- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb modern hotel overlooking Lake Com - Borgo le Terraze is a modern, well-appointed hotel with splendid views of Lake Como and Bellagio. Rooms and terraces are very spacious and well-appointed. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and very attentive to guests needs. Free shuttle service to Bellagio is handy and efficient (avoids the parking hassles of Bellagio.) Breakfast and hotel catering are first rate. Views are spectacular.
- Paul (8/5): Very new, constructed in 2007 - Couple, early 60s. All is good with the hotel except you would need to be happy to stay a few kilometres out of town. There is a shuttle bus with fixed times but having your own car is best (as we did). The small car park is a bit hard to manouevre but that might just be me. We stayed in a Lake View room and it truly lived up to its name. Nice balcony although we didn’t use as it was a bit cool. The hotel standard is 4 Star (my rating, not sure what the hotel is actually rated). Room rate we paid was excellent in relation to the standard we received. The Breakfast room has a beautiful view of Lake Como, the breakfast itself is very good and very reasonably priced. The hotel is located on a hillside with panoramic views of Lake Como. With a little bit warmer weather it would be very easy to sit outside and take it all in with a glass of wine.

- SharonK (10/5): A peaceful and tranquil stay - If you need a quiet place with great views, here is the one. The breakfast is good and staff were all pleasant. It's about 5 minutes from the Bellagio town centre but there is a shuttle bus service to and from the hotel. Taxi costs €10 one way. This hotel is highly recommended.

- Garry (10/5): Stunning Lake Como Hotel with Stunning Views - This hotel was an absolute gem. From its high vantage point above Bellagio on Lake Como the first impressions of its location were breath taking. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The room facilities were first class with the room being clean, and everything just worked and we had plenty of space. The terrace balcony from our room was fantastic and the views over the lake and mountain backdrop were superb. Plenty of parking too in an undercover garage and the free, friendly and regular shuttle into Bellagio was a nice additional touch. The breakfast buffet was superb as was the snack bar room service. Could not fault this establishment. Highly recommended for both location, facilities, and attentive staff service.

Upon arrival we were amazed by the spectacular view at hand as the hotel is located on the hieghts near the tip of the peninsula overlooking lake Como. The staff was very helpful and the free shuttles to bellagio are great. Onky downside was that the food left something to ne desired, would recommend going into town or brining your own.

The buffet breakfast was very good, and the shuttle service to Bellagio was great, and we were able to enjoy the restaurants and lake cruises from Bellagio. All personnel went out of their way to be helpful and offer advice. On site, self-service laundry facilities were very helpful. The views from the terrace were breathtaking.

My husband and I visited in October and I must say the view was breathtaking! The hotel itself could use some basic renovations. It's furnished in a very simple decor, but it's clean! The staff is friendly and pleasant! We enjoyed having a shuttle into town. The reason for the mediocre score is mostly due to the room furnishings and lack of a restaurant. For the price, it should have been a bit more luxurious.

- Travellover (10/5): Gorgeous view, nice new rooms. - Nice surprise after long, winding, narrow lane driving to Bellagio. It was a treat to find a nice hotel with beautiful view, that provides shuttle to downtown Bellagio, and free parking space. We stayed in 1 bedroom with living room, that looks and smells like brand new. Also appreciate decent buffet breakfast with lots of fruit choices for 8 Euro per person. The only complaint is the location is not in walking distance to Bellagio Downtown.
- Laura (8/5): Great value hotel, beautiful views. - This is a great little hotel for a getaway to Lake Como. We stayed in one of the studios, which had a fantastic view of the lake. The price/value was really great, very affordable room service and breakfast costs. Nothing too luxurious. It was a little too cold to use the pool while we were there, but it would have been fantastic in warmer weather. Be warned -- this hotel is not super close to downtown Bellagio. They have a shuttle service that runs back and forth, which is great, but it's a nightmare to try and walk there from the Ferry terminal in Bellagio. Make sure you know the shuttle times before you arrive so you can catch a ride to the hotel! There aren't really cabs in Bellagio, and we didn't know that beforehand.

- Annick (10/5): What a view! - A fabulous view out over Lake Como - spectacular! A short shuttle bus ride to the town of Bellagio for an amazing dinner. Only there for one night sadly. Wish it could have been more. Very comfortable room, good selection of food for breakfast, and very polite and helpful staff.
- Angelina (10/5): Out of this world romantic interlude - Borgo Le Terrazze was a perfect spot to stay in Bellagio. Perched high on the hill far from the madding crowd, we had a spacious, well appointed room roverlooking Lake Como with stunning views to die for. The stunning pool would have been perfect had it been a little warmer when we were there. Watching the sun rise over the hills was a treat. The staff were very pleasant and the courtesy bus into & back from the town was much appreciated after some vino. A highly recommended place to stay and I would return in a heartbeat!
- Boris (10/5): Clean, breakfast, parking and more! - We loved our stay! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were greeted and directed where to park and briskly checked in and shown to our room. The room looked recently renovated and very clean. The view out of our balcony was just amazing and very nicely furnished with a bistro set where we could eat. The outdoor pool also enjoys fabulous views. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the downtown area which was very easy to use and only a 5 minute ride. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. They had many options of jams and breads, as well eggs and other items that are typically found in an american breakfast. We definitely recommend this hotel over others.

- Philip (10/5): The place to stay for Bellagio! - Stayed for three nights and it was lovely! We had a great room with a partial view of the lake but don't let that put you off as it was still spectacular from our balcony. Breakfast was excellent. As its a mile or so outside the town centre they run a shuttle bus to Bellagio which is great as you don't really want to take your car there as its so busy. Good underground car park? Very nice pool. Highly recommended!
- Rob (10/5): One of our favorites! - Location: I found it easiest to catch a cab from the ferry landing to get to the hotel. Any cabs we took all knew exactly where to go and price was always the same, 10 euros. Very fair and all professional drivers in nice cars. Of course, there is also a shuttle offered by the hotel and some restaurants, so you easily limit cab usage. Views: Views from the patio and balcony are second to none! Staff: Friendly and ultra accommodating. They managed to even find us a car for early departure (hard to do) so we could get to the train in Varenna on time. Rooms: Spacious and comfortable and great shower. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is because you cannot keep the air condition on/running at your desired temp for more than 20 mins (I timed it). So, if it's warm out and you're used to AC in the states, plan on potentially being hot at night. If they are going to limit my ability to keep the AC on, then a fan would be nice. You can't just turn the AC fan on and leave a door open, as opening the door shuts off the AC altogether. Overall: 4.9 out of 5, We loved Bellagio and we loved our stay! This is a place we will visit again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel, can be difficult to find. - It's a beautiful place when you get there. Some of the most beautiful views. And the rooms are big and very nice. We personally had a really tough time getting there. There is a shuttle so use it. I wish we knew that after we walked from town. Way to far.
- Allan (10/5): A 5 star stay at a 3 star hotel - This hotel is a gem. Bellagio is a mere 5 minutes away but on a hillside location. The views of the lake from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. The 8 Euro breakfast is fantastic. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Nice hotel pool but also only a few minutes to the 'Free' beach just down the street and lakeside. We had a studio apartment that was clean, bright, air-conditioned, and with a lovely bathroom. We also had a terrace where the whole of the lake and its mountainsides could be fully viewed - a scene that will stay in our memories and one few will be lucky to have if simply strolling down the centre of Bellagio itself is all you do. Good undercover parking at the hotel too. I will definitely be going back. Best value-for-money hotel in Bellagio. If you don't stay here, you'll miss one of the great places to stay in Europe!!
