The hotel is well located. 2 to 3 mins away from every Broadway theater. The staff, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Have recommended this reasonably priced hotel to all my friends
• Mariana (8/5): - The room was small but it had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. My only complaint is the bathroom, the sliding door didn't close completely, so while I was showering (in a very small shower that soaked the entire space) I was cold because the cold air came into the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helped me with my luggage upon arrival.
• Shayaan (8/5): - everything about the hotel was perfect very cozy and safe and clean only problem was the check in staff in the beginning around from 12-3 was very rude and wouldn’t let me check in he showed a lot of attitude and I didn’t like it one bit but then another worker showed up and immediately checked me in with no issues

The mini split unit didnt seem to work, but I’m typically warm so I opened the window as it was cold outside. The biggest issue was there was a creaking noise near my room, like maybe the hallway traffics? I was not able to get to sleep until 1am.

It was safe, near shops, restaurants, and transportation. The room was small, yet perfect. I recommend JG Time Hotel!

• John (6/5): - Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms are tiny and not soundproofed. Totally sufficient if mostly out and about, and if walking stairs works. We saved lots of money compared to nearby options, a good deal if fancy accommodations are not needed.
• young (10/5): - Our room and the facility were very clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. Our room was small as expected. Self serve coffee machine and water access was great! Everything small but efficient! Holding luggage service was added bonus. Don’t be alarmed by a small entrance and check in area. Walking distance to all landmark visits. I will stay again.

• Angela (10/5): - JG Time Hotel is a nice find near Times Square. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff is very helpful. The hotel offers free coffee in a comfortable lounge area in the basement and luggage storage. The only concern is that they do not have an elevator. Our room is on the fifth floor. Luckily, the hotel brought our bags to our room.

They said the room was not ready for the early check in we were promised but thankfully they asked housekeeping to see what they could do and we were in our room about 15 minutes later.

Located in the heart of it all. If you just need a place to crash at the end of your long days in NYC, this is great!

The service was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. Not elevator but it wasn't a problem for me. The only problem is that the shower doesn't have something to stop the water and you end up getting the whole bathroom wet. Anyway, I would come back again since I loved the place.

The room was very clean but the bathroom sliding door didn't work properly and should be bigger to completely cover the bathroom entrance. The staff were very professional, polite, and accommodating.The air conditioning worked very well.

Spend the extra money and upgrade to a better hotel. 4th floor no elevators so be prepared to walk up a bunch of flights to get to your room. After a long day of walking and having fun it was awful. Tv never worked the 4 days we were there. We had to beg for towels. Basically threw them on our bed. Didn’t hang them. We finally got new sheets day three. Staff seemed nice and pleasant. Don’t recommend you stay here. Yes it’s inexpensive but don’t book.
• hernan (10/5): - It was great experience. I wanted to experience nightlife without worrying about much mobility, so the location was quite appropriate. It is clean and comfortable, I would only suggest they put curtains in the bathroom’s window. When I was doing my business in the morning I could see people in the next building’s window. It’s just for commodity. The staff was great. The guy at the checking and the girl at the check out were quite friendly and gave me clear information.

Although the staff were willing to assist with luggage, climbing the stairs was a challenge I also recommended a splash guard for the shower floor as the bathroom flooded after each shower. That required putting the towels and the bath mat to absorb the water for fear that there may be seepage to the lower floor Otherwise, a very good stay

• Christopher (2/5): - They are posing as the Time Hotel by Hyatt nearby. We booked the Expedia expecting to be with the rest of our family at The Time, but were rudely surprised when we arrived. Air conditioner leaked water onto our heads as we tried to sleep. Had to carry our bags up to flights of narrow stairs. Dangerous for us seniors. We would have left immediately to go to The Time, but they were fully booked. We switched to The Time by Hyatt, a block away, the next day. This "business" is only a month old and they have been pirating The Time by Hyatt's clients. There is only one letter difference in their listings on Expedia. This doesn't seem legal or ethical. This place should be avoided, especially by seniors or anyone with a disability.
• Elizabeth (6/5): - The location can’t be beaten. The exterior looks run down. We did feel safe though with the locking front door. The TV’s were not working during our visit. This is a minimalist concept. The bed, though comfortable was crammed against 3 walls so my husband had to crawl over me to get in and out of the bed. The window curtain was not a black out so we had the neon lights from the businesses below creep in all night. There are no nightstands or lighting other than the overhead light. There is a small drop down desk that was mounted too low. There was one small chair. The bathroom was modern but, since the shower had no threshold, the floor, including the cloth bath mat, got wet. So you tracked water from the bathroom across the rug less main room. Although the ceiling level hvac worked well at cooling, there was no way to turn down the fan. It blasted air nonstop whether you wanted it or not. I would choose not to stay there again unless I couldn’t find something cheaper. This room was their “deluxe” at over $400 a night.

