Guest Reviews
- Ben (2/5): - Roaches in room 309
- Edwin (6/5): - Crack in floor boards, uncleaned sheets, very smelly for a non smoke room, neighborhood sketchy, sink doesn’t drain to well, uncomfortable bedding (thin blanket) but the fire TV was new.
- Maurice (8/5): - Everything was very nice even staff
- Gerri (4/5): - The TV did not have a remote. The microwave did not work.
- Dee Dee (10/5): - It was very pleasant
- KYUNG IL (4/5): - Unpleasant smell in rooms and lobby.
Stains on doors/walls.
Loud noise day and night (cars, people yelling, cars screeching).

- Demetrius (8/5): - No kitchen just a microwave
- Natalie (10/5): - Safe area good staff
- jerome (6/5): - My room looked clean but i saw 2 roaches in the bathroom and the bathtub drain needed to be rodded because after taking a sjower the water went down extremely slow!
- Ramona (10/5): Keep up the great work - Super nice update to the rooms. I was very impressed. Antonio at the front desk is phenomenal and very kind
- Tyler (6/5): - My only issue was that the key cards were shut off before the stay and checkout time was up on checkout day
- Ruth (2/5): - Demasiado mal las habitaciones con muy mal olor baños sucios toallas con mal olor las sábanas con mal olor
- Savon (10/5): - Clean room
- Samuel (2/5): - There were lots of bugs in the room, and there were zero soaps or toiletries, nor was there even any soap to wash my hands with. I had to use my own shower soap from home to wash my hands.
- Joshua (10/5): - Ok
- Clarence (10/5): - My next door neighbors, were a bit loud. But they did quite down.
- Keisha (6/5): - You definitely get what you pay for and this will work! The room is updated and suitable. However floors are a bit dirty and the room is pretty dusty. Be prepared to carry your luggage up steps as the elevator is usually out.
- Francis X. (8/5): - Overall just what i needed, not really a vacation destination, but worked for what i needed.
- Dion (8/5): - Good
- Shadrach (8/5): Nothing fancy but worked for a short stay! - Clean enough to stay for one night! No bugs and everything worked as it should. Didn't seem like the safest spot to be but we had no issues and our vehicle was safe. We would stay here again
- David (10/5): Motel 6 Washington, IL - Excellent.... Great location
- Sean (8/5): Traveled from Houston to work in Chicago - Secure area. The entire area fenced off which I liked. And security cameras for both parking lots to keep people out. Was recently renovated so it’s but you’ll see hints of old stuff and tv was spotty in 2025. Stayed for 6 days and didn’t have any problems. Long term pass. short term decent
- Hallie (10/5): great for the price - staff were really nice, the room was updated and clean, easy check in/check out.
- Lynn (10/5): - Staff was nice. Room however had roaches and dusty around bed frame. There were roached on the toilet paper and floor by the bed
- Donte (10/5): - Clean
- Michael (10/5): - The new room design is nice. Plumbing is still the issue as it was with previous ownership. The sink hot water barely works. Weak ass wifi!
- John M (2/5): - Got to my room and it had not been cleaned
. No sheets or pillow cases. Front desk did not correct the situation. I had to go to office to get sheets, etc. Room was never cleaned. Careless attitude.
- Raj (2/5): - Property was dirty and outside was loud all times of night.
Got a smoke-free room but roomed reeked of smoke and there were a few ashtrays in the room.
- James (4/5): - The employees seemed overworked. So I don't blame them for the motel's inadequacies. I would have given more "stars" but the shower didn't work in my room
- Lavonne (6/5): - I like that they gave me another room after my tv wasnt working in 1st room .2 room was clean and bed was comfortable. What i didn't like was that tv it was blurry they need better tv's but i love them lights on the bed its was ok being in that area .
- Diamond (4/5): My stay - Although Antonio was very nice the whole stay i just didn't like my stay. Our room was clean and looked like the picture but I didn't recognize one of our rooms had mold in the bathroom on the ceiling so we had to relocate. Once we relocated the rooms was still clean , it had stains on the bathroom door and on the wall that i was not satisfied with. 2 roaches came from behind the mirror that threw me off a lil. It was literally loud noise every morning , cars beeping for hours, people yelling, people screeching their cars. That was very annoying. The people that stayed there was nice and again Antonio was very nice !! Overall the bed was clean and the bathroom and that's all i cared about.
- Jerry (2/5): - There was a mix-up in scheduling and when I tried to correct it the price jump extraordinary from the original price. As I was checking in but there was another customer immediately asking for a refund has she indicated The rooms were less than zero and unprisonable for any customer to even consider the thought occupy a room that was not ready for the public. I immediately start scanning around and based on a visual Motel 6 jumped the gun too soon. The Motel must meet all of Motel 6 requirements inside and out. Throwing up Motel 6's sign and the 1 day(most likely) remodeling the lobby to meet Motel 6's Trademark, that means we can open for business. Based on my40 years traveling all over the United States and countless times I had to stay at a motel 6 or find refugees at Motel 6, cleanness throughout the entire property. Leave the light on is worthy. Motel 6's overall from the front desk, lobby, hallway or balcony and rooms requirements before opening for business. This Motel 6 is that ready for the lights to be on. An aggressive week to ensure all rooms, lottery, and other public areas meet.the Motel 6's BRAND throughout the entire property including the Employees exhibiting and wearing uniform protocol
- Jiaxin (6/5): - Dirty blanket, but affordable enough.
