Guest Reviews
- John (6/5): - Everything average
- David (10/5): - Excellent. One of our favourite pieces in the central West
- Michael (10/5): - It was a beautiful accommodation and will definitely be going back someday soon. Thank to all the staff you are amazing
- frank (10/5): - Yes very good stay longer
- Michael (6/5): - “Style?” over substance. We regretted our 2 night stay.
We had a queen room in The Coach Inn. The basic requirement is a good night’s sleep which was impossible on such a worn out mattress. The bedroom felt small, dark and dingy, even with all available lights on. The pungent smell from horses was hard to ignore, even with all windows and doors shut, because the bedroom was immediately beside the coach staging area. We stayed during winter and found it too warm, even with the air con on.
The kitchenette was well provisioned and the table and chairs good. The bathroom and walk in robe were well lit and roomy.
The Coach Inn is located behind The Staging Post. There was no evening dining and The Staging Post closed at 4pm. After this time, The Coach Inn could only be accessed via the back lane, which might be a safety concern for some. Almost all Wotif photos are of The Stables, which is a different accommodation building across the road from the Staging Post. These are both in a well-lit main street.
- Ilse (10/5): - Really liked the themed decor and everything stable. Receptionist at Welcome Home not very helpful
- James (8/5): - Close to shops and the town centre.
- Thomas and Gabi (4/5): - The air conditioning was loud, which made it difficult to relax. Most windows didn’t have blinds, which affected privacy and comfort. The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, and the toilet paper quality could be improved. Additionally, the TV seemed outdated and could use an upgrade for a better guest experience.
- Jason (6/5): - Very noisy and smelly

- Holly (8/5): - The decor is pretty cool, the fit out of the rooms captures times of yesteryear really well.
Although there are plenty of lamps, It is quite dark in the room, and we had a lot of trouble with the door locks.
- Dan (8/5): - Nice quiet area. Interesting decor.
- Dorothy (8/5): - Great location. Found the room to be a bit dark especially the kitchen area. Could use more lighting. Air conditioner just blew cool air so we were quite cold. Albeit, a nice place to stay.
