Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): - Room was great, parking was easy, check in and check out was a breeze
- James (2/5): - I walked into the room with a swarm of gnats and mosquitoes I checked out 10 minutes after I got into the room. Luckily I got a full refund. It is inconvenient to Downtown Nashville which I was told was walking distance it's actually 1.8 miles to walk. It's not in the best of areas. Would not feel safe walking around that area at night
- Roseanne Marie (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay! We brought our super well-behaved 11-year-old senior pit mix dog with us, and every thoughtful design detail—from the seamless contactless check-in to the overall layout—helped reduce every bit of stress. The room itself was beautifully neat, spotless, and impressively well-stocked.
There were just a couple of very minor home-improvement details to note: the blackout curtain didn’t fully close, and the toilet paper holder had a loose screw, so it was a bit wobbly. They responded so quickly when I told them about it. Other than that, absolutely no notes from me—and I’m super meticulous!
Highly recommend for future stayers looking for comfort, convenience, and a truly relaxing experience! We were driving from Virginia.
- Lynn (6/5): - Clean, nice communal facilities, but room interior seemed very rushed and unintentional (e.g. rubber lining around shower was not trimmed to size, no lamps next to bed only bright overhead light). Never saw any staff, everything was self service. Convenient location to be able to walk into Germantown.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Clean, very comfortable,
- Darrell (10/5): - Great location. We went to the Bridgestone arena for a concert and the location was perfect at a very reasonable price. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only issue is they need another lamp near the bed. But overall a great stay.
- Morgan (10/5): - The room was 20/10 in quality and luxury. I highly recommend staying here! I plan to book another room at the Soundry in the future.
- Gary (10/5): - With plans to attend a birthday celebration in the Germantown area, we were looking for a place that was walkable. This place did not disappoint. Not only was it walkable but the amenities on site were quite impressive with a pickleball court, cornhole boards and ping pong tables in the commons area. Our room was modern, clean and spacious and the contactless checkin process was smooth and efficient. Definitely recommend!!
- Christopher (8/5): - The property was great. I enjoyed staying here and now I would stay here again. I just find, somebody not being present inconvenient.
- Kiyana (10/5): - The stay was magnificent. I will book there again
- Jose (10/5): - Good location not to for from downtown ubers $10-$20 to some places if that...WE WILL BE BACK...CLEAN , COMFORTABLE and SAFE...
- Erin (10/5): - A very cute space with a lot of amenities. Loved that there was free street parking. The mattress was one of those foam ones which I find super uncomfortable, but otherwise, a great experience.
- JOYA (10/5): - The room was full excellent. Very clean. Would definitely recommend.
- Emily (2/5): - The room is really nice and the building itself is too. However, this is a self check in hotel and the codes that were given did not work several times. It took 45 minutes to get into my room.
- Taylor (10/5): - Great
- Jeffrey (10/5): - All around great spot to stay, when needed staff was very responsive and helpful
- David (10/5): - Great room it was quiet not too far from the city. Had zero issues would stay here again.
- Andrew (10/5): - Clean spacious room. Walking distance to some cool places.
- Wyatt (10/5): - Such a cozy spot close to downtown without the stress of being RIGHT downtown. And the bed?? SOOO comfortable! I got such a great night’s rest. Would absolutely stay again!
- Benjamin (10/5): - Amazing hospitality!
- Jake (2/5): - Check in codes did not work. Took an hour to get into the room. Once in the room the bed and the pull out bed were absolutely disgusting. Hair everywhere. The pull out bed had surely been slept in without being cleaned.
- Shawn (8/5): - Good property. Room was pretty beat up but it worked for us. Had everything we needed and host responded many times prior to the trip. Would stay again
- Karen (2/5): - The staff mislead me when I wanted a top floor. There are 3 floors. Everything needs a refresh like paint the doors & interior. Sheets like sandpaper. Unsafe neighborhood with no place to park. They think they’re “cool” with no onsite service but it’s uncomfortable (to me).
- michael (10/5): - I travel a lot for pleasure and business.I do a lot of research and comparing for my needs.I could have got a hotel 4 minutes from my venue but I go by feel sometimes. I liked looks and sound (pun intended), the neighborhood, and the balcony sold it. The communication with them was great throughout, quick response, they made it easy and it felt like I knew them. Gave me peace of mind because my wife wondered what I was booking. I get tired of hotels. From the moment we got dropped it just felt like home. The little patio out front, the cool comfortable lobby, and the large common area out back, wish we had more time to hang out.We get to the room and it was large and comfortable, had everything we needed and of course the balcony. Anything else you needed was in walking distance, stores, restaurants and lot's to do. We were there for a couple of concerts and there were friendly like minded people staying there.Filled the days walking around, Tennessee State Museum was great, Bicentennial Park and Farmers Market.Easy Lyft to shows and airport. What a great, full day and a half we had! Can't say enough about the place.Wish we could have spent more time there. We will be back and looking forward to it. Thanks for everything!
