Guest Reviews
- Mary Nancy (8/5): - Clean room, great staff, and great food!
- Yu (10/5): - Clean rooms and nice staff. Beautiful place to stay.
- Debbie (10/5): - Pools were lovely, rooms were clean, staff was very friendly
- Evan (6/5): - Staff was excellent, we had a pretty bad leak from the window into our room. Due to heavy rain, nonetheless, we did not expect to have a bunch of water in the room.
- Alain (6/5): Good stay, but place needs a bit of help - Stay was good. Overall, the hotel need a good clean up. The pools are the best part. The staff is super nice. The location is spectacular. The bones of the hotel are so good, just needs a a good vaccum, maybe a coat of paint here and there, and an update to some amenities.
- Joseph (8/5): - The property is well maintained , the staff are very friendly. we have loved our stay and will come back next year
- Isabel (10/5): - It’s very nice stayed
- Matilda (8/5): - Enjoyed a massage. Pools that were open were nice. Hot tub was closed for most of our stay. Cold plunge tub was hot. Sauna out of service.
- Kirt Ryan (2/5): - Everything is dirty: room, water from the shower, pool lining, pool water, slide, 18+ area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Golf course was in very good shape. Fun round
- Bridget (10/5): - It was amazing!! Felt better than ever after our spa service, food was awesome, only thing is rooms and spa pool area need some work. Just one temp in spa pool area, so don’t expect Nordic plunge, etc. overall though it was amazing!
- kristina (8/5): - We had a relaxed, restful stay. Loved the trails, and the spa pool was amazing. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. The staff were accommodating, and the restaurant food was stunning.
- ARRIANNE (8/5): - Great family getaway, clean and huge rooms, friendly staff, great hiking trail esp for kids
- Renan (8/5): - We didn’t like the carpet, it looks old and carpet in comum areas is not clean.
We liked the food, the hospitality, nice space room.
- April L (6/5): - The service was excellent. The hotel needs a major update. Painting the wood exterior, t our room the wallpaper was falling off, toilet area always wet and need ceiling fans.
- Diane (8/5): - Hot tub and sauna were not working and there was no mention of this anywhere. Loves there was an 18+ option. Staff were friendly and helpful
- Taylor (8/5): - Great outdoor spaces and food was good.
Rooms and pool could use some TLC, lots of mildew in the shower and wall paper peeling off the walls in rooms and hallways.
- Adrianne (4/5): - We made the trip expecting something special, but the rooms and family pool were pretty rundown. The staff were very helpful and friendly, but our bath/shower was broken and they weren't able to fix it during our short stay.
The restaurant isn't what it used to be, with limited options, small portions, and high prices. On the plus side, a lot of gluten-free options, and the desserts were great! Service was friendly but very slow.
- Jaskaran (8/5): - Alright
- randall (10/5): Very nice - Staff was very helpful, room was clean and comfortable with amazing view. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. There was lots to do nearby and although we didn't golf the course look wonderful.
- SVITLANA (6/5): - Average
- donald (6/5): - Staff in restaurant were excellent… the guy from Cape Breton & the twin girls were very nice …Joe at golf course was entertaining..
- Isabel (10/5): - Clean, organized and excellent staf.
- Anj (8/5): - We had a restful stay. Room was spacious, clean and sheets were fresh. Reception and restaurant staff were courteous and welcoming. Pools were relaxing.
- Miles (8/5): - We had a lovely short stay at Lakeview. Ali at the restaurant was very thoughtful and took great care of us, making our dining experience wonderful. Jose at the front desk was very friendly and went out of his way to offer us a First Aid Kit when my friend slipped when we were hiking. Their kindness and attentiveness really made our stay special.
The only downside was that the toilet flush didn’t work well, even after being checked by the engineer.
But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was worth the trip!
- Ryan (4/5): - No water for most the morning. Then when it came back on it was all rusty looking. Poor customer service and poor wait staff at the restaurant. Oven wasn’t working for 2 of the days we were there.
- Suresh (8/5): - All good. Nice time with family.
- Suresh (8/5): - All good
- Pamela (4/5): No water! - When we arrived to the hotel, we learned there was a boil water advisory so we were advised not to use the room water for drinking, brushing tea, etc. Except no bottled water was placed in the room and we were not offered any. We woke up this morning to NO RUNNING WATER in the rooms at all. Four people unable to shower or do anything needing water. No notice from the hotel that the water was being shut off. We had to go and shower at the campground!!!! Over $200+ a night and no water. This is disgraceful.
- Julius Norman (10/5): Will visit again - Our stay is great. Being there with my family and celebrating our 13th anniversary. The rule that you cannot plug stuff is the one i dont like. Because the plugs beside the bed are not working so i cannot use my CPAP machine.
- Chris (6/5): - Overall was a good experience, but there are a few issues. The small hot tub didnt work for the second day, the swimming area has worn out, dingy looking areas, although the water was clean and hot. That part was nice. The hallways are dark and in serious need of a vacuum, theres grass and bugs on the carpet, which smells bad. The room was nice, clean and fairly quiet, but theres a gap under the door so you hear EVERYTHING happening in the hall. Lights in the bathroom are also dark and bathroom just needed renovating. Good things: the grounds are nice, spa and restaurant were good.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Outdated, and expensive…the food that we ordered in the restaurant are not good
- Amy (8/5): - We travelled with our 3 kids (ranging from age 4-10). Our kids had a fantastic time in the pool area! We enjoyed the fountains and the lighthouse hike. We appreciated all the natural light and the size of the hotel room itself! Would definitely go back!
- VAN KHANH (10/5): - Quiet, fresh air, walkable.
Nice, wide room.
Flexible to check in early.
- Valerie (10/5): - Bed very comfortable. Front desk staff excellent. Restaurant staff and service was good. Pool area excellent, hot tub good temp as well as the pool.
Internet access sketchy.
- grace (8/5): - while we throughly enjoyed the adult only pool area and the outdoors the restaurant was unfortunately a miss, the fish was oily and very thick
- Grant (10/5): - The view
- Jake (10/5): - This place checks all the boxes for an easy staycation getaway without breaking the bank. Getting drinks delivered poolside for such a reasonable price is an unbeatable luxury.
- Tara (6/5): - Very dated. And not the greatest for kids as the kids pool area was not well kept and most did not function properly. Either the jets or the water slide wasn’t to wet. Hot tub was out of order
Could be a great place if the maintenance was kept up
- Ravinder (8/5): - Na
- erin (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Hecla Resort. We loved the peaceful area and pools. The only thing would be the hotel needs some updating in the suites. Floors were a bit sticky.
- Lukas (4/5): - Ove
