Guest Reviews
- Jill (10/5): - The well-stocked kitchen with kitchen island and bar stools worked well for our group of four. The mattresses were comfortable, not too hard and not too soft, just right. The bath towels were plush and large. We would absolutely stay here again. There are a few things to be aware of. There was a raised wood strip between the wood floor in the kitchen to the wood floor in the living area. Until we got used to this, we "tripped" over the strip a few times. For our group, it would have been more convenient if the coded key lock were at the back door where there are no steps instead of the front door, which takes several steps to get to. Each time we came back to the home, one of us would enter through the front door then unlock the back door for the rest of us to enter. This final comment is probably particular to Vermont, but this home was about 1.5 miles down a well-maintained dirt road. We were in town for a wedding and the wedding venue, as well as several other places we went, were on long, mostly well-maintained dirt roads, also. Depending on how particular you are about your car, keep this in mind. My RAV4, with about 14,000 miles, was cleaned, serviced, and tires rotated a few days prior to the trip to Vermont. A "maintenance service" light for headlamp came on shortly after arriving in Vermont and driving on dirt roads, and the tire pressure has been off some. I figure the headlamp got shaken loose and am optimistic this can be easily fixed.