I traveled alone and for what i payed for 1 night i could have stayed in much more comfortable and visibly pleasing place, No working TV, funny smell in hallways, i have pictures hope i can upload them a save a few people from the shock and embarrassment
• Daminique (8/5): - The room was small but nice. I’m just pretty sure they didn’t change the sheets from the last person who stayed there because there were stains on the comforter and sheets. And they’re white so it’s hard not to notice. Also when I got up from laying down, there was a blonde hair on my head, and I have black hair. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was literally one block away from Time Square and a lot of public transportation around, so that was very convenient. Heads up there is no elevator so if you’re on the 5th floor, you will be climbing a lot of steps; Like steep, long steps. I didn’t necessarily feel safe, as I was a woman traveling alone, the street is very dark compared to time square, and there were men loitering right outside the hotel. The outside is also not aesthetically pleasing and you truly wouldn’t know it’s a hotel from the outside. I did appreciate that the front door was locked and you had to ring the doorbell to enter the hotel. Overall my stay with them was good besides the sheets and loitering men outside.

• Derek (4/5): - There was no visible notation that the property did not have an elevator on the advertisement. Very difficult to find with no markings or signs above the front door. TV was not working for anyone and front desk said call who you booked with for a discount. Property was still not finished with active painting in progress with wet paint signs. The bathroom was really small, toilet inside the shower. No fire exits other than one down the hall and only one door on the room. The last day there another person with complaints of similar issues. Do not recommend this hotel.
• Andrea (2/5): I would at best call first they are having a hard - First they get you for a 100 deposit that will take some arbitrary amount of time to be returned to you. Then there are NO Elevators, none. Then NO TV'S. Worst of all you are not allowed to adjust the tempature in the room so we had to open the window which looked into an alley cave.
• Elizabeth (4/5): - It was a great location for seeing a show on 46th but I had my husband and son with me and we ended up leaving at 1am to drive back to Philadelphia. The rooms are small which is fine but the walls are thin. The neighbor next to us was talking loudly for HOURS and we couldn't sleep a wink. The cable was out as well so we couldn't even use the TV to drown out the noise. I also called the front desk but it wasn't even the neighbors fault that we could hear his entire conversation. It was the worst hotel sleeping experience that we knew we had to leave for our sanity. Packed my 7-year-old up and left in the middle of the night.
• Ethel (8/5): - This hotel is conveniently located close to everything. I was expecting it to be a dump, but it turned out to be cute and quaint. The downside is that there are no elevators, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs (though someone was there to help me). The TV in my room didn’t work, and the room was quite small, but overall it was a nice stay.

• Andrew (8/5): - In knowing how expensive NYC hotels are, and how cramped most hotels in the city are, I am pleasantly surprised at how accommodating, safe, and pleasant my stay at this hotel was. The main star of this hotel was its staff. The hotel did fall short in some ways (toilet paper, cleanliness, checked me into the wrong room), but the staff addressed all issues as close to immediate as possible. Pros: - affordable - centralized location - service-forward staff - quiet, even when you're in the middle of the city, we could not hear any street noises Cons: - minimal natural light - walk up, but the staff will bring your luggage up/down for you - not the cleanest of hotels, there were a lot of marks left on the walls from either bugs being killed or booger stickers - sealing edge of bathroom sliding door had peeled off before we got into the room In the end, this hotel was close by to everything we needed to do in Manhattan, safe, and affordable. In NY, you can pay a lot more, for a LOT WORSE, and their staff won't match that of this hotel's.
