Guest Reviews

But the bed is horrible rock hard
- Justus (10/5): - stayed for fashion week, really nice room, staff were quick and communicative
- Adrian (4/5): - Unsafe neighborhood. Sheets were stained, shower door wouldn't stay open on its own. Dirty handprints on the ceiling. Someone always double parking in the lot.
- Martin (10/5): - Great service And overall
- Saby (10/5): - The Rooms Were Super clean no Noise i will be staying there again There's all types of Restaurants its A safe area. Staff are great.
- Ederson (10/5): - I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel LIV in the Bronx. The hotel is modern, clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained — a great place to relax after a busy day in the city.
The Bronx itself isn’t the most polished area of New York, but it has its own local charm. While some parts can feel a bit rough around the edges, the neighborhood around the hotel felt safe and had everything I needed nearby. One big plus is that the subway is very close to the hotel, making it super easy to get anywhere in NYC. Having that kind of access to the trains made a huge difference during my stay.
What truly made the experience stand out was the service — especially from Ben. Ben was incredibly helpful, always kind, and went out of his way to make sure I felt welcome. His positive energy and local advice really made my trip better.
Thank you, Ben, for the amazing hospitality! Hotel LIV is lucky to have you.
- Victor (10/5): - I changed rooms and mistakenly left my hat behind and the customer service and the person at the desk for very expedient and helping me retrieve my item thank you
- Andy (8/5): - The area is quiet, clean and safe. The hotel has good parking area
- Belanne (8/5): - Pretty clean overall.
- Dima (10/5): - Near the train and subway stations the only thing is bit far to manhattan
- Halley (10/5): - The hotel itself is lovely. The outside area was a little sketchy but everything having to do with the hotel itself was top notch. It was very clean and nice and the staff was very friendly. I would happily stay again.
- Barbara (10/5): - Clean and excellent service
- Kindra (2/5): Terrible stay - Nothing nearby... just construction.
- Martinique P (6/5): - It was ok
- Shemeka H (8/5): - The property was very clean and the decor was nice however I didn’t like that there wasn’t an iron & ironing board in my room. I did not like the area that the hotel is located at in.
- Frank (10/5): - The 2 train to NYC was a very close, a short walk around the corner. McDonald's and a nice local deli nearby for morning coffee and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, modern room and amenities.
- Leopoldo (8/5): - Todo excelente, lo único que no me gustó es que si no encuentras parqueo pasas mucho trabajo, ya que hay poco espacio para eso, y si es viernes pasa mas trabajo, a parte de eso, todo excelente
- Agnes (10/5): - Very neat and affordable
- Jason (10/5): - 👍
- Ambiorix (10/5): - It was very clean and business like. Not like the rest around the area.
- Alejandro (10/5): LIV it up - New hotel in the Bronx with friendly staff and big clean rooms.
- Gloria (8/5): - The trip was straightforward and easy to navigate from Exit 25 in upstate New York. The hotel was simple to find, and upon arrival I was greeted by Ben, who was very kind and accommodating. I was initially unsure about the parking lot due to the limited number of marked spaces, but Ben came out and reassured me that my vehicle was fine where it was parked. The property is conveniently located near my clinical site and within walking distance of a local supermarket, as well as several eateries, variety stores, and places offering diverse ethnic foods. The 8th floor would be perfect if the hallway lighting were brighter — had my room been around a dark corner, I would have requested a different one. The housekeeping staff was also very accommodating, promptly providing extra towels and blankets when requested.

- Andrew (10/5): No parking available - Parking lot was too small I had to find parking on the street
- Matthew (10/5): Great Time There - It was great stay,I felt comfortable n relax
- Adam (8/5): - New hotel, clean and looks OK. The receptionist was unhelpful, claiming he couldn't see the reservation and that I should handle it myself with Expedia because it wasn't his responsibility. Only after I instructed him to double-check the confirmation number did he manage to find the reservation. The hotel was OK, but the service was poor.
- Waleska (10/5): - We arr
- Ashlee (6/5): - Very clean. Parking was a bit difficult as the lot was very small with limited spots. The nightstand had outlets but didn’t work because the nightstand itself wasn’t plug in, with no outlet near to even plug it in ourselves. The shower was nice but had zero shelves so your stuff was on the floor. Also wish there was a safe, and hangers for the closet (the rail was there to hang stuff but hangers weren’t provided). It was a bit noisy, you could hear people in rooms all the way down the hall.
