Guest Reviews
- John (8/5): - Everybody was polite and very helpful and the food was delicious
- Ceri (8/5): - Breakfast had good choices and was excellent quality. Do bear in mind that it's in a separate building so you could get wet or cold dependent on the weather. Gets busy at times so can be a wait for service. Room was good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Free wifi in the hotel was good.
- Sumit (8/5): - Great breakfast; beautiful place;
- Russell (10/5): Fantastic value. - Clean room with very helpful staff. Unfortunately I did not have breakfast due to my early starts.
The Wi-Fi was free easy to connect to.
Great value and very comfortable nights sleep.
- Eunice (6/5): - Weak Internet, water goes cold before you finish showering.
- David (10/5): - Plenty of paking. Friendly staff. Rooms are basic but clean.
- Lisa (10/5): - Excellent
- Thomas (10/5): Value for money hotel between Newport and Cardiff - Was met by a very friendly receptionist. Got password for the free WiFi from the desk (signal strength is moderate). Room was clean and well equipped with all essentials. Hotel has many parking spaces available. Had traditional breakfast (£11.95) at the restaurant before leaving which was decent. Prices for rest of the options on the menu were a bit high. Overall, will stay again if needed, thanks!
- Robert (10/5): Great stay - Comfortable stay, great staff
- D J (8/5): Good value for money - Great room at a reasonable price. Breakfast was a little expensive . Super location.
- Vincent (8/5): Recommended. - Under new management speaking to general manager underway in phased refurbishment of hotel and restaurant. Food quality is good and restaurant staff are very warm n tentative. Hotel needs modernising.
- Paul (10/5): - Food in restaurant was outstanding
- Janet (8/5): Good one night stay. - Check in was early with helpful friendly staff. Room was small with one chair if you don’t like sitting on the bed. Well equipped with the usual kettle, hairdryer, extra pillows etc. on a busy dual carriageway so road noise but didn’t bother us. Pub and restaurant in a different building so no noise from there. A good value for money stay.

- Caroline (10/5): - Very friendly & clean comfy rooms
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really lovely hotel, the lady on reception was great- so welcoming and friendly. Room was perfect just for a small get away over night with a lovely restaurant and beer garden.
- Amanda (10/5): - The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very welcome. It was clean and tidy and good value for money. Good parking and very quiet. The room was small but the bed was comfy. Had a good nights sleep and the wifi was good.
- Kathleen (8/5): - Comfortable bed with a hot shower in a quiet room with decent wifi. On site parking…. All good
- Pauline (8/5): - Took quite a while to find our booking when we arrived, Room on the small side, could have been cleaner round skirtings, windows, en-suite floor, however the bedding was immaculate and bed really comfortable. Evening meal in restaurant was lovely and staff super helpful. Breakfast the following morning poor, no decaf tea, they had ran out of tea pots, served under cooked scrambled eggs, when I ordered poached, no tissue in ladies toilet. Overall the hotel was over priced in my opinion
- Lamarr (10/5): - Allowed us to check in early
