Guest Reviews
- Pam (6/5): - The staff we met were wonderful! Very kind and friendly. They only speak a little English, but are skilled at using a translation app, so communication was fine. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable with very soft linens. The bathroom was newly updated and the shower was nice & hot. Plenty of linens were provided. I selected this hotel so I could prepay and so we could do laundry and it included breakfast. Upon arrival we wanted to do laundry, but because there was an additional unexpected 6 Euros tax plus 20 Euros only payable in cash, to arrange our transport to a hotel, all our cash was gone. It would have been a 40 minute round trip walk in the rain to an ATM that wasn’t closed, so we have to do laundry in the next phase of our trip. The laundry facility is across a very busy street. It’s owned by the same people, but is not at the hotel as advertised. There is no elevator, so a young girl helped us take our luggage up the stairs. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. Breakfast was at an intensely busy bar across the busy street from the hotel. There was a dining room at the hotel and it was unclear why some guests could use that but we had to go across the street. The taxi/shuttle to the cruise terminal was great! It’s 10 Euros per person. Very good price!
- Michael (10/5): - We went from Rome via shuttle to the house of Sun Garden in preparation for our Celebrity Cruise. We were greeted by the owner who made sure we were settled into our units, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice, although very basic, were on the second floor and comfortable. In addition the security required to get into the property and the rooms was impressive. In some reviews, it was noted that the unit was close enough to walk to the Celebrity Cruise line but probably not accurate. The owner made sure we had our transportation needs met via a paid shuttle to the cruise line dock, one less thing to worry about. The owner was kind enough to comp us coffee and pastries at the shop across the street for a morning treat which was very much appreciated.
- Anabelle (10/5): - Very nice hotel. The room was beautifully decorated. Loved the bathroom. The staff super friendly and accommodating. They included a nice breakfast with croissants, sandwiches and amazing cappuccino. Close to the shops, restaurants and port. We were considering taking a shuttle to the port after checking out but it was close enough that we walked instead.
- Kathryn (6/5): - Room was clean, but very noisy area with street noise. It was very confusing when first arrive, TV did not work and no response to get fixed. No response on shuttle service to port.
- SALVATORE (6/5): - Was nice but far from port area
- Catrina (10/5): - I really liked this place. It’s very clean and safe. I was there for two nights in July 2025 and I would definitely book again if I ever travel back to Rome. Just make sure you know your door# because there’s no front desk clerk. You click the intercom button and once you say you’re there for check in… you are buzzed in.
I have no complaints about my stay… very quiet and secluded.
