Location is fairly good. Wont be booking again though, for the price you can get premier inn if you book in advance but this was last minute and they were all full.

Rebecca (4/5): Stayed before, won't be returning - We booked our stay as a birthday treat after a flying lesson experience at the local airport earlier that day. We arrived and got to our room at 3.45pm to find our room wasn't cleaned, dirty towels and linens on the floor, the bin full but the bed made. The cleaner worked quickly and was very polite, he scrubbed and cleaned and did an excellent job. The heating did not work and neither did the hot water, the shower was also broken. We were offered to switch rooms upon goin out for the evening but we had somewhere to be, we returned after 11pm to find an extra duvet that we had asked for. The Bed was comfortable but due to the cold room and light streaming through the window and door found little sleep. The door even though locked did not close fully and light from the hallway came in throughout the night as did noise. The window did not have curtains but blinds that I would usually expect to see in an office, because of this the light was persistent. Upon informing the staff of the lack of hot water and heat we were told the boiler mustn't be working. The Tv in the room although switched on had sound issues. The room was freshly decorated in white with purple blinds and a lamp, to the eye the room looks nice but due to the lack of heating, hot water to shower and TV not working correctly was not a nice stay. The breakfast was a good selection for continental. I have stayed here before, a few years ago and found it to be pleasant, we will not be returning

Kevin (4/5): - When we arrived at the property prior to arranging a ground floor room weeks before our arrival we were told that there was no rooms available and then was offered a room on the third floor . As I am a pensioner and disabled ,walk with sticks my wife has chronic heart disease we could not climb three flights of stairs with our luggage and then to be told the lift was out of order and that they had no idea when it would be fixed . So then they agreed to pay me my money back through expedia. but it was not very nice to be told this at 7pm at night and then we had to find somewhere else to stay. so we will definitely not be booking this hotel in the future very poor service and no help to two disabled people .

Check in was quite slow, People infront of us being told to leave a £50 deposit, even though I wasn't asked to,.The lifts dont work so if your on a high floor you might struggle, TV had 1 channel, Place looks lovely from the outside but dated. Our room was clean and tidy, but there was a smell of mould. Its Blackpool, if you're after a place to get your head down after a night out its fine .

Emma (6/5): Won't be returning - Booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children (double with bunk beds). Room was damp smelling, and all our clothes were left damp to the touch. 1 small fan provided but inadequate.Door was very difficult to close and required full body weight and a bang to close it properly. Holes all remained from previous locks. There was a note up in reception to say TV ariels were being upgraded so the room TVs might not work. This was not communicated before our arrival. The toilet cystern was running constantly and the condensation from the toilet was flooding onto the floor. Extractor fan in bathroom did not work. Both were reported to reception during our stay. Fan still did not work and toilet was noisier than before. Breakfast was very disappointing. Continental breakfast with no meats as they hadn't been delivered, a small plate of very sweaty sliced cheese, a toaster and a couple of cereals. Pastries were tiny and fruits was dry oranges and a couple of apples. Coffee was the same instand sticks as in the room, no proper coffee. Certainly not worth what we paid for it. We spent less at a cafe round the corner for a full cooked breakfast for the 4 of us. Last but not least, at midnight on our last night the fire alarm went off. no staff around. A pipe had burst on one of the upper floors and water was pouring down through a light fitting. Fire alarm went off again 20 mins later, lots of people running up and down the hallway banging doors. Needless to say, no sleep that night

Verified traveler (4/5): Will not be stopping there again - Did not get the room we booked we paid extra for a bigger room and we got a small one was told that the pictures on your advert was wrong plus we asked for a lower floor room and we was put on the first floor with the lift not working We was all so asked to pay a deposit of £50 We could not us the shower as one off the doors was missing the sink was slow taking the water away The tv remote did not work So we was not happy with the hotel.

