Guest Reviews
- Centurylink (10/5): - Absolutely a special little find - nice and comfy and great service
- Richard (10/5): - Check in was etraordinarily good. The staff was extremely friendly, giving us cold bottled water that he offered. With the fan on in the room, we did not hear the train just across the highway unless we were already awake. The bed was very comfortable and had very nice bedding. The parking lot was small, but there was additional parking in an adjacent lot.
- David (4/5): - The front desk was very nice. Room was clean. Feel like they are trying to improve the motel because I saw some new fixtures, etc. So, an A for effort, but a D for delivery. Roku TV was worthless. Internet was worthless. Could not adjust water in shower- Only hot water - ouch! Deadbolt lock would not engage. No safety chain. Area does seems safe however. If you like freight train rumbling noises at night (which I do), you will hear it all night long. Mattress was a bit hard.
- Nancy (10/5): Very friendly front office - Yes & yes
- BRENDA (10/5): - The room smelled fresh and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. One problem was that they were platform beds and the mattresses did not fully cover them so the corners stuck out further than the end of the mattresses and was a shin killer.
There is a train track just across the street so it was noisy all night.
- Loalee (10/5): - Clean room, friendly staff
- Bill (10/5): - Motel staff was courteous and attentive. I will stay here again.
- Susan (10/5): - Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The building is dated, but the bed and the recliner and the desk chair were all new, and everything was very clean. My only complaint is that there were not enough outlets for all of my electronics.
- kerstin (10/5): - newly renovated rooms. Trust we where first guests in our room. The guy in the reception where really friendly.
- Robert (10/5): - Gorgeous view of the mountain and surrounding area! A very nice find on Route 66 - great management and the staff is awesome! Room is very clean and looks newly renovated. Fridge and microwave make staying easy and comfortable! Highly Recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay on Route 66!
- Debra (10/5): - The staff were incredibly friendly, and the view from the window was fantastic! The single bed room with a recliner was clean and spacious. Had a great sleep thanks to the super comfy, fluffy blanket and the amazing mattress. I’ll definitely be coming back!
- Jeff (10/5): - Clean, nice management.
- Bryan (10/5): - Everything was simply wonderful — from the friendly front desk staff to the cozy comfort of my room. The space was spotless and well-maintained, and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room made things so convenient and added a thoughtful touch to my stay. I couldn’t be happier with my experience!
- Susan (10/5): - I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property, nestled against a wonderful mountain backdrop. The room was very clean and smelled wonderfully fresh, and the bed was comfortable, just perfect for a restful night. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay. The entire property is in excellent condition, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.
- Lorna (2/5): - The bed was terrible. Lots of train and traffic noise
- Mei (10/5): - Great mountain views right outside! The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. This newly renovated gem on Route 66 made us feel instantly at home. Everything from the bed and TV to the appliances and linens seemed brand new. We had such a restful stay, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable getaway.
