The hotel is close by to Piraeus harbour and a very short stroll to the centre and around the hotel is newly located Zara and JD sports. The staff are always welcoming. The breakfast had a variety of foods to enjoy.

At best is a 3 star hotel, not at all a 5 star. 7. Awful service at front desk.
- Thomas (8/5): Perfect Hotel for Island Hopping from Athens!! - We loved the fantastic location of the Port Tower Hotel and its delightful rooms and attentive staff. Our included daily buffet breakfast was amazing as well, with so many fresh food options from eggs and juices to quality baked goods. So close to Piraeus Port for easy ferry access and we were able to island hop to several Greek Islands on the Aegean Sea as well as Aegina Island in the Saronic Gulf directly from the Port. Piraeus itself was a surprisingly wonderful part of Athens with nearby waterfront restaurants, cafes, and bars at Marina Zeas as well as many museums and cultural attractions in the area. One minor issue was some music from a nearby dance club (not the fault of the hotel) but management always putting guest needs first was able to rectify our concerns. The beautiful harbor view terrace and quality of the accommodations made the Port Tower a solid and very convenient choice. Only a short taxi to the the city of Athens and the Athens Riviera (Glyfada) beaches and shopping district make the location of this Port hotel ideal. I couldn't say more about the Piraeus area, our premium 4-star water view accommodations, and professional staff and management of this amazing property!!

They were supposed to fill up the service such as water , coffee,…. It didn’t happen and I had to call and ask for it and front desk would demand to come to reception for it. Most horrible, there was no PARKING!!!!!!!!! Had to park the car in a public parking and cab to and from the hotel.

- Robert (2/5): - I sent this email to the property on September 10th but did not receive a response. Please avoid staying on Saturdays and Sundays. We recently stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable place to sleep, which is the fundamental purpose of any hotel stay. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. During our stay, an extremely loud party occurred outside that lasted until 3:00 a.m. The music was unbearable, making it impossible for us—and other guests—to rest. We immediately complained to the front desk, but were told there were no alternative rooms available and that the staff could not assist further. The following morning, while checking out, staff informed us that this is a recurring issue that continues until October. Had we been notified of this in advance, we would not have booked. There is a notice at the front desk mentioning “some noise,” but it did not prepare us for this level of disturbance. Because the hotel did not provide the essential service we paid for—peaceful accommodations—we formally requested a full refund for our stay. We lost a day of our vacation due to the inability to sleep and had to check out at 6:00 a.m. The hotel should be transparent about such events and be prepared to offer compensation or, at a minimum, earplugs to guests. We understand that the loud music was not coming from the hotel, but from a restaurant facing the hotel. This is a problem involving the laws of the city, the hotel and the restaurant.
- Anja Vibeke (6/5): Very noisy room - Vi havde booket en juniorsuite, og forventede en udsigt over havnen, som på billedet, det var der ikke, kun udsigt til et højhus. Værelset var lige ved siden af elevatorerne, og hver gang de blev brugt (af hele hotellet) larmede det på værelset. Døren til værelset var ikke lydisoleret. Det var vinduerne heller ikke, så den nærliggende kirke, som ringede hver halve time gik lige igennem. Der var kun vand i minibaren, og ingen room service. Til gengæld var personalet i receptionen meget serviceminded og imødekommende.

It is in walking distance to the port. Breakfast buffet was average. The doors had close to no soundproofing, so everything happening in the hallway sounded next to your bed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice new hotel steps from Piraeus port and metro - Beautiful hotel and super helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast offered in the morning. The only drawback was the sound insulation- we could hear every little sound from the hallways and echoing in the stairwells, which impaired our sleep. Recommend staying here, but bring your ear plugs or ask for a room away from the stairwell.
