Guest Reviews
- melinda (10/5): - Many shops nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Loretta (8/5): - The convenience to shopping and restaurants is excellent. New and updated facility. Staff members were very attentive. There is no coffee available in the rooms. It is always available in the lobby, but I like coffee before I get dressed. The TV service was easy to use and allowed access to Netflix and Apple+ with personal logins. Our room had some plumbing noise that was an annoyance. Decent accommodations for the cost.
- andrew (10/5): - Great stay here it's close to shops and food clean and quiet and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable
- Kim (10/5): - Never stayed at a Tru before. Very clean and modern. Breakfast was just ok. We’ll be back.
- Bonnie (8/5): - Service and cleanliness were excellent!
- Ron (10/5): - Its good
- andrew (10/5): - Great staff very friendly and willing to help. Clean room, great bed
- Niki (10/5): Exceptional Stay! - Extremely friendly and easy check in! The staff was so polite and professional.
The surrounding area is wonderful with shops and places to eat as well
- Linda M (8/5): - This hotel was 2 months old. In our room a tile in the bathroom was already missing and when we came in the front door it would not open. The person at the fesk took a little bit to realize we could not get in. She apologized and said that has never happened before. She was very pleasant. I did not say anything at the front desk about the tile. Location was great, a short distance from Kellogg Arena and there was a Meijer and other places of business within walking distance.
- Scott (10/5): - New, clean. Would stay again
- Byron (8/5): - Quiet and comfortable
- Bill (10/5): - Not relevant.
- kamal (8/5): - Not quiet. I can hear into the other rooms.
- Pamela (10/5): - Linens were very clean and everything was pristine in the room and bathroom. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Location convenient for the Gilmore Car Museum our destination. Very much family feel Which we liked.
- Aaron (10/5): - Staff was friendly. The hotel is new, so in very good shape.
- Lori (10/5): - Very clean, pillows were too soft. Not big enough garbage.
- Carolyn (8/5): - Very nice clean and friendly and safe
- Thomas (10/5): - Brand new property is immaculate. A couple of misfires in breakfast area quickly attended to by staff. No complaints
- Eugene (10/5): Absolutely exceptional! - Everything about this place is exceptional! The staff was amazing, the entire place is clean and the decor is so uplifting and fun. Breakfast bar is one of the nicest I had in a hotel of its size. The only thing I didn’t like is that there is no coffee pot in the room but that doesn’t affect my 5 star rating. I will definitely stay there again if I need to go to Battle Creek!
- Camille (8/5): - Nice clean room. Decent breakfast and coffee.
- Deborah (8/5): - The only issues we had were that there were no cups or bathmat to be used. The floor looked dirty after 2 days so maybe some kind of rug by the door.
- Diane (10/5): - Our room had people in the room above us and they were pretty loud with banging on the floor. There was a loud bang in the early morning from the ceiling. Sounded like they dropped something very heavy in the floor. Woke us up.
- Melissa (10/5): - Clean, quiet and comfortable stay! Our Saturday receptionist was so lovely and helpful. My only complaint was they were out of many breakfast items an hour before it was over. Overall, a great overnight stay.
- Jack (8/5): - The staff was very supportive, friendly and helpful whenever needed.
- Michelle (10/5): - Clean, neat just nice.
- Barbara (10/5): - This place was great. Friendly staff, welcoming feeling. Would definitely stay here again!
- Richard (10/5): - Nice property.
Nice people.
- Edward (10/5): - Great stay!
- Guillermo (8/5): - Comfort
- William (10/5): - We have stayed at tru 2 homes before and they all are fantastic. Had a ground floor room and was very quiet and very restful. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh choices to pick from. Will stay again.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - The front desk receptionist was very confused and couldn't find our reservation when she checked in. Then she thought the card we provided was not the same card used when the reservation was made. She then charged the card again. Our billing statement now has two separate charges for the room, Expedia and Hilton. I called TRU and they can't find our reservation. They seem very confused on how their system works! I am now waiting for a call back after their manager arrives and hopefully they can find our booking and resolve the double billing issue.
