Guest Reviews
- George (4/5): - Poor quality rooms
- leslie allan (4/5): - no breakfast offered, just coffee to go.
pictures must be 20 years old
very very Basic.
Motel 6 and Super 8 share same
location - little confusing
- Andrew (2/5): - This is the worst motel I have stayed in. I have been staying at sub $100 hotels for the last couple months and this one was by far the worst. Flat pillows, uncomfortable bed, no water pressure, a depressing tiny room complete with cigarette or pipe burn on the furniture. The worst was the overwhelming smell of whatever cheap cleaning solution they use. I woke up with a screaming headache. I’m not a picky guy, but this place is trash.
- Fernando (2/5): - It was bad no hot shiwer
- Marissa (2/5): - There wasn’t even breakfast n it was not a welcome staying
- Constant David (8/5): - No breakfast
- Shericka (2/5): - Soooo ghetto!
- Dennis (10/5): - Of all the places with hotels.com this was the best. Room was clean, and the paint did not need to be touched up. The manager and staff were extremely helpful. Everything Air conditioner, tv, restroom were in excellent condition.
- Benito (2/5): - no convenience experienced
- Jason (2/5): - Dumpster Fire of a property
- Dana (2/5): - Drug dealing going on.
- neha (6/5): - There is no breakfast, but nearby areas have good dining options. The hotel is very average.
- Angelina (2/5): - The back lobby was closed and no one answered the phone.
- James (10/5): - Pool
- Miguel (2/5): - No hot water, the bed was really bad. Limited towels.
- Joey (8/5): - Easy check in and it was peaceful
- Ousmane (2/5): - For the rate I paid and not having cleanliness, safety, I simply went back to the desk and give the employee the key back. I could not stay in that room. You did not have even a bar of soap or a glass for people to drink.
Worst part is no hot water!!
- Miguel (2/5): - There’s a lot of bed bugs in the room I stayed , I got infested with .
- Jesus (2/5): - Extremely dirty, had roaches
- Anthony (8/5): - It was quite. And peaceful
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Unclean, facilities smelled heavily of marijuana, terrible service, rude employees
- Jon (4/5): - It’s not actually a Super 8, but the back of a Motel 6. The “complimentary breakfast item” is just a cup of watered down coffee.
- Sorphoan (10/5): - Easy check in and check out. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Many restaurants near by.
- Sareena (4/5): - First of all, this hotel was hard to find because it’s behind another hotel and once you find this place you can’t even check in and have to go back to the hotel in front because they have a combined check in area. The air conditioner in the lobby either wasn’t working or wasn’t working well because it was hotter in there than outside. I felt bad for the poor guy who had to run the lobby when it was that hot. The room was not very clean at all. There was hair in the shower and on the sink and something sticky on the floor near the the bed. The sheets and pillows had obvious stains from makeup so I don’t think the room was cleaned at all prior to my arrival. The staff did get me clean linens when I asked and were very helpful. The stairs were very unsafe bc they were wet from air conditioner runoff. Overall not a great experience and I won’t stay here again if I’m ever in the area.
- Yvonne (2/5): - Black mold in the shower room smells like cigarette smoke and I was in a non smoking room the freezer had a built up of ice so couldn’t use it.. the mattress you can feel the spring and the floor had our feet black from dirt
- NALEANA (10/5): - HOUSEKEEPING HAS TO DO BETTER THE ROOM WAS FILTHY
- alan (8/5): - Rooms service was better than most
- Fidel (10/5): - I like everything from here
- Lesly (10/5): - Great
- Jessica (2/5): - The manager needs to be fired for lies ill be down there to talk to the owner
- Jose (10/5): - Great place
- Randy (10/5): - Everything good
- bradley (6/5): - Advertised as having a free breakfast but there was no breakfast, free or otherwise. The rooms were small and generally not very comfortable
- Fidel (10/5): - N/A
- Stephanie (2/5): - Room was dirty, smelled like marijuana and cigarette's, the area was sketchy will not stay again
- Laudenia (2/5): - This place was horriblw
- Hector Raul (10/5): - Look scary first but was nice, quiet, and safe. Great price
- Reyna (10/5): - Very clean
- Jose (6/5): - Average
- Colin (2/5): Disregard Saftey - The room next to me played loud music all night and told front office repeatedly. They didn’t do anything. Then the guests in next room started an argument and beat each other, nothing was done.