I looked a room with window to floor two chairs and a table and got a tiny box room with the cupboard doors missing as room to small to open the doors . The room was not cleaned once in our 3 night stay . We never got any new towels put in the room or even the bin emptied . The window did not open the skirtings were covered in dirt and dust and mold all over the toilet and shower area . Nice and close Blackpool centre all the entertainment beach and bars

Was non existent no bar open but what put the nail in the coffin for me was the breakfast CONTINENTAL are you serious man this is BlACKPOOL I got some lame excuse that they asked the guests or public and the consensus was continental was just fine well everyone I asked was horrified and said they would not return just because of that so your so called concencus is rubbish ,,just made up ,further proof is just look at practically every street has a cafe selling among other things FULL ENGLISH breakfasts so the upshot is no I did not enjoy my stay and it is a pity the hotel is in a prime spot bang I n the middle of town very good staff just a poor condition

Ciara (10/5): The place you would want to stay in blackpool :) - We came to the hotel not really expecting much for the price but when we got there we were greeted with friendly service truly outstanding place and room for the price you really cant fault it, unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 of the 2 nights we booked due to us just not feeling very well and we just wanted to go home but we really did enjoy our visit and if we could have stayed for that extra night we definitely wouldnt have regretted staying at the royal alaxander, brilliant place

Angela (8/5): - Fantastic value for money and perfect for a visit to the winter gardens Basic but clean room with clean bed linen and towels Tv didnt work but I wasnt sitting in my room to watch tv Lift wasnt working but I was the first floor Kettle lead too short to reach socket and sit on unit, but they provide yorkshire tea bags and well in date milk sachets which were replenished Provide toiletries shampoo shower gel and soap Reception staff very pleasant and helpful Can park on street for 90mins and freem 6pm to 9am Car park at top of street a few minutes walk reasonable (£27 for 3 days) Whilst it looks a bit dated compared to other hotels on the street didxwhat I need it to do for a short stay Able to borrow a hairdryer from reception Didnt book breakfast but continental options

Verified traveler (6/5): Breakfast - Arrived late due to cancelled train someone was there to greet us who was cery pleasent and gave a piece of paper with the wifi on it however we never read it and did see that breakfast was served between 8 and 9 we arrived downstairs at 9.05 ro ve told breakfast was finished i argued the fact it was only 5 mins late after the kitchen staff shouting behind closed doors breakfast is 8 to 9 he came out with 2 eggs and a sausage we ate and left i felt the meet and greet should have specified the breakfast times as we were not the only ones who was going to miss out after paying for breakfast

Royston (6/5): - When checked ladies ask for a £50 deposit I explained that was not on the booking or email conditions she was bit rude saying that does to Expedia then she made Shure I was aware in continental breakfast I stated it said breakfast nothing mentioned about continental so I ask for that to be refunded as I won't of bothered but out all day yesterday was quiet room very standed and basic but for price ok TV did not have a reception no lift as that was also out of order and when I went for breakfast it was a joke the continental was very basic below wat u would normally get on continental it a shame really would I stay here again me no becouse I could stayed somewhere else same price I could got I wanted would I recommend not really as if I don't want to say it want right for recommend
Deborah (8/5): - You get what you pay for. Room was very small bathroom tiny. The shower came off the wall and the the shower doors were loose. Bed wasn't very comfy. Decent stay though but lots of noise from corridor and rooms above.
Rebecca (2/5): - Smelt fusty, noise middle of the night from people coming in. Shower would not stay warm, floorboards creaked and holes in the bedding. Would not recommend

Sean (4/5): - I do not recommend this hotel. I had to pay on arrival as a damage deposit, following checkout i was told that the deposit had been released and I would receive it within 2 days. After a week I have not received the money back and have been charged a further fee of which I have not been told why. A further identical fee was pending in my bank account following this initial unauthorised transaction, when I tried to contact them, the phone number on the website is not theirs and I haven’t been able to reach them. Do not recommend, as they have scammed me!!!
