- Andrew (4/5): - Un safe ligthing in bathroom shower dirty tolet you have to lush 3or 5 times before it would empty walls aound beds was drity never seen anyone to report it to only on the day we booked in
- Peter (2/5): One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in - Was a last minute break, room was small, walls looked as if not painted in years, wallpaper coming off the wall, carpet dirty and not fitted properly. Bathroom had broken cracked and missing tills.

- christopher (2/5): Never again - Its really not worth 70 pund a night i had a shower and because the shower tray was all split and broke it blew the electrics in the hotel the ceiling tiels are all damaged and wiers hanging out it needs shutting down and updateing
- M L (6/5): Basic but adequate. - Hotel is situated on the road opposite the South Pier. No Breakfast or a bar unfortunately but if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful just to sleep for a night or two, then it's fine.

- Joanna (6/5): Glad it was only 1 night - Very little security, there was supposed to be a key code to get through the front door… the door was never locked. I’m sure place was last decorated in the 70’s! Dirty net curtains with cigarette burns in them. No towels. Had to go to reception and ask for a toilet roll, to be given one that was literally shredded!! On a plus, the bed was comfy and the bed linen was clean. I wasn’t expecting The Ritz but for £40 a night, i did expect towels and toilet roll!!
- Carole Ann (4/5): - The first room we were in had dead flies on the floor & window sills, cobwebs in the corners & was very outdated. In the early hour of the morning there were scuffling noises coming from the ceiling & the ceiling tiles were being physically lifted by what we can only imagine was by rats or some other rodent. The number for emergencies in the room wasn’t in service however another number was at the reception. We requested a room move which we received without question. No facilities for parking despite Expedia stating limited parking available. Not a very pleasant experience unfortunately.
- Carla (4/5): Needs a heck of work doing to it 😑 - Very run down hotel and needs a heck of alot of TLC...We had dead spiders in our shower that obviously hadn't been cleaned..The blinds in the room were broken and didn't close..The tv was hanging off the wall and didnt work..Only 1 cup in the room for a drink..Tiny tiny bathroom ...No fans in the room even tho the heat was excessive..Very noisy throughout the night...on the plus side there is a lovely cafe called Sallys 2 minutes up the street..

- Lee (4/5): Uncomfortable beds, thread bare carpet no kettle - Greated with a wait when room should have already been ready, room thread bare carpet that i caught my foot in and fell over, vould have been serious, tea items there to make a drink but no kettle ?? Whats the point?? Toilet with no loo roll, luckily i didnt require.. hotel plan shows dining room but no option of breakfast , use of room or even somewhere with use of a kettle before have to check out... mattress was thin, cheap and uncomfortable... bnb means bed N breakfast.. no breakfast and uncomfortable bed means both were lacking ..

- Jamie (4/5): - We came and stayed in a family room , we have 2 little girls they put us in a front room with no curtains up , there was blinds but they was all ripped and half of them was missing , the window was broke in the room so we couldn’t close it and it was freezing there was a night club over the road so it was 10 times louder in the room so the kids couldn’t go to sleep , we asked as soon as we got in could we move rooms and they kept saying we will speak to manager for them to say the manager said no you can’t change. Not worth the money.
- julie (4/5): - The room was a good size with 2 single, 1 double bed, a wardrobe, set of drawers and 1 bedside cabinet. Kettle hadnt been tested since 2015, toilet sounded as ghough it hasn't been used for a good few weeks, radiator took ages to fill with water and heat up. No handwash in the bathroom, bad signal on tv. And upon leaving the room found toe nails on the carpet. The dining area, when we looked through the window there were wires hanging down from ceiling, the kitchen looked like it hadnt been touched in years. For the price i paid i would expect breakfast. We turned up early yet there was no one on site at all manning the reception. This could be a fabulous hotel if run properly and the kitchen and bar area was open. The certificate in the entance gives the hotel a 4 star yet it is dated 2017. I think this hotel needs inspecting and soon.
- Matt (2/5): - Got there and they insisted cash only. Got into the room very dusty worn out furniture smelt old musty but worst of all no electrics couldn’t use tv or kettle. Shower was disgusting and was itching the next morning sleeping in the bed. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
- Debbie (2/5): Rubbish and dirty - The hotel was dirty from the outside in, we got in the first door post still on the floor, the owner wouldn't let us go any further with out payment. As we walked in and up the stairs which had not been hovered in ages judging by how much dirt was on them, as I opened my bedroom door there was a musty smell, the floor was covered in hairs, dirt and cigarette end and fluff ect, the shower was dirty I had to was the base before I has a shower, dead bugs in the draws, my friend got locked in her room and they had to break the door to get her out, also my friends shower base would not empty they had to use the bin to empty it, the fire door was keeped open by a fire extinguisher. this place is not worth the money at all, I would never recommend this place

- Verified traveler (2/5): It is what it is - Well first of all I called a number that was in the door had no luck getting anyone had to call a friend who managed to get a different number for someone to come down and check me in after 2 hours wait. Then I was given my room with blood on the wall no power no tv the room as disgusting they then moved me to another room and this was a bit better however I didn’t stay the full time as I booked into a different hotel. Never again will I book this place to stay.

They use a typical excuse because of Covid we’ve not reopen the facilities, shock, it’s a case of cutting corners to save money and staff

- Robert (10/5): Hidden gem - Staff was at hand when needed. Room was comfy as were the beds. Nice power shower with radiators on to keep the room warm. No bar or dining room. Closed due to covid. Plenty of pubs and places to eat 5 minutes away as is the sea. I would definately come again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Will preface by saying the price was very cheap so expectations were in line with this. Even still there were a couple of issues that made the stay quite unpleasant: One being a very loud water pump that sounded early in the morning when my neighbour was showering, that woke me up rather early following a night out. Likewise the lack of curtains in the room meant that the sun was a rather natural alarm clock in the very early hours of the morning. Overall room condition is as you would expect for the price - old, small but acceptable. Beds were hit or miss. Again I feel begrudginged to complain about a £30/night room but the issues with lighting & noise would make me not return.

- simon (8/5): st elmo guest house- close to pleasure beach - trip was good shame about the weather . the st elmo double room was very cramped . you could'nt get to the toilet with out sqeezing round the sink and with the door open. water in bathroom is not drinkable so must take own up. shower was ok needs improving bed was very comfortble but the tv was set to high which made it un-watchable(not a bad thing when your away). breakfast was typical, with a choice of cereals and a full english breakfast. did not have much veggie options. not a bad accomidation as we only needed a place to stay. the owners make you feel very welcome.
- G (6/5): Nice Trip - i enjoyed my stay in blackpool, the hotel was close to the beach, the room was nice and comfortable. a nice place to stay for couples of a certain age. blackpool is currently being regenerated so part of the beach is closed off, but the town centre and shopping centre has plenty of options to shop around. overall a nice break away
