins while visiting Capital Reef National Park. Loved seeing the horses and cows and playing with the dogs on the farm. The cabins were clean with very comfortable beds. The family gave us great recs on where to eat and which hikes to take. Make sure you enjoy some Gifford house pies after a hike!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cabin was clean and comfortable. Very close to Capital Reef national park. Porch was a great place to sit and look at the stars at night. This area is an International Dark Sky zone.
- Shannon (10/5): - LOVED this experience for the kids! The property had the most incredible views, friendly owners on site, adorable/comfortable/clean cabins, but the best part was that my kids could see the horses, bulls/cows, chickens, and dogs up close. What a memorable and lovely place to stay in such a beautiful part of the country! Wish we had stayed longer!
- Paul (10/5): - Amazing cabin in a great location. The cabin was well-equipped, clean, and very spacious. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Capitol Reef National Park.
- Megan (10/5): - Really comfortable beds, I slept great
- Isabel (10/5): - The cabin was super comfortable, spacious and clean. Check in was easy and everyone was extremely polite and quick to respond.
A quick 15-20 minute drive to the park and good restaurants.
It was our last night through Utah after a 9 day road trip and arriving here was lovely as it felt like home.
- Lynda (10/5): - Off the beaten path. So relaxing. I’m a horse girl so loved the cabin, the views, comfy beds, amenities available, accessible, great communication.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely little cabin - Lovely little cabin. Comfortable and nicely appointed. Lovely location. There are 2 things I didn’t like, otherwise it was superb.
1). The chemical smell from the cleaner that many hotels use. I absolutely hate that stuff. It’s a spray cleaner.
2). The shade was translucent and it didn’t block the light in the morning.
Would definitely stay again
- Bill (10/5): - The cabin was new and amazing. The location was great and the grounds were fun and unique. We had a personal need when we got there and the staff jumped into action to help us immediately. We would highly recommend it!
- Pamela (10/5): - My husband and I stayed two nights at Cowboy Cabin and it was amazing. We had our own private cabin and parking. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the decor simple but thoughtfully tasteful, and the kitchenette had a nice size fridge with a freezer! The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The shower was great--plenty of pressure, and NO alternating hot and cold. The facility sits very close to Capitol Reef National Park, and there is great dining in Torrey. We heartily recommend Cowboy Cabin and would stay there again if in the area.
- Curt (10/5): You must stay here in Torrey. - Super clean and comfortable cabins. Beautiful views from the front porch. Friendly and accommodating. This is my go to place in Torrey.
