Gute Verkehrsanbjndung mit Tram und Metro (Station Sishane 10-15 min zu Fuß erreichbar, beste und günstigste Option für Fahrt zum neuen Flughafen IST, mit Istanbulcart nur 70 Lira ohne way! Ordentliches Bad, relativ neu hergerichtet. Kein Frühstück, keine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit (nur Schreibtischhocker, obwohl Platz genug)

Kleine Gassen mit Restaurants, Cafés & Bars in der Nachbarschaft. Wir haben fussläufig viel erreicht (blaue Moschee, Taksim-Platz etc) Moschee direkt neben dran um 5:00 Uhr ist man wach aufgrund des Gebetsruf.

Lo mejor, sin duda, ha sido la ubicación: aunque el hotel no está en pleno núcleo turístico, se encuentra en una zona muy bien comunicada y cómoda para llegar andando a los principales reclamos turísticos de la ciudad. Además, es el barrio de moda en cuanto a bares y restaurantes, así que al volver al hotel teníamos un montón de opciones para cenar o tomar algo. Un acierto. La limpieza también nos sorprendió gratamente, tanto en la habitación como en las zonas comunes; se nota que cuidan mucho ese aspecto. En general, una muy buena experiencia que repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Como punto a tener en cuenta, el hotel no ofrece servicios extra como desayuno, restaurante, etc. Esto puede ser un inconveniente o una ventaja según lo que cada uno busque; en nuestro caso lo vivimos como una ventaja, ya que la zona invita precisamente a salir a descubrir sitios. El personal, muy amable y atento, aunque conviene tomar sus recomendaciones con cierta cautela, porque no siempre acertaron con las nuestras. En conjunto, una muy buena experiencia que repetiríamos sin dudarlo.
• Doaa (10/5): I recommend this place for a good location and good Price-Value - The Location ist simply amazing. The Tram stop Tophane is directly infront of the Hotel door. Galataport is 5 minutes walk. Karakoy just 10 minutes walk. Tophane is a very lively area. The Hotelstaff are very nice and helpful. Housekeeping comes everyday and cleans the room, you get clean towels everyday. There was nothing to really complain about. Just The bathroom was a little old and the shower did not work well at first. However, the hotel staff — especially Mehmet — was very helpful and responsive. They fixed the shower on the second day, and afterwards we had no more problems. Overall, we appreciated the friendly service and support during our stay.

• EDUARDO (5/5): Hotel de média qualidade - Hotel na melhor localização da cidade, perto de tudo. O quarto estava com muitos problemas, detalhes que fizeram a experiência não ser boa, por isso nota 5. Vários problemas na infra do quarto, o chuveiro se ligar com alta pressão solta e molha todo o banheiro, a luz do banheiro, ao lado do espelho já funcionava, a TV não funcionava. A geladeira não gelava bem. Poderiam colocar sensores de presença para acionar as luzes dos corredores, pois ficam ligadas a noite inteira deixando o quarto claro e atrapalham um pouoc, seria um vantagem pro hotel de economia de energia tambem.

• Merve (10/5): - Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und können es insgesamt absolut weiterempfehlen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die hervorragende Lage – besser geht es kaum. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle befindet sich direkt nebenan und auch der Galataport ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, was den Aufenthalt sehr bequem und entspannt gemacht hat. Ein großes Lob geht an das gesamte Personal. Vom Empfang bis hin zum Reinigungsteam waren alle durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Man wurde jederzeit mit einem Lächeln begrüßt und hatte stets das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Auch bei einem kurzfristigen Stromausfall wurde sofort reagiert und sich umgehend darum gekümmert – sehr professionell. Die Sauberkeit im Hotel war insgesamt sehr gut. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Handtücher täglich gewechselt wurden. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt wäre aus unserer Sicht die Reinigung des Badezimmerbodens, der während unseres Aufenthalts nicht regelmäßig gereinigt wurde. Für uns war das kein großes Problem, da wir nur wenige Tage dort waren und entsprechend vorbereitet waren, aber für andere Gäste könnte das eventuell relevanter sein. Abgesehen davon waren wir rundum zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Istanbul definitiv wieder buchen.
• Chirag (10/5): Would stay here again! - Booked a superior double room, which they gave a lovely corner room. More than enough space as a solo traveller. Shower pressure was great. Right beside a gas station for convenience items, tram at your doorstep that takes you directly to blue mosque, and 10 minute walk to Karakoy ferry terminal that I took to get to Kadikoy, or you can get off at the first stop Eminonu ferry to then take another ferry to the princess islands. Otherwise 25 minute walk easy walk opposite direction to dolmabahce palace, Kabatas ferry terminal to go to princess islands directly. 20 minute walk to taksim square. Safe area and lots of restaurants nearby. All staff are friendly and willing to help. They gave me lots of options to book excursions. Did an evening dinner bhosporus tour 40 euros with pickup and drop off at hotel. Can’t control this but club nearby so can hear the noise during the weekend and also right beside a mosque and so woke up to the prayers early morning. Didn’t mind either.

• Mert (10/5): Excellent stay at the heart of the city with good price / performance ratio! - The location near Galataport and the cleanliness of the rooms were exceptional. The Bosphorus view is just a few steps away (we also took Bosphorus boat tours near Galataport), and the lively street with bars is perfect for evening drinks and relaxation. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly- Ibrahim at reception was particularly accommodating with flexible 24/7 check-in and check-out times. The price-to-performance ratio was excellent. Highly recommended for tourists who want to visit Istanbul and stay close to the historical center! Note: Unlike many hotels in this price range, they also provide a small refrigerator, safe box, and unlimited complimentary water, coffee, and tea with a kettle in the room. Rooms were cleaned daily with great attention to detail. Overall, we stayed without any notable complaints. We really enjoyed our stay at Galata Fil Hotel without encountering any problems and considering coming back :)

Anil, Abrahim and others provided great recommendations and the Hamam that Anil booked for us was exquisite. The cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful and kept our room well stocked and clean. The location was also perfect. We were able to walk to all of the top attractions and quickly learned to enjoy everything the immediate neighborhood offered. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Tram station was near the hotel, so it was very easy to go to the tourist attractions. Stuff was friendly and helpful. If you need info about the city and the Bosphorus cruises one of the three employees in the reception will explain to use everything in detail. The room was tidy everyday. We asked for disposable slippers, and they brought them to our room right away without any delay. We wish we could have clean towels everyday. But I think that if you ask them for clean towels, they will give them to you immediately.

Первую ночь она была включена, - спать было тяжело, - она сильно гудит. Один из выходов на балкон был сломан. Кондиционер - тоже (было не жарко) Ну и естественно, на ресепшн сразу же пытаются продать все возможные доп. услуги.

Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en straalt warmte en gastvrijheid uit, waardoor je je meteen welkom voelt. In het bijzonder wil ik Ibrahim, Aynur, Sedef en Saleh bedanken; zij hebben mijn verblijf extra bijzonder gemaakt en stonden altijd voor mij klaar. Ook de locatie is ideaal: op nog geen minuut lopen van het openbaar vervoer en je bent snel in de stad. Zeker een aanrader.