- Ramakrishna (6/5): - Good for short term stay!
- Liliana (2/5): - I ordered a 2 bed room, when I checked in the gentleman told me that he didn’t have it and there was no hot water.
- Loretta (2/5): - Room was not available check in and very dirty
- CARLA (4/5): - Too many young and intoxicated people hanging out around the hotel.
- Tania Bueno (2/5): False advertising! - No breakfast, even though they claim they offer it.. terrible location, my truck was broken into during our stay, gunshots heard ever night
- Stephen (6/5): - Very soft mattress I dropped something in the floor when I went to pick it up a lot of dust under the bed. Reception was very slow at the counter people were queuing out of the main office door
- Marilyn (6/5): - I don't think they cleaned the rooms' walls. There were many spots that looked like insects had been killed, but the spots weren't wiped down. Also, there was a spot of blood on the bathroom wall next to the shower. It looked like someone had punched the wall - it needs to be patched up.
Lastly (and most disappointing of all), there was no breakfast included. The hotel offers free coffee for guests at the lobby, but that is it. When I booked, I specifically wanted a hotel that served breakfast.
- Jair (2/5): - No door at bathroom
- Mia (2/5): - So I paid full price and room protection upon arrival the lady said all rooms were fully booked. I asked for a refund and she said come online
- Martel (2/5): Nothing discribed in the add complete opposite - First of all I didn't take any pictures because I didn't think about that because I was overwhelmed with disgust anger and sadness. The price was an amazing deal or so I thought until the time of my check in. First red flag was the location, right away upon pulling up to the property I noticed it was a motel 6 when I reserved a room at super 8 which was actually the back half of the motel 6 rooms. 2nd red flag was I had to check in at the motel 6 which was unsanitary and had a bad smell. 3rd the pic they Have on the website is a completely different motel. Not only was it not upgraded it smelled bad there was no comforter on the bed that was advertised as a queen but was actually a full size bed I know because I own a queen so that was a major lie. The worst part of it all I payed for amenities I didn't receive such as a queen bed and free breakfast that nobody mention at check in nor did they tell us a time to get food. The windows didn't open as well as the AC not working for all that I would give it a -5 out of 5 and not recommended motel super 6 or 8 cause clearly they confused. Honestly I'm going to request a refund and forget I ever stayed there.
- Andrew (6/5): Wow - They are good but they charged me twice. I still haven’t got my money back.
- Jenn (2/5): - The staff person was really nice but the rooms were
- Laquanna (2/5): - We came in pretty late 1am sheets very questionable to if they were clean or dirty. We wake to take a shower NO hot water. I go to the front desk tell her about the water. She replied "I don't why they gave that room that building doesn't have hot water". Omg she gave us another room to shower let's just say it's wasn't that much better. I now know spending over 150+ is needed also No breakfast as mentioned. I didn't see any roaches SO happy about that.
- jacqueline (2/5): - The room looks like it’s been through lots of turnover aged. It needs an upgrade new doors and such.
- Pablo (10/5): - Friendly staff all around
- Thao (2/5): - We check in and we’re informed that there is no hot water so we have to cancel all the booked rooms. We have to go to other hotels to register for four rooms more expensive because the last minute we have no choice. This is a terrible experience with Supper 8 and Expedia
- Emiliano (10/5): - Good
- Amarjit (4/5): - A
- Jose (10/5): - Great
- Jennifer (4/5): Lack luster Accommodation - Hair on towels, pillows, and sheets. Spider on pillow. Beds lacking adequate covers for comfort. Old spring mattresses. One mattress was uneven and stiff as a board. No hair dryer. No complementary shower products provided. Bathroom exhaust fan was filthy. Advertised free breakfast but nothing available.
- Jose (8/5): - Everything went great.,wifi needs an upgrade
- Melissa (10/5): - Staff was nice, room was GROSS!
- Paul (8/5): - The property was advertised as offering continental breakfast which it does not. They have a pool but it was closed for maintenance. The clerk on the desk refused to get a roll of toilet paper because he said he couldnt leave the desk and there was no one else available to help. Very poor service.
- Cris (8/5): - You get what you paid for. Nice service and nice room
- Dave (10/5): - Nice
- Janett I (4/5): - The staff were great, very polite and helpful.
