Guest Reviews
- Rhianon (10/5): - I enjoyed the free breakfast. For the price and location it was exactly what I needed
- Mary (2/5): - No WIFI, no TV, the NOT private bathrooms were small and the sink was smaller than an RV sink. No hand towels or paper towels provided.
Rooster roaming the neighborhood and making noise all night, as well as loud music, etc.
The Expedia site said the only room available was a triple for more cost, then tried to put me in single room.
Do NOT stay here!
- Celeste (6/5): - First time experiencing hostel/dorm style stay. Stayed 2 nights. The owner greater us at the door and gave us room was clean, the staff greeted us at the door and gave us a quick tour. One bathroom was tiny in size but manage to get the job done, had another regular size bathroom available. Sometimes you find water on floor if someone previously showered or washed hands in the smaller bathroom. Stayed in room 6, one bed very firm, almost felt coils under. The other bed a bit too soft, but i was able to get sleep. Neighbors can get loud they had a party late at night, so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Be prepared to find parking anywhere around the neighborhood as there is no parking saved specifically for you. Room felt a bit warm for us in the afternoon/evening while getting ready. Breakfast is available, we didn’t get a chance to try. 1st day it ended earlier than 11, we didn’t know and we were taking a while to get ready for the day. Second day, just looked crowded so we headed out.
- XINYI (10/5): - A guest house that feels like home
- Tien (2/5): - The posting's advertisement drawn us to this property, but Very poor experience. Bait and switch scheme with this booking. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. We reserved online. Called them we'll be arriving late eve. They let us to believe the room will be ready for us, let us drove there then made up stories that the reserved room is no longer available, has issues, etc... Insisted that we got another location in Koreatown, better room, etc... Past midnight in downtown LA, our radar went up with different stories from the owner and the staff. We cancelled (hoping they don't charge us), searched for another hotel with better reviews. You may have better luck, take your chances. Their posting advertised parking, we saw street parking only in crowded neighborhood, and there's NONE. Good luck
- William (10/5): - This property was excellent! It was nice and clean, safe, and the staff were friendly and great. Even the free breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day without any extra expense. Great value and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again.
- Roger (8/5): - Clean room , sadly no breakfast but the stay was peaceful
- Duc Doan Phuc (10/5): - The host is very friendly! I lost my ID but I was able to check in with my friend’s ID. The room was clean with necessary amenities. I would recommend this place if you are going to concert nearby!
- Jolene (2/5): - Dirty house. Looked like a homeless den. By all the homeless also
- David (2/5): - They didn’t even know I was coming. I had to prove that I’d booked and paid for a room then they said ok and took me up 3 flights of stairs to a room that had extreme sloped ceilings. Out of the entire room there was only a space of about 3 feet by 6 feet that I could actually stand up straight without bumping my head (I’m 6ft tall). I bumped my head several times throughout the stay they had two hangers setting on a little shelf unit but there was literally no place to use them to hang something. No closet, not even a hook!!?! The linens were sparse and didn’t cover the bed. The bathroom was down stairs and through a couple of hallways. (Really fun if you have to get up in the night…) the info said there was parking but what they were referring to is street parking on streets jammed with parked cars in a bad neighborhood. When we came home from the event we were in town for around 11:00 pm, everything was locked up so I had to hop a spiked fence to get into the yard and I had to start yelling through the house trying to find someone to let us in. EVENTUALLY, a very cranky women came out and let us in. (There were two others people trying to get in when we got there). AND THE BREAKFAST WAS ABSOLUTE Garbage. A slice of velvets cheese, some olives, coffee, Tang, and one stale dried out bagel to share. (Yumm!!?!). In retrospect, I should’ve slept in my car instead of staying there. I’m actually really surprised that this guest house would be even listed by Expedia..WOW!!?!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad experience - This is an Air BnB I understand it's cheap and you only get street parking. I just want to get a place to sleep through the night. There was no parking spot nearby when I get there around 9pm, and I was told to park on the driveway but got called at 1am to move my car and I had to find a place to park a couple of blocks away at night. Toilet is clogged, not to mention the noise and the mosquitos. There are 14 rooms in a 3 story house. It's cheap I get it but if I could choose again I would have got a hotel and save myself some troubles.
- Michael (10/5): - Continental breakfast a positive for me, and I slept very well. The staff were polite and helpful. I felt welcome. Thank you to the staff. I won't ever forget my stay.
- Isa (2/5): - we had be relocated from our original location
- Rhonda (10/5): Would stay again, bargain. - Very clean. Comfortable. Staff friendly, despite language barrier for me.
- Ryan (8/5): - There were issues with check in and miscommunication regarding 2 nights stay and they thought it was only one. Other than that, it was good.
- Jasmine (10/5): - Great customer service, friendly staff, clean room, and comfortable bed. Good place to stay for your family vacation.
- Toniangel (6/5): - We were asked to go to a different location to aqNo Ac at all. Shower had only freezing cold water coming out. Ran out of toilet paper.
- Nicole (2/5): - WOOO BABY WHERE TO START. WORST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING
- Trishanan (10/5): - Excellent
- Michael (10/5): - Very nice
- Tony (10/5): - Quiet place to relax
- Patricia (8/5): - The room was clean, the house itself was clean too, i just didn't like the kitchen's stuffs, like peanut batter can not be in the fridge, also the bottles of juices on top where to close the bouchon were dirty those are the only thinks i didn't like there
- Travis (8/5): - Nice people. Scary area.
- Lenore (10/5): - Property was clean well cared for and comfortable.
Facilities good. Lovely room and nice exterior.
People were friendly.
Only issue was late breakfast aon both days and WiFi cut out at midnight 1st August. Not sure the reason but left me stranded the next morning when I needed to order a car and book my ongoing journey using WiFi. It was not restored and I had to leave early.
- Katina (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast.
- Zoro (10/5): - We stayed at home, and the host, Ms. Nazgul, was a wonderful person. She was always attentive, shared dinner with us, and made us feel completely at home.
- Katina (10/5): - I stayed here 6 days and the staff was very nice and friendly
Very safe beautiful breakfast!
I would come again!!!!
- Joshua (2/5): - I had an awful experience and I didn't even stay here. I first off called them the day before and asked if it's ok to check in late because my flight landed around 12:30am. I was told yes and to give them a call when I arrive and someone will be there to check me in. Come the day of, I called them around 1am and was told it was too late to check in. I tried to argue that they told me over the phone I was able to check in late but they did not accept this. If you're going in late and need to check in don't stay here. I'm sure this place is nice but there was a sever lack of communication on their side and nothing to remedy the situation. Expedia was great and got me a refund but it was a pain trying to find a hotel at 1:30am
- Jennifer (10/5): - Thanks for the amazing stay. The host is beyond acceptional and amazing this spot is awesome I will definitely be coming back again. Affordable clean quiet great host and they offer breakfast all the way around perfect stay again thanks so much for your hospitality 💓💓💓
- Taylahni (2/5): - The property advertises on-site covered parking, but there is only one space occupied by the host.
There were no door codes or any other way to get in the front door and yard gate without the host unlocking it. I spoke to them before heading out for the day, asking what I should do to get inside since I’d be back late at night and she assured me that I just need to call/text to be let in. I waited outside and called and texted for about 2 hours, alongside another guest that was in the same situation. I returned later at 7:30 am and there was still no answer. For both days/nights, I was only able to change my clothes, I could not use the restrooms since they were constantly occupied. I had to sleep in my vehicle and shower at a gym where I have a membership. My refund request was denied, so I literally just paid almost $100/night for somewhere to store my suitcase.
