Guest Reviews
- Justin Paul (2/5): - This was one of the most uncomfortable and unsettling places I’ve ever stayed. The general environment felt unsafe from the minute I arrived. The manager’s behavior toward the women participating in the work-for-stay program was extremely off-putting — I personally witnessed interactions that came across as unprofessional, uncomfortable, and highly inappropriate. The whole setup made me feel like the work-exchange program was being taken advantage of, and it created an atmosphere that felt predatory, even if not overtly stated.
Beyond that, the building itself was in terrible condition. I noticed what looked like multiple code and safety issues: exposed wiring, unstable fixtures, broken locks, and areas that didn’t appear structurally sound. Cockroaches were everywhere — in the rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces — making it feel genuinely unsanitary.
Fire safety was another major concern. Several exit paths were blocked or cluttered, and I didn’t see any clearly marked evacuation information. It honestly made me question how safe any guest would be during an emergency.
Overall, this place felt unsafe, poorly maintained, unprofessional, and deeply uncomfortable — especially for women and anyone considering the work-exchange program. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