- Dimple (8/5): New hotel in the Bronx - Hotel is new and in an area of the Bronx that is developing and gentrifying. There are local shops, restaurants, and bodegas in walking distance including a 24 hour McDonald's across the street. The subway is a 10 minute walk and one hour to Times Square. The hotel offers free parking but there are not many parking spots, it's first come first serve. There is street parking but that also was full and street cleaning hours. Overall, for a one night stay it was a good stay, except the parking.
- Tashawna (4/5): - The room was not cleaned how it should have been. There was hair on the new towels there were lashes scattered around the rooms floor. Some of the staff members were very professional and helpful
- YVETTE (10/5): Comfort, Quite and Calm! - In between residences for my new co op, this location was my heaven. A comfortable quiet stay and nearby buses and trains. The staff was caring and kind. The affordable stay matched my former rent payments. I am grateful!
- Amoy (10/5): - Nice hotel
- Frederick (10/5): - The rooms are very spacious very, very clean, plenty of restaurants and transportation.
- Scott (10/5): - Only thing about this hotel is that the walls are way to
- Melissa (8/5): - This property served the purpose for our one night in the Bronx. That said, the hotel being new was a plus. The elevators were fast and the rooms were minimalistic which I liked. The showers had no place other than the floor to place the soap, which was very poor quality, even for complimentary hotel products (bring your own soap/shampoo). The towels had stains on them and the toilet, sink and shower did not look to be sufficiently cleaned. There was hair in several places in the bathroom.
- Willie (8/5): - The property itself was amazing. The room was amazing. The front desk staff was amazing. Super clean room. Comfortable bed. Quite. Now the bad part. There was one thing that I experienced that truly made my decision never to stay there again. It was parking. This hotel has maybe 8 floors with maybe 8-10 rooms on each floor, but only has parking on site for maybe 12-15 cars. I do believe that a few of those cars I believe belong to the staff and never move ( unfair). There is absolutely no street parking nearby. One night during my stay, I arrived at the hotel around 1:15am. I literally drove around until 2:25am before finally finding a place to park. Even then, it was like a 20 minute walk to the hotel and it was pouring down raining. The neighborhood leading to the hotel at that hour in the morning was not safe at all. Just vagrants, homeless people, crank heads, etc were out. It was also raining the next morning so I called a ride share to take me to my vehicle.
Definitely don’t take away from the beauty of the actual hotel, but for sure takes away from the experience. My thoughts would be to figure out a solution for the parking to better insure the safety of your guest. Not to sound sexist but I can’t imagine a woman having to do what I did ( especially if she has luggage). Maybe purchase a van and use it to shuttle guest to and from the hotel from wherever they have to park 24 hours. Even if a fee is involved, this would be a great option.
- Estefany (8/5): - Entre precio y calidad estuvo todo muy bien
- jeremy (4/5): No extras - Was surprised to find no coffee today our room or breakfast. For the price I would expect more services
- Megeno (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable
- Priscilla (8/5): - Clean rooms but missing a few key things in the suite. No irons for clothes. No place to hang or place items in the shower. Should be at least 2 extra toilet paper in bathroom instead of only 1 for the whole 3 days.
The last night there we saw a roach so we put all of our luggage on the table.
- Pamela (10/5): - Very modern building and comfortable beds
- Justin (2/5): NEVER STAY HERE!! - There was zero parking! When i tried to call the hotel no one answered! I think spoke with a live agent who tried to call and again no answer! I never even stayed at the hotel because there was no place to park and go in! They have 10
Parking sports for 40+ rooms and its self park! No organization and no street parking!’ ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!
And even tho i never stayed and couldn’t cancel they still charged me FULL PRICE!! Absolute ROBBERY!!
- mamadou (10/5): - Good
- Trisha (2/5): No parking - I did a last minute booking since I live 1 hour away came back to my room to have no parking in the hotel, the staff informed me to go out and look for parking mind u I don’t know the area and it was late at night this hotel is middle of nowhere, me as a woman shouldn’t walk alone in that area, no lights and nowhere to park my car anywhere within two or half a block away from the hotel they wanted me to park my car 10 or 13 blocks away, then walk back to the hotel. Alone in the dark. Then the front desk advise me to go upstairs to the room and they will call me to let me know when somebody moves their cars who say stuff Now I’m trying to fight to get my refund because I never stood in the room and now the managers is giving me a hard time for services that I never received. as a customer that rents out a room for the night expects parking no matter what. This took time on my vacation and also a hardship for me driving back up a hour drive. All I wanted to do is go and sleep. Then now I have to drive up an hour very very tired. This is very bad customer service.
- Shantee (8/5): - Bedding was of poor quality.
- Naomie (10/5): - New. Clean. Spacious rooms & showers.
- Nelly (10/5): - Clean peaceful environment