Unfortunately, the room was very dirty and outdated. The curtains were burned, the air vents were extremely dirty ( terrible for me I have asthma) the toilet seat was broken. The mattress was the worst part. The minute you layed down it curved. They really need to change the mattress every 6 months. On the website it says breakfast included and they only offer black coffee. I will never stay at this hotel again as a matter of fact I canceled the following day and went to another hotel.
- Sheila (2/5): Never Again - The room was not very clean. There were old crumbs under the bed and mold around the shower. The sheet on my bed had tears in it and my daughter’s sheet was dirty. I could have been okay with all of those things. The one thing that made my stay pretty much unbearable was that the door to the adjoining room did not lock. That is down right scary. I called the front desk when I realized this (we checked in at 10:00pm). It was midnight, she asked if we wanted to switch rooms and I said yes. She said she was busy right then, could I call back in five minutes and that she didn’t even know if she had a room to switch me into. At that point, I simply moved the refrigerator and microwave in front of the door and prayed for the best. I had my fifteen year old daughter with me. Two females in the room by ourselves in a strange and scary part of San Jose. We won’t stay here again.
- Arlene (6/5): - Bed no good like a pull out bed felt like sleeping on springs
- Angela (2/5): no hot water- no discount, wth - checked in and they told us there was no hot water
- dana (8/5): - Room smelt way too strong if fabuloso or some cleaning product and bathroom light went out shorty after we got in the room
- Arlene (8/5): - It was what we expected given the price and it was just fine. Female staff at reception was especially helpful
- Nancy (6/5): - The room was ok but not clean
- Keith (6/5): - Convenient
- Gisela (4/5): - On the website, it says free breakfast that was a lie when I checked in I was told there was only coffee when I checked out at 6 AM. There was no coffee. My room was dirty. There was a hole in the bathroom wall, but the bed was comfortable.
- Patricia (10/5): - I still ok ther, but please change, matress 👍👍👍
- Patricia (10/5): - Good
- Lourdes (4/5): - Noisy, very dirty and not what the website shows .
- charles (8/5): Good for a business trip. - The staff was very helpful. They fixed my WiFi access. The room was attended to every day.
- Enrique (10/5): - Gray
- Jazmine (6/5): - .
- Jackson (4/5): - This property is great for traveling tradespeople. I would not recommend it for a family destination. It is being taken over by Motel 6 which is the A to the B of the address.
- Nathan (6/5): - There was no free breakfast like stated in the descriptions and room was dirty
- Neil (10/5): - i was surprised how nice the room was, it had everything you needed . i was very happy with everything,
- Luis (10/5): - all very well thank you very much
- Carmela (8/5): - The place was good and all, but the atmosphere when arriving was an uneasy feeling. Upon seeing the sign in the parking lot, “Lock your property. Not responsible for any break ins or theft”, really set the place as unsafe.
- Isaak (10/5): - It was simple and easy
- Isaak (10/5): - It was good just what I needed
- Maria (8/5): - Estaba limpia y organisada y muy tranquila la doña mucho parqueo
- Jose (8/5): - Quick and quiet, goód service no problems
- Maria (8/5): - Todo está bien sólo q no tenía agua fría y no avía jabón pero el lugar está bien
- Rose (2/5): - Other nearby rooms very loud music party. The front desk staff failed to address the issue. The room smelled of burnt marijuana. The bed had no bed springs and the mattress was very cheap and uncomfortable. The manager did not call me about my concerns as I was told.
- henry (6/5): - My stay there didn't start off well. I checked into my room, got my key and went to my room. The card key did not work. I had to go back to the office and get a new key. With the new key, I went to my room, opened the door and the room was a mess. Obviously the cleaning crew hadn't gotten there yet. Went back to the office and they had to give me a different room. No big deal. My new room was right next to the swimming pool area. The swimming pool was green and looked like a swamp. Oh well, I'm not really in shape to swim. Lol. The room was small but clean and it was pretty much all I needed. You can't expect a lot when you are paying an economy price. At night, the parking lot area is kinda sketchy but i didn't have any problems. Overall, my stay went fine. I would recommend this place if you are on a tight budget. If you are thin skinned and prefer a 4 star motel, book elsewhere.