- Maurice (10/5): - It was nice
- Armani (10/5): Decent - It’s a decent place to stay overnight, also it’s not expensive.
- Jose Manuel (2/5): - El toilet del baño estaba tapado y todo muy cusio
- Jason (4/5): - There were roaches in the room
- Aicha (10/5): - Rooms were very secured & sealed all around the door. No gaps for smells to come in.
- Aicha (10/5): - Clean remodeled rooms.
- Charles (10/5): - Good
- John (4/5): - This motel is in the south side of Chicago. The room inside the motel is okay, but the neighborhood felt a bit unsafe
- Savon (10/5): - 5 night stay. Nice quiet place. Great quality for the price. Exceptional actually.
- Kenny (2/5): Bad room 120 - Room 120 sink don’t work tub has back flow and stink
- Ahmad (4/5): - Police raided the place. That basically summarizes the place.
- LEZERICK (4/5): - The room was nice and comfortable for the price until I woke up in the morning from yellow water that smelled like urine leaking from ceiling on my personal property and me
- Elshan (2/5): - Feels like you sleep in the street. Insects are everywhere. It’s like a homeless camp!
- Eric (2/5): - Property was the worst experience you can get with roaches and ants after switching multiple rooms you couldn’t avoid it
- Christian (10/5): - The place was cool.
- Abimael (6/5): - Good
- Richard (2/5): - - no fidge
- dust on Windows
-not a good qualities towels
- Lilia (2/5): - Their costumer service was mean and rude. Didn’t really help at all. End up leaving.
- CARLTON (6/5): - The staff is border line rude
- dayanne (10/5): - I appreciate all the people that work at this motel 6! They are polite and always willing to help with reservations. I also have a service animal and it's been so peaceful to stay there.
- Kamariona (10/5): - good asf
- henry (8/5): - La atención es buena el sitio y sus alrededores NO . Pero pienso que regresaría al motel.
- Destiny (4/5): - The room we had smelled like cigarette smoke, the bathroom door had pubic hair on both side of the door. The shower curtain was nasty, cut up a little and a dirty ragbwas hanging from the shower curtain pole that had hairs all over it. There was holes in the walls and the floors were not clean. Also the toliet would shift when you sit on it. The bathroom was so small you had to be careful and the door would not shut. The hot water was luke warm and not really hot.
- Darryl (6/5): - I liked that the property was neat and clean,
but at the same time my room has roaches. I seen multiple roaches.
Also I didn’t like that you had to figure out through the app whether or not your room had would have a microwave and a small fridge. I feel that should be included, especially for those who are staying for multiple nights.
- Zakkea (8/5): - Dirty
- christopher (8/5): - I loved the fact that the room was modern and really clean, had a mini fridge, microwave and cable that actually worked and had a clear picture.
What I didn’t like was I seen a roach in the bathroom. They may need to exterminate sooner than later.
- Deshawn (2/5): - People have attitudes for blasting something all except the young man that works overnight he was okay but the rest of them have latitude roaches in the room leaking in the ceiling and they don't want to give you no accommodation for any of that for the expense only thing that was pretty okay was the television
- Deshawn (2/5): - Nothing coaches in the room you still in Lincoln toilet running all night staff have attitude all set for the young man and we're overnight it was pretty helpful
- Yixin (8/5): - Great price.
- Mary (4/5): - No microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, or no decent towels and the room was not clean, clean.
- Deiamond (6/5): - While the property is being renovated the actual room had bugs and the shower liner was stained with some mysterious stuff. The other guest weren’t too noisy but this is something good if you’re in a pinch last minute
- Jordan (2/5): - There was globs of black hair on the shower wall. There was food splatters on the walls. The bed had plastic wrap which made the sheets not even stay on. If you want plastic on them cool but put sheet anchors on. After laying down for 15 minutes there was no getting them back on over the plastic so we used the comforter to sleep on.
- Alexandra (4/5): - As soon as you walked into the room you get hit with the smell of cigarettes and weed. The bathroom door was chipping there were random paint on the doors. The AC unit was extremely dirty. Don’t recommend unless you’re desperate.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Daniela (4/5): - the room had a cigarrette smell
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Cleanliness and quiet
- Karl (6/5): - While the rooms are decent and appear updated, my room wasn’t finished. The HAVC unit looked like something that should have been in the garbage, the bathroom door had a huge hole in it, I couldn’t even see my room number because they had painters tape over it and painters tape over the door, and I didn’t feel totally safe during my stay. To be fair nothing bad happened and everything worked, the rates are ridiculous for what you’re getting.
- Rachael (6/5): Overnight stay - Newly updated room but work was not well done. There's an air gap all the way around the exterior door, heating/cooling unit is filthy, room reeks of cigarettes, bathroom sink is slow to drain, there is no refrigerator and the sheets and towels are old, dingy and stained. Besides that, it's about what I expected. Fairly clean room. It was pretty quiet and comfortable. Good sized room. The lady at the front desk was friendly and professional. They appeared to still be in the process of updating the property.
- Jeffery (4/5): Do better. - Hotel is in process of what looks like a DIY remodel. There was a cabinet built for a mini fridge, but no fridge. Poor workmanship throughout the room. Exterior could use some clean up as there were bottles, paper and other debris in random places leading to the room. Needless to say, we will never stay here again. Low nightly rate, but proof that you get what you pay for.
- Brian (2/5): - Internet dont work. No iron for clothing. Bathtub and face basin dirty. Dust from renovations and mad paint fumes. Like close down, repair and reopen or discount your price. Sheeesh.
