• Talea (10/5): - Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, es liegt sehr Zentral und es sind nur wenige Meter zu Fuß zum Strand. Ein kleiner Nightmarket ist direkt um die Ecke und allgemein gibt es sehr viele kulinarische Auswahlmöglichkeiten direkt in dieser Straße. Ein 7/11 liegt außerdem in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Zu dem Hotel gehört ein kleines Café bei diesem morgens das Frühstück serviert wird. Am Abend vorher kreuzt man auf einem Zettel an, was man mag - am nächsten Morgen wird es einem ganz frisch serviert. Das Café hat außerdem eine tolle Auswahl an Getränken, Smoothiebowls usw. Unser Aufenthalt wurde durch das Personal sehr besonders, da sie so aufmerksam und freundlich zu uns waren. Wie waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen.

• Ollanketo (9/5): Great stay with a choice of three pools to use at the nearby Peace Laguna resort - The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and everyone of them did their job with sincerity and made the guests, specifically myself, feel very welcomed and important. I saw them treat other guests in the same manner. Like everywhere in Thailand for me, the water does not actually get cold. I am just used to getting cold water in a shower that is like ice water because I am from the north of Wisconsin, but I understand the reasons and it is not something that affects my decisions there.

I would 100% stay here again when visiting Aonang. There is abit of noice at night from the bars ,but it didn’t bother me too much. The pool was isn’t attached to the hotel.

• Zita (7/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Verandah. - Location was very good and the staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty too. Our room was facing 4 night clubs that played extremely loud music until 3 am. We were not aware how loud it would be , we couldn’t sleep at all our first night. We asked the staff to change our room to a quieter one but first that said that the other side of the hotel is the “luxury” side but there are no available for the next few days. Then about 15 min later they said they can offer a different room but instead of a twin room it will be a double bed. Me and my friend we took it and it was indeed much quieter. However, we didn’t have hot water in that room. This, we didn’t even mention at the reception for two reasons: 1. We appreciated the effort for the quiet room, 2. We enjoyed the cold shower during those hot days. 😊

• Razvan (9/5): Very good - The hotel was very good and worth the money. It was clean, with comfortable beds. The view towards the beach was beautiful. The staff was okay. They also have an elevator and a fairly generous breakfast. However, what we didn’t like was that on the first evening there was no hot water at all. That said, the issue was resolved after we informed them. The internet connection also didn’t work very well.

• Melanie (1/5): Terrible customer service. Reconsider and find a different hotel - Previously we have stayed for weeks at this hotel as we loved our room and the location. At the time most of the staff were lovely. This time we were put in a tiny Deluxe Room which was a tiny noisy room in the back of the hotel with banging all night long and no internet when I asked why we couldn’t be changed to the Superior Room (cheaper, larger room, where we normally stay) they told us we didn’t book for that room. Kept insisting it would be quieter. The room was so small we could barely open the bathroom door to get in to use either facilities. Staff were so rude. What was once a lovely experience at this hotel has been ruined. Meanwhile we have been learning Thai whilst living here and could hear the staff speaking negatively about us the whole time. Disgustingly rude.

• Aline Mayara (8/5): Muito bom, recomendo. - Próximo ao centro, do lado de vários estabelecimentos. Ao lado havia outro hotel que pertence ao mesmo dono, e tínhamos acesso à piscina. O quarto era bem espaçoso e confortável, com todas as instalações funcionando. Faltou um pouquinho mais de capricho com a limpeza, encontramos cabo de celular e pacote de preservativo embaixo da cama.
• Daisy (10/5): The hotel's amazing staff, delicious cafe with customizable breakfast, and access to a huge pool made for a fantasti - Absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their friendliness and helpfulness really made my trip special. And the cafe downstairs? Amazing! I loved that breakfast was included, and the option to choose from a menu the night before was a great touch. The food was delicious and such a treat to wake up to. Plus, having access to that huge hotel pool just down the road was the cherry on top. I can't recommend this place enough!

• Chris (9/5): Experience a more quiet side of town but in the heart of Krabi - The location is amazing, walking distance to the beach and other attractions, ample restaurants and convenience stores very nearby. Lovely cafe at the lobby to just chill, with very good restaurants opposite, on the same street. Balcony rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable, and the staff are exceedingly polite and helpful. The travel agent for boat tours and island hopping just opposite the hotel at the corner is super friendly and helpful too. Nothing. I've stayed here 5 times already, it's my go-to hotel in Krabi, top notch and priced very reasonably for this level of accommodation.
• V4779RDml (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Reservation was made directly with hotel. Emails were promptly replied by Bee. She was very efficient and sweet as she not only answered all our enquiries and could recognise us as returning guests at the first instance. Though it may not hv luxurious suites, Verandah Hotel provides impeccable services. The rooms are of good size, well-kept, hotel is strategically located and not forgetting the excellent service from the Front Desk, Housekeeping and F&B teams. Wifi is also strong within the premises. In addition, the front desk is always manned by cheerful and helpful colleagues (even at odd hours). As usual, we found the F&B team very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, can anticipate customers’ needs, and had always created a welcoming and positive dining experience. The cafe has good mix of Western and local cuisines, the quality was awesome! Must share that the Mango Sticky Rice at Verandah Cafe is one of the best we’ve tried during our recent 9 days stay at Krabi. Had on numerous occasions sat at lobby area, noted how hardworking the staff were. They were constantly on the lookout to see to the needs of the guests & diners and also hard at work to ensure the premise is in pristine condition. Reception assisted with our airport transfer. They even reminded us to sign out towels when they heard we were going out to the sea. They also asked if we had umbrellas when we left hotel one gloomy afternoon. Such kind and thoughtful gestures from Verandah’s team gives the home-away-from-home feeling. The Management and staff (Su, Bee, Pu, Nah, Fern, Tangmo, Marn, Beam, Kho, Sun, Yah, Lee, Poo and others) were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making our travel experience truly enjoyable. We could see that the team was motivated, well-trained and empowered to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently

Also the breakfast is the same price in the resort so recommend going there if you did not have it included in your room price. The location is central yes, but the rooms are also very close to the main street and the music from bars, venues and street are quite loud during night time

• Cate (2/5): - This property was just gross. Old, dated and dirty rooms. The club next floor blasts music until 2am. No hot water, which was fine because the shower was so gross I wouldn’t touch it. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. Just avoid.

The service however was terrible, I was very surprised how rude the staff were, epecially the front-desk lady. Breakfast had some good things like eggs and fruit, but the coffee and juices were undrinkable. Overall this palce isok to stay for 1-2 days for its proximity to the beach and ferry ports, but there are better options in the area.
