- Melissa (10/5): - Stunning hotel in an amazing location! So easy to get over to the “Porto” side but also great location for accessing the cellars and park etc of Gaia. The hotel is spotless, very well thought out and considered and has good amenities. The breakfast is worth paying for! The views are great, staff very friendly and we would not hesitate to come back. The only criticism is that it would be good to have access to a coffee machine in room/ in a shared area as I feel other hotels at a similar price point offer this and we did miss this in our stay but that’s a very minor point! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

- Keshia (10/5): Amazingg!!! - We had an amazing stay in River Soul hotel. It was modern and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The view from the roof bar is unbelievable and such a good location for all the best spots around town. We were there for a birthday and they evening surprised us with a lovely bottle of fizz and cake when we arrived back from a day out!! Such a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

- John (10/5): - Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good quality. Room was nice but a bit small. Washroom facilities were good. Wife uses an electric chair for travelling. There was no ramp from entrance to street and the side walk. The side walk on our side of the street was always blocked by customers off the restaurant up the street. Need a ramp to side walk on both sides of street so yoi can cross road in front of hotel or work with neighbours to make sure sidewalk is left with enough room to get by with wheel chair.

- Christian (10/5): - Super locatie met alles binnen handbereik. Alles is modern, netjes en in zeer goede staat. Smaakvolle inrichting. Perfect uitzicht vanaf het terras met zwembad en ligstoelen. Zwembad is wel klein. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Schone kamers van alle gemakken voorzien, al is er geen waterkoker voor thee of een koffiemachine op de kamer. Wel gratis flessen water. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Each staff member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the cleaners were fantastic- our room was spotless. We will certainly stay again! The only thing I would say is that they could do with 2 chairs on the balcony. It's fine as there is another chair in the room, but it's too big to fit both chairs outside. They also offer free luggage storage after checkout which is really helpful.

- Paula Marie (10/5): - A wonderful week at this new hotel on the Gaia side overlooking Porto. Very close to the lower level of Luis I bridge so easy to walk into Porto. The views were breathtaking, one you would never be bored looking at. The pool area is relaxing but as you should expect, gets busy and had to wait for sun loungers, however, there are seats too. Breakfast was always fresh and plentiful, a nice way to start the day. Porto is a great place to stay for excursions further afield (we did Braga and Guimarães) but locally the wine cellars a must especially three ports and chocolate (Calem.) We also enjoyed the cathedral, boat trip and tower. Food is Porto is varied and delicious, something for everyone.

- Su Gyeong (4/5): - 복도에 새거 냄새는 나는데 방에는 이상하게 하수구 냄새가 난다 복도 엘베 비상구 방호실 표시가 잘 안되어 있다 수영장은 들어가서 수영이 불가한 자쿠지 수준이고 아침은 그 절반의 가격을 냈던 호스텔 조식과 큰 차이가 없다 방에는 가운도 비치되어 있지않고 예약시 명시되었던 세탁서비스는 아직 신생호텔이라 제공되지 않는단다 조식 서비스가 시작된 이후에도 테라스를 정리하느라 어수선하고 빈그릇은 바로 치워지지않는다 아직 오픈해서는 안되는 수준의 호텔이다

- Denise (10/5): - Klein, fein und mit traumhafter Aussicht Wir haben kürzlich in diesem neu eröffneten Boutique-Hotel übernachtet und waren rundum begeistert. Das Hotel ist klein, aber sehr stilvoll eingerichtet – mit viel Liebe zum Detail und in einem gepflegten, modernen Ambiente. Alles war absolut sauber und gut in Schuss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage auf der Gaia-Seite des Flusses – direkt neben der berühmten Luis-I-Brücke. Von hier aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über den Douro auf die Altstadt von Porto. Der Poolbereich ist schön gestaltet, allerdings gibt es nur wenige Liegen – das sollte man wissen, wenn man viel Zeit dort verbringen möchte. Insgesamt aber ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die ein charmantes, ruhiges Hotel mit Top-Lage und tollem Ausblick suchen!
