• Laila (8/5): - Clean and the bed was really comfortable. Basic. A good location. A bit noisy at night from the bar next door but the music always stops before midnight. The hotel provides ear plugs dos it wasn’t really a problem.
• Zoi (8/5): - The hotel's location is good near to MRT stations. Jeffery, Laura, Gladys,Pan,Sara,Ria and Xue were very warm, welcoming and accomodating. Our stay was short term, so it was It was appreciated that the staff was fast and efficient.

• Sarah-Jane (5/5): We had a great stay but not because of the hotel. - Was a great location in China Town. One of the members of our group ended up with gastro. It was really handy to be able to sit on the toilet (with diarrhoea) and vomit into the shower and then be hosed down as the toilet and shower were both contained in the same separated wet floor area! It's always concerning when you are greeted at reception with "Oh the next door pub and the garbage collection are very noisy so here are some earplugs." We had 3 couples who all paid the same rate but the rooms were very different when it came to space, facilities (cupboard/no cupboard) and windows (or very high tiny windows). It was disappointing.

• Daniel (8/5): A good budget-friendly option in Singapore - Great location in Chinatown. Friendly staff and very accommodating, thanks to Gladys and Feijah. The rooms are very small but OK. There was noise during the evening coming from a bar very close by on the street.

• Edward (8/5): Great location and great price, staff friendly and super close to everything and filled with character. - The view and the location are the best. Especially because it’s in a heritage listed area in Singapore and understanding the age of the building and the history of it goes a long way for what you’re getting. Super close to transport super close to the hawker food centres. The local businesses understood, this is a hotel and even closed by 11 pm to restrict noise for guests comfort. The elevator is a little challenging but it’s probably because it was an old style building and it definitely did the job. Everything else was awesome.

• Chen (9/5): Me and my partner enjoy your short stay in this premises. Will book again. - The location is great to enjoy local Singapore Food and Shopping. To head to town area is also within minutes by Train. The whole hotel is newly renovated and everything is brand new. The building is a heritage felt to Singapore in the 60s. The room did not provide Umbrella. I felt that they should consider to provide it as it is very common to rain in Singapore.

• Laura (10/5): Great place to Explorer Singapore - I had a lovely stay at A Hotel Chinatown in Singapore. The hotel is very nice and located in an excellent position, right in the heart of Chinatown, making it easy to explore the city and get around. What really made the difference, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank you to Gladys, Jeffrey, Bing, and Dora — they were truly fantastic and made me feel very well taken care of throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Nothing, all perfect

• MacroMike (3/5): Uncomfortable - Have stayed previously and had expected the recent renovations to have addressed a few issues. In brief: Very small, insufficient towel holders. Had to ask for hand towel and floor mat for the shower. Badly designed shower in toilet combo... keeping toilet paper handy and dry impossible. Kettle supplied... nothing to stir the drink with, even at reception. Had to go to 7-11. Hot and cold taps mounted wrong meant I had a cold shower. No effort in the renovation to make the limited storage and shelving remotely useful. Should have spent more money on the rooms.... reception looked great!!!

• Micah (6/5): the stay could be good if it is not noisy outside the hotel - the properly look very new which is good too noisy from the nearby bar. cannot rest at all

• Captain Gray (10/5): Clean, old style and central - I hired 4 rooms at the Hotel Chinatown, they were all immaculate and given their small size - sufficient. Location to restaurants and night life excellent. The staff were fantastic when we checked-in. The price was OK given we had arrived during the Grand Prix when everything was at a premium. Water on the floor of the shower/toilet - a squeegee would solve this.
• Michèle (6/5): Lage Top - Rest so lala - Die Lage war spitze! Nettes Personal und das Bett war sehr bequem (ziemlich neu auch). Anscheinend sei es “neu renovier”. Sah leider gar nicht so aus. Boden war alt, Decke hatte einen sehr grossen Riss (haben wir auch gemeldet) und es roch überall etwas alt.
