Laura (8/5): - The room was rather small. Lights had to be operated by room key/card. TV was not operating. No electric outlet in bathroom. Bedside lamps were very low wattage. On the positive side- there was an elevator, complimentary continental breakfast, great location for walking to restaurants & shops

Kate (6/5): - Although the bathroom was recently renovated and very nice. We had no Wi-Fi service and no television. In 2025 these two things should be reliable for many reasons. The person at the front desk seemed bothered that we checked in and bothered when we asked her questions. The bed was OK, but there was a weird lump in the middle of it that made sleeping for both of us difficult.
Susanne (4/5): - This hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The building feels old and could use better maintenance, and the cleanliness was below expectations. We couldn’t leave the windows open at night because of the street noise, and in the morning we were met with cigarette smoke from the designated smoking area directly below our room. Overall, the experience didn’t match the price point. There are definitely improvements needed—both in facilities and guest comfort—before I could recommend staying here.
Verified traveler (4/5): Nice location but overpriced… - The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful. The staff in the morning were very friendly and helpful. However, the building was very tired and worn considering the premium rate they want. I will not be staying there again anytime soon…
Clara (6/5): - Hôtel d'un point de vu exterieur agréable. Gros bémol la propreté de la chambre... plein de poussières, cheveux et encore des traces d'excréments au toilette. Un bon coup de rafraîchissement ferait du bien. Personnel agréable
alice (8/5): - A great no-frills place for a few nights in this brilliant town. We stayed one night to visit the magical De Barra's and ate an Egyptian meal at a small place nearby. All good -- will stay here again

Annette (8/5): good location, basic but perfect 1 or two nights - beds comfortable and plenty of towels. Shower was not great many of the holes on the shower head blocked. Would help if the room had bedside lamps and more power sockets, also as no food/ bar service it would have been nice to have a water in the room. Room was clean and tidy but could do with a refresh of paint. convenient location and staff were friendly.
