- khaled (8/5): - Great location, spacious and clean room. However, the lighting in the hallways and in the room is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. It’s way TOO DARK. The cosy atmosphere they were seeking was completely missed. I couldn’t shave properly because all you see in the mirror is shadows. As a regular visitor to Guangzhou for decades, there are many other better options in this high price range. Staff was helpful but communication was very difficult because hardly anyone spoke English. For a 5 star hotel that caters to foreigners, it’s unacceptable.