- michel (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Soundry.
Check in was easy and the lobby was snazzy and the location was great. We walked to dinner in GermanTown and it was enjoyable and safe.
We had a slight hiccup at check in with our room and we contacted the staff, they resolved it very quickly and we were moved to another room no problem.
The only thing I would say is that with this being basically a contact free hotel stay, I did miss the greeting and welcome that comes with a front desk, a few times we had questions but didn’t feel like bothering with the “process of contact” as opposed to calling the front desk for a quick question. Also I went down to the lobby to read and have a cup of tea on several mornings but the place felt barren and vacant, it made me realize how much people help to create a “vibe”.
I guess I am more of a socal traveler and enjoy a coffee and bar spot within the hotel.
If your looking for quite and very little interaction but a great space this could be your spot.
- Jesse (10/5): - I’ll start this off by saying that for the price and convenience to be able to get downtown, this is the best value I’ve found. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, the little balcony space and front seating area was nice. However, if you choose to stay here be weary and check your vehicles daily, especially if you park in the lot across the street. When we left we noticed that the vehicle next to us had their back glass busted overnight and looked as if the car had been ransacked. The area is pretty nice from what I could tell, but definitely some riff raff going on.
- Hilario (10/5): - No staff on site, which was new for me. I plan on making anoher trip and will stay at this facility. I was highley impressed!
- Amy (10/5): - Absolutely great accommodations.
- Tracey (10/5): - Clean, nice. It was loud in the evenings, no rugs= echo of loud people. But very cool, vibey place. We were a dad and daughter and enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole!
- Kim (10/5): - The Soundry was a wonderful place to stay for a concert night at Brooklyn Bowl. There was free parking on the street. This might be more difficult to secure on a weekend visit. The street was well lit and safe. The entry was easy with the provided code. The room was spacious and the mattress on the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely stay again. It was our first time staying in the Germantown area, and we loved it.
- Antonio (10/5): - Close to Broadway. You don’t have to see anyone from start to finish. Clean and convenient
- Shun (10/5): - almost perfect!
only water pressure in shower room was too weak though
- Dillon (10/5): - Was a great stay but the check in process wasn't user-friendly
- Thomas (6/5): - There is no staff. You need to scan a code, upload your info including a drivers license photo and then you get a text with a code for the front door and your room. Not convenient after a long day of traveling.
- Nicole (10/5): - Some of the coffee cups were put away dirty. Cleaning staff should double check dishes after guests check out. Would be nice to have an option to turn balcony light off. Overall, experience was wonderful. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.
- gina (2/5): - Not sure, wouldn't let me stay due to up loading wouldn't work cause its a staff free looks of a hostel
- Michael (10/5): - Easy and convenient
- Nicole (10/5): - Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
- Rhett (10/5): - Nice courtyard with fire pits and yard games.
- Melissa (10/5): - Love this place!!! Will stay again.
- Nicole (10/5): - Super clean, very comfortable bed, cute lobby, and wonderful outdoor area!!
- MR P J (10/5): Highly recommended - Spotlessly clean
Very comfortable
Location is great for German town and bicentennial park.
Free on street parking a bonus
Highly recommend
- Marie (10/5): - Room was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies and towels, hotel itself was located conveniently for our exploring the area
- Emily (10/5): Wonderful apartment rental! - I was very pleased with my stay. It was within close proximity to downtown, just a quick Uber away. There is no staff on-site, but the help number will connect you with a lovely receptionist to assist with any confusion. The room was immaculate. Parking was convenient.10/10
- David (10/5): - Great location close to a newly gentrified neighborhood. Rooms large and accommodating. Management very nice and attentive. Will stay again.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Very happy with the stay and the property!! The staff was helpful and I really appreciate the help i was given!! I would definitely stay again. You arr close to everything. There is a Walgreens near and the Famers Market is close by also.
- Craig (10/5): - Great room, clean, and close to downtown, 2 min uber ride to broadway
- Charlotte (10/5): - Everything was excellent
