Guest Reviews
- Marsa (10/5): - Our room was spacious and perfect for our needs.
- Thomas (6/5): - The staff here don't speak good English, the wi-fi was super slow, the A/C unit wasn't sealed around the window properly (which let bugs in) and the train tracks are so close to the building you can feel the rumbling.
But hey, the doors have electronic locks and the lamps have touch sensors, so that was cool, I guess.
- Charmaine (10/5): - Train train train
- Keith D (2/5): - The hotel was dated to begin with. The room was clean, but there were lots of issues. The bathroom didn't have any soap for washing..just hand soap. There were no facecloths and no floor mat...very unsafe. The wifi was very very very very slow so we were unable to watch live tv. The lighting was poor in the room as well. Music played until midnight, other people were noisy and best of a train ran right beside the hotel through the night and early morning. We couldn't wait to leave. Will NEVER go back.
- Sedney (8/5): - Positives:
1. Mountain views
2. A bit distant from the town proper
3. Very friendly owners, family-owned
4. Close to the railway, if you like trains
5. The floor is not carpeted
6. The room is spacious, there is an extra bed
7. The renovation is amazing
8. There is a bar below.
9. Kuerig machine for coffee
Room for Improvement
1. I hope they can close the gap for the air-conditioning vent on the window
2. Switch the the coffee cups to styrofoam or paper
3. Can be noisy due to the trains and the bar but the noise is down around 11pm
4. I hope they provide sweeteners for the coffee and ear plugs for the noise.
I had a wonderful stay.
- Marc (2/5): - Left and found a different hotel.
- Richard (6/5): - Good for railway connections
- Howard (4/5): - Shouldn’t have to request bed sheets and pillow cases on check in
- Akshay (6/5): - There should be someone at the front desk 24 hrs but there was no one available.
- Stacey (8/5): - This property is perfect for HEAVY sleepers. The room was super clean and huge. The only downfall was the trains came every half hour and blasted their horns because of the crossing. We were fine and found it quite comical but if you really need a good rest probably not a good choice.
Bonus - this hotel allows pets!
- LOUISE (4/5): - We both found the beds too soft, which didn't provide any back support. The bathroom was in terrible condition, requiring repairs. The hotel is directly across from the train tracks, and the noisy trains ran all night.
- Jaime (6/5): - The owners of the hotel are too cheap to provide decent wifi, but the staff member, Tia, (it appears there is only one staff member besides the cleaning staff!) was stellar, wonderfully kind and sweet- she was one of the two only bright spots of my stay there. The owners should be ashamed of themselves, it’s clear she works way too many hours. I felt quite bad for her, but she was lovely.
The other bright spot was the bartender Wesley, he made me feel very welcome (and also made me amazing virgin Caesars LOL). These two gems are the only reason I gave the rating I did otherwise it would be much lower.
Will NEVER stay there again but I might stop by to pay my respects to those two fabulous people.
- Jessica (6/5): - The property is definitely a little rough around the edges but it’s a good place to lay your head at night on a budget. My only complaint would be the train feeling as though it’s going through your room multiple times overnight- however it’s not the fault of the property, but worth considering when booking.
- Melvin (6/5): - Expensive for value
- Paula (8/5): - Staff was nice
- minwoo (10/5): - It’s great place and nice services
- George (6/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean although everything was old and in need of refrehing. I believe that is in progress. The ladies that met us were very helpful. There was no elevator and I have difficulty walking up stairs, however, the staff was very supportive and helpful with our luggage to get it all upstairs. overall we would give them a good mark!
- Frederick (2/5): - No hot water, no wifi
