There were insects flying around. The party that was with us had to be moved too. The room had no refrigerator. That room also was dirty and smelled too like mold.

- David (2/5): - Absolute the worst hotel ever stayed it. It is so run down it does not look anything like the pictures. All pool were closed and not working. No housekeeping you must take the dirty towels to the front office every day and exchange them. No parking no where close to the hotel you must park two blocks away and walk. We had to wait for over three hours to get toilet tissue and towels when we first got there because there was none in the room. Beds were super hard, no iron or ironing board, tv sitting on a table and not hanging no telephone. Terrible terrible please read all the reviews and DO NOT STAY HERE.

Bad things There was no house keeping during our stay Our rooms floor was dirty it wasn’t cleaned the right way when we first got there We only had 1/4 of toilet paper No trash bags in the room and just 1 thrash can Pools were closed Parking lot was also closed Good A/c worked perfectly 2 min away from the beach Beds were comfortable Room was big Noise free area We had microwave , mini fridge and coffee machine inside the room
- elizabeth (2/5): Do not book here. You have been warned - The rooms were clean. That's the only plus. Now for the good stuff No parking. Had to fight for spots. Hot water was nonexistent. Coffee maker didn't work. Balcony in room was off limits with a sign. Pillows were half size. All pools were closed and in need of severe repairs. No TV. Beach front had no furniture. Exterior was badly worn from environment. Parking Garage is closed and under repairs. Lobby was at another building and never open in the morning. The hallways always smelled like Marijuana when the building obviously states "No Smoking" Only a few vehicles had the parking permit in window, so obviously parking was not enforced. The whole experience has made us not want to ever go back to Myrtle Beach. Just an entire garbage of a hotel. Absolute trash

To say the least, we were relieved even though we had to then find a room on a peak Saturday night. Avoid at all cost!

- Patrick (2/5): Completely disappointed - The pictures of this "resort" are nit representative of the property. None of the pools, restaurants, nor the fitness are open. We reserved a king sized bed with a kitchenette. We got 2 douole beds with no kitchenette. There were no linens in the room. They informed us when we arrived they didnt have that available. Half the rooms dont have tvs and there is no WiFi. They are under new management and need to renovate the entire property before anyone should stay there.

I booked a 4 bedroom apartment for June 20-22, 2025 which is not even offered and now I am having issues being refunded even though it was false advertising and I didn’t stay there, misrepresentation and fraudulent! It is literally illegal to allow someone to purchase something that isn’t offered and then not refund them! Do not book here it’s a scam and they will lie over and over about refunds! I have contacted the BBB and the FTC!

First the pictures are very misleading and the hotel doesn’t have anything to offer as it was stated. The rooms had bugs and poop on the wall, the elevator did not work and the fire alarms were ripped from the walls! Trash left in the rooms and beds not made up. There was no towels, tissue, nor soap in the room. The pool area was NASTY no way anyone could swim in it, there was trash piled up along side the walk way. The t.v. Did not work and there was no WIFI! It was supposed to have a mini fridge but there was no fridge the bath tub was nasty and the shower curtain had mold all on the. The building reeked of hot piss. This was a disaster and very disappointing! This hotel should be closed immediately. The parking was horrible you have to parked one to two blocks away just to get parking. The parking garage that’s is delegated for this hotel is due to fall in at anytime and let’s not forget that the name of the hotel thats being advertised is not the actual name of the hotel! The name is Sea Mist something totally different than what’s on hotel.com never again! The staff was cool but still no help no one knew anything and pretended to be surprised that the rooms we this filthy! There were multiple guest in the lobby at one time with the same issue so this wasn’t just a missed room the was a whole jacked up hotel not just one of there buildings but ALL of there buildings! They need to do better because this ain’t it! Just nasty!

The pools look like still water that looked and smelled toxic, the room was disguising, parking was crazy. Walking to the room all i could smell was a sewer smell, like someone was smoking weed, diapers and trash all over the place. Elevator never worked so we walked too many times on stairs. No pools. One had green dirty water and the other one had old beer bottles and looked unclean. The name of the Hotel is Sea Crest not the name posted in this add, so I was going between three hotels trying to find the right one. The toilet clogged on our first day and we had to buy our own plunger. Not well maintained.

- kelley (4/5): - Well for starters it was false advertising for real because the hotel didn't look like nothing online at all. Also it went by a different name. I put in for ocean view and I didn't get that at all. Also the bathroom didn't have hand soap to wash your hands with so we had to wash our hands with shampoo. Also the TV had to be hooked up to wifi to watch it. Also I had to kill a spider on the shower curtain out first day there.

Going to our room there was a dirty pair of underwear thrown down on the steps. It got worse from there. We went back to the reception desk and asked for a refund. They stated they had requested one. My wife called Hotels.Com to verify. They had not done so. She filed for a refund, Three days later we get a message from Hotels.com stating they could not get in touch with them, therefore, no refund. One number is in New York - it disconnects and the other's mailbox is full. Avoid this place like the plague!

Bait and switch room from queen beds to full beds and I paid extra for the pull out couch that was not there. Double booked our room so someone with a key walked in on my son. That’s dangerous! And it happened to several other guests as well.

- Jessica (2/5): - This review is mainly for Experian. The resort that they have listed or that they have allowed to be listed on their website does not actually exist. I booked this for my family because we were coming down for an event for my nephew. The hotel listed does not even exist in the address that’s listed under the hotel takes you to another completely different hotel called sea mist.. which have rooms and set up not when I paid for. I don’t understand how there is no filter for experience to check and make sure that the hotels that are listed our actual hotels and listings that are true to what they are.. needless to say my family and I did not even have a room while experiencing did give us our refund back. I would’ve preferred to stay in a room. My family and I had to sleep in the car. When I spoke to the representative of experience, they two seemed baffled that the hotel was a hotel that didn’t existed in the hotel that it routed me to canceled my reservation due to “unforeseen circumstances” when I asked them why was I not notified that my reservation was canceled they said that Experian should have notified me and if I didn’t get one then that means my email must have “gotten stuck somewhere” their exact words. I spoke to two different representatives for Experian. The second Rep was supposedly management or supervisor. They tried to accommodate me by having me pay more than double for a room than what I originally paid for. To to which I declined. There is more.

It smelled of Marijuana and you could hear people arguing loudly in the rooms around the one we were assigned. FeltVERY unsafe!! The checkin office was hot as the air conditioning mest have been broken and the entrance door handle was missing.
