Guest Reviews
- Ian (8/5): - Good
- paula (10/5): Lovely Hotel, great location. - Lovely big room and Bathroom, very clean. Friendly helpful staff. No noise from pub below and it was a Saturday Night. Lots of eateries around and very central. Hairdryer and fan in room.
- Robert (2/5): - I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. At about 15:30 I had to check into ANOTHER hotel as I had meetings in Corbridge at 16:15. On returning to Hexham I noted the pub was open and I spoke to the manager about the issues I had. He apologised but claimed it wasn't his fault. If I make a booking and my money is taken I will expect that you are open and accept my check-in. You Sir accepted no responsibility and gave mealy-mouthed and pithy replies. You had no plan B and never replied to any of my phone calls. Weak and pathetic management. You should hand over management to professional business people. According to people I spoke with coming out of the Globe pub this isn't the first time this situation has happened. Get a grip.
- Edward Earl (10/5): - This was a clean place with lots if room.
The owner has done major renovations and I enjoyed having a beer and visiting with a few regulars.
